    Is it possible on Tangem to import a new wallet like a trust wallet where I already have my seed phrase?
    Or do I have to open this as a new wallet and transfer all my coins with transaction fees?

    • @cyberscrilla
      @cyberscrilla  Місяць тому +3

      Yes you can import a seed phrase. However, importing a hot wallet like trust wallet defeats the purpose of using a cold wallet like Tangem as the seed phrase is already hot.

    • @cyberscrilla
      @cyberscrilla  2 місяці тому +1

      If you’re using the OneKey app as a hot wallet (not connected to your hardware wallet), then it’s just that. Meaning you can approve transactions via the app.
      But if you connect your OneKey Hardware wallet to the app, all transactions must be approved from your hardware wallet.
      Sounds like you might be using the app as its own wallet.

    • @cyberscrilla
      @cyberscrilla  Місяць тому

      Distribution is good idea. But remember, your wallet doesn’t actually hold crypto. It’s only used to access it.
      So as long as you have your seed phrase, you can access your crypto using most wallets on the market.

      I’ll see what I can do!!
      However, right off the bat I can tell you DCENT card wallet is seedless, meaning you don’t know the seed phrase.
      I don’t like that. If you lose your card, you lose your crypto. You also can’t import it into another brand wallet because you don’t know the seed phrase.
      Whereas Tangem lets you generate or import a seed phrase.

      Second, Tangem does support Stellar (XLM). Open the Tangem app, Tap Manage Coins, search for XLM and enable it.

    • @cyberscrilla
      @cyberscrilla  2 місяці тому

      NFC is generally considered more secure for short-range transactions due to its limited range.
      Bluetooth, on the other hand, can operate over longer distances, which could potentially increase its vulnerability to certain types of attacks if not properly secured.
      However, both can be secure when implemented correctly with encryption and authentication measures.

      I destroyed my Keystone 3 Pro with a hammer on purpose. I couldn't charge the battery past 9% or get the new firmware update unless the keystone had at least 20%. If I unplugged the device from the charger it would go completely dead. Upon reset, the device bricked making it a $120 paper weight. I was able to get 100% charge for 2 cycles. I couldn't get in touch with customer service to resolve the issue. For this reason alone I don't like wallets with batteries. This was my experience and I've read others have had the same problem.
