The customer service of this company is terrible. I notified them immediately when the email invoice said something different than the website order with a picture of the black cards and they are ignoring this information committing to not giving me a refund or return label
You must use the card either way. Seedless option = Only your cards are the backup. Meaning if you lose all your cards before you’re able to transfer crypto to another wallet, you’d lose all your crypto. Seed option: Your cards still store the private key, but you also write down the seed phrase allowing you to recover your crypto anytime on any device, even if you lose your cards. Both ways still require you scan your card to approve transactions.

@@tayloreaves5658 Yes, you’d still be able to get your crypto off the wallet. Quick note: if you choose the seedless option, only a private key is generated and stored on the card permanently. Question! How much (percentage) crypto from exchanges do you put into your cold wallets? If I transfer 100% of my Bitcoin from Coinbase to my cold wallet then my Coinbase account says I have $0 in Bitcoin in th Coinbase account. Will Coinbase close my account if none of my crypto is in my Coinbase account? Or do you leave a little crypto on the exchange to keep it active and if it is hacked then you would not miss it?
I do not keep ANY crypto in my Coinbase account or any other CEX. It all goes to a cold wallet. To my knowledge Coinbase won’t close your account just because you don’t keep crypto in it. But they can close your account for several other reasons (even if you have crypto in it). Hence I don’t keep in crypto on centralized exchanges
Can you make a proper video showing how to sell crypto on the Tangem? People have made videos saying click the "Action" button but that button does not exist.
Hi there, can someone please explain if tangem is not connected to internet, the prices of assets on your phone are live and your phone is asking for updates????
All hardware wallets have to communicate with the internet. The Tangem app is on your phone and thus connected to the internet (this is the same as Ledger Live, Trezor Suite, etc). The important thing is that your private key is stored offline on the physical card, which is what makes it a secure (cold storage) wallet.
Thanks for this info! Any idea when the ability to generate/use multiple crypto wallet addresses and passphrases will actually be implemented? I’m looking to switch wallets and am very interested in Tangem but currently use another wallet with these features. I’m not willing to switch wallets until these features are available because I spread my holdings among various addresses and use various passphrases.

I just set up my Tangem, and I wasn’t asked for a seed phrase. Just a numeric four digit password. I also am wondering why after transferring from my crypto platform to my wallet, why my account doesn’t increase or decrease as my coins go up and down.
You have to select other options during setup, then select the seed phrase option. I show you how in this video: ua-cam.com/video/LdlmHR120e8/v-deo.htmlsi=l4IQdAJd6ZbbUXzZ Unfortunately if you’ve transferred crypto to it it’s too late. Unless you transfer your crypto to another wallet, then factory reset your cards, and set them up again using the seed phrase. Not sure what you mean by “my account doesn’t increase or decrease”?
@@cyberscrilla Thank you for a quick reply. Here’s an example of the second part: I transferred JUP to my tangem wallet. As the price of JUP increases or decreases, it doesn’t show up in my wallet. Only if I transfer the coins back to my crypto platform.

Hi there was a guy that buy it from Amazon and it can hack do you think it possible it was Tangem 2.0 I buy from Amazon the classic wallet and it been a year very good no hacking problem do you think it safe or maybe is the seed phrase came hack
And I been hearing that some people card the chip no longer works do you think is possible or they laying about the chip is 25 years warranty my is the classic wallet and it’s doing fine I buy it 9 months ago
Tech products have defects. It’s normal. To my knowledge, defective chips in these cards are few and far between though. The cases I’ve seen they arrive faulty. I haven’t seen a case where one has failed after having been used for a while.
In general, I NEVER recommend buying a wallet from Amazon. Especially if you can get it from the manufacturer’s website. With Tangem, it’s “safer” because it can’t be counterfeited and the app verifies its authenticity during setup. Plus, Tangem is cheaper on their website (if you use a discount code)
IF Tangem is your dedicated cold storage wallet, I wouldn’t connect it to any dapp. Besides, Tangem will soon have live market data in the app so you likely won’t need to use Coinstats.

