My best friend prefers the knife grip too, and I taught her to crochet haha. To each their own 😁 Maybe we should do a poll haha. I bet it's close to 50/50.
@@CraftywithAshy I'm left handed so doing a pencil grip with my right hand seems unnatural. After two hours of trying the pencil grip my carpal tunnel flared up so much the GP is sending me for an MRIp, and the pain is such I can't crochet at all (or open the cap of a bottle , or lift the kettle). A whole week of no crochet and pain 😥
@@CraftywithAshy thank you. I have to wear a splint for another two weeks. I'm just going to stick with knife grip, even if I don't get to make lacy shawls 😂