No seed phrase is generated. A seed phrase is derived from the private key.
It’s more of a technicality, but I just thought I’d let you know.
ALSO, you say you’re a beginner. There is no better wallet than in my experience.
Thnx for the video
I have a question
What if i lost the cards but i have 12 seed phrases???
Then you’re fine. You can import your seed phrase into any wallet to regain access to your funds. That’s why I prefer using the seed phrase option
@cyberscrilla thnx for the reply can u do a tutorial for us wud be great
Here is my tutorial. I show how to choose the seed phrase option:

Just had my Coinbase temporarily disabled for 48 hrs as things were getting crazy. Are they stealing?
Idk.. I avoid Coinbase at all costs personally.
Hi Bro i like to see the CKB Nervos coine on My Tangam Wallet and to have My Tangem Pay Card Im Very Interested

Can you make a proper video showing how to sell crypto on the Tangem? People have made videos saying click the "Action" button but that button does not exist.
Will do!
I can't receive or swap tokens. I get an error code and try again Later message. For two days now.
Once I got a 2200 error code.
Try updating the app or resetting your phone. It should be fine now
Hi there, can someone please explain if tangem is not connected to internet, the prices of assets on your phone are live and your phone is asking for updates????
All hardware wallets have to communicate with the internet.
The Tangem app is on your phone and thus connected to the internet (this is the same as Ledger Live, Trezor Suite, etc).
The important thing is that your private key is stored offline on the physical card, which is what makes it a secure (cold storage) wallet.
have you tried BC Vault? If you have, what do you think in comparison to Tangem
Yes. Two completely different wallets. Tangem is best for beginners. BCVault id only recommended to advanced users
My question ❓
I lost my both tangem card can I recover fund with my own seed phrase.
Yes, as long as you have your seed phrase you can recover your funds using practically any wallet that supports your assets.
I don’t have exact dates. If I had to guess, I’d say Q2-Q3. I’ll definitely keep everyone posted as these major updates rollout 👍

Can you help explain a step by step guide how to stake Matic on Wallet connect? Also given the validator commission how can someone assess whether it's worthwhile to do so? i.e suggested to stake a minimum of X Matic before it being worth while doing this.
Just wait native staking via the Tangem app to come out. Should be here soon.
For the next video: which coins will give me the option to stake on Tangem? 🇩🇰💵
I covered which coins they are prioritizing staking for in this video
Great Video CS and I have two questions and that is you say that I can just import my 24 word seed phrase from my Ledger and im guessing that I don’t need im Ledger even on at the time and dose Tangem support XRP and XLM and Algorand Thanks
Yes you can import the 24 word phrase from your ledger wallet. And yes, Tangem supports XRP, XLM, and Algorand.
Will the app notify you when the update is ready, or do you have to keep checking playstore?
That’s up to you and your phone. My phone automatically updates my apps. You can change your settings to do the same I’m sure
Thanks for the breakdown video 🫡.
Looking forward to a video that shows how we can stake our crypto via the Tangem wallet. 😊
Thank you for that, concise and to the point. Regarding the VISA possibility in 2025, would this just be an app update on the smartphone or would a new Tangem card purchase be necessary?
Thanks in advance ;)
It’s an entirely new product.
Thanks for that.
I show you how in this video:
ua-cam.com/video/LdlmHR120e8/v-deo.htmlsi=l4IQdAJd6ZbbUXzZ
Unfortunately if you’ve transferred crypto to it it’s too late.
Unless you transfer your crypto to another wallet, then factory reset your cards, and set them up again using the seed phrase.
Not sure what you mean by “my account doesn’t increase or decrease”?
@@cyberscrilla
Thank you for a quick reply.
Here’s an example of the second part:
I transferred JUP to my tangem wallet. As the price of JUP increases or decreases, it doesn’t show up in my wallet.
Only if I transfer the coins back to my crypto platform.
How would you engrave one of those metal cards?
They come with engraving tools. Also, there’s one I have that comes with pre-cut metal letters you use. They are held in by a top plate and screws.
@@cyberscrilla
Ty very much.
My tandem has arrived but has no seals on the box?? Should I use it or send it back
Tangem doesn’t come with seals anymore. It’s good to go.
If I reset my wallet i will lost my funds?
If you have it setup as a seedless wallet (without a seed phrase), yes.
@@cyberscrilla my phone dont have nfc if i use 3rd party nfc apps will it be okay?
No. Your phone needs an NFC antenna to work with Tangem.
No, your phone needs NFC
Is it correct that unlike Ledger, to keep crypto safe you need to transfer it (for a fee) on a Tangem wallet?
I’m not sure what you mean.
Anytime you transfer crypto you have to pay a blockchain transaction fee, doesn’t matter which wallet you’re using.
Hi, Can you address the subject of multiple addresses not being available.
What do you want me to address? It’s not available and it will be soon according to Tangem. Anything else?
How can I add Tangem wallet on MetaMask or how can I sell a coin that is on Base network?
You can’t add tangem to MetaMask. And Tangem doesn’t support the base network yet.
I would like to see Theta and DigiByte added to the Tangem wallet!!!!!!
👍
Hi, they should ad more chains, eth it’s to expensive
They are adding numerous chains this year
desktop access would be nice.
Not going to happen anytime soon imo.
Most desktop devices don’t have NFC antennas which Tangem needs to function.
There are wallets similar to Tangem that are desktop compatible though, such as Cypherock.
Hi there was a guy that buy it from Amazon and it can hack do you think it possible it was Tangem 2.0 I buy from Amazon the classic wallet and it been a year very good no hacking problem do you think it safe or maybe is the seed phrase came hack
With Tangem, it’s likely safe. If you set it up using the official Tangem app and it was fake, the app would tell you.
I haven’t seen a case where one has failed after having been used for a while.
do I need to download a software update to enable the swap option? or is this done directly by the tangem team?
When passphrase ?
Any new features will come via a simple app update once it's released. Passphrase this year
Make a video on how to make one of your cards a separate wallet
You can’t do that. You need at least two cards to activate a wallet
Is it really safe to buy a Tangem wallet from Amazon? Would you?
In general, I NEVER recommend buying a wallet from Amazon. Especially if you can get it from the manufacturer’s website.
With Tangem, it’s “safer” because it can’t be counterfeited and the app verifies its authenticity during setup.
Plus, Tangem is cheaper on their website (if you use a discount code)
Can you please explain a little bit more in detail how passphrase works.
I explain it in this video:
ua-cam.com/video/00_cRGpKlng/v-deo.htmlsi=MgZGIFdBNch63kLz
Any idea when the 24 word seedphrase will be available?
Yep, just answered that in this video:

Is it ok to sync coinstats to tangem? Will they be able to hack in somehow i guess im askn
IF Tangem is your dedicated cold storage wallet, I wouldn’t connect it to any dapp.
Besides, Tangem will soon have live market data in the app so you likely won’t need to use Coinstats.
How to consolidate specific small utxos on tangem?
Good question
I bought Tangem but it won’t support Pulsechain!!
Always check those kinds of things before buying a wallet. Hopefully they will add support for pulsechain soon.
@@cyberscrilla Thanks for your quick reply. Pulsechain is seventh chain in under a year lots of my Hexican friends like your Tangem if you add PlS Tangem do real good!

I did buy another Tangem wallet so I can add the seed phrase to it. Will I be able to swap my coins from the existing wallet to the new one after I activate it.
Yes, you’ll have to transfer them. Which will incur a transfer fee. This is a blockchain fee, not a Tangem fee.
only see white color on website.. how can i choose a different color to buy? is black no longer available?>
Black will be back in stock soon. White is currently the only color
thank you so much.. definetly using your link .. could you please explain in baby terms a scenaraio where someone steals my cards and trries to use it to access my bitcoins? how am i protected?@@cyberscrilla
Is tangem quantum proof ?thanks
How would anyone know that? It’s just as secure as any other hardware wallet in terms of quantum computing.
Do you have to input your seed phrase in the app to use your wallet?
If importing a seed phrase, yes. It’s not stored in the app or on your phone though. It’s temporary just to activate the cards
Very good information thanks
Thanks for watching!
