I think the HP4 would smoke the S1000RR in a drag race because the HP4 has light weight wheels, better electronics and launch control. Stay tuned for a comparison video of my HP4 vs Panigale R!
Thanks for the compliment. If you have the stock Akrapovic exhaust on your HP4, you need to remove the catalytic converter which is inside the mid pipe. Most BMW dealers can order the HP4 Akrapovic mid pipe which doesn't have a catalytic converter and there's a user on the s1000rr forum named MBGH that sells them. Once you replace the mid pipe, you'll have increased HP and it will sound much better. Please let me know if this works for you.
Many Thanks! Most people don't respect the fast that I refuse to ride 'balls to the walls' on my expensive bikes. I still have fun riding at my pace and it feels great loading them into the Sprinter van unscathed. When does your HP4 arrive and did you purchase the 'competition edition'? Check out my walkaround video of my HP4 and let me know if you need website links to the parts I have on it.
Love your Panigale as well. I'm getting the Competition package, it should be here in a few more weeks. It was built on Nov.25th and the last I checked it was on its way here. I saw your walk around video as well. Really nice selection of parts. I already ordered a bunch (many similar).
I'd never heard of that exhaust and just Googled it. It looks nice but is it titanium? I hope so because the stock Akrapovic exhaust is full titanium. You don't need to replace the stock Akra, just get the cat free mid pipe and you'll have better sound and more HP. The only reason I installed the Brock's on my HP4 is because I already had it on my S1000RR and my buddy wanted to purchase my HP4 Akra. Otherwise, I would have purchased the cat-free mid pipe and installed it on my HP4.
I was gonna do that...but I don't think it will sound that much better. I don't know if your familiar with the race fit growler 2 exhaust. Im thinking of putting that on the hp4 with a pcv n a custom tun
Yes its a full titanium exhaust. Check out this video on youtube. Suzuki gsxr 1000 k8 racefit growler flyby. Its on a 2 lane highway best sound ever in my opinion.
Hey bro don't you think the DTC blinking all the time is wrong? I have an HP4 and does the same thing on sport mode...maybe it's just my imagination dunno if it's normal or something that should be checked...great riding bro like the style and the skills. Ride safe
Hi there, it's 'normal' for the DTC to be active and flash a lot when riding on the track in 'sport' mode. If you switch to 'race' or 'slick' mode, you wont see the DTC light flashing as much. I don't think there's an issue with your bike.
What was the deal with the Brock's exhaust falling apart at the end? That's the second time I've seen that. Also, you ever consider doing West Virginia's summit point, or Nj?
Hi Corey. I initially had the Brock's exhaust installed on my 2012 S1000RR. I put 10k miles on the exhaust and installed it onto my HP4 and logged another 8k miles. The exhaust had over 18k miles on it when it malfunctioned at the track. That happened on a Sunday, I called Brock on Monday and received a new exhaust canister on Tuesday. I returned the malfunctioned canister to Brock and didn't pay a dime, shipping was free too! That's fantastic customer service and I will continue supporting Brock's exhaust.
That's great customer service! I live about an hour from Millville, NJ so ill definitely be visiting Thunderbolt this year. Id like to hit up Summit Point, WV also. Keep me posted on when you decide to do a track day, I've been trying to get a small group together....
I've been to Roebling Road a few years ago when I was racing with WERA, and it rained the whole weekend so I didn't even turn 1 a lap. Track looks amazing though, high speed which I like. Whats the date for the double R fest?
You have redeemed your respect lol but the voice and choice of "sprinkled " words is still annoying nonetheless cool track day you did pretty well for a big dude...

Indeed I will. This was my 1st track day on the HP4 and I will continue to improve.
Video is up, you rode it well!
Nice! Looks like that race track is closer to me than Mid-Ohio. I might have to kick it there instead. It's probably not as sick as mid-ohio though.
LOL! Thanks man, glad you enjoyed it. Maybe I will seek employment with BMW, LOL.
I wish my hp4 sounded like that...that exhaust is awesome. What setup does he have...I love your hp4 its beautiful.
1:13's are decent intermediate times on a bike you wouldn't want to wreck. Nice video. Can't wait until my HP4 gets here!

650ib I'm careful with my 2014 Comp on the track too. No way do I want to lay it down - parts are insanely expensive.

Nice video!!! No chicken strips on the supa corsa's....there was some supa leaning going on there....
Intermediate. The advanced group had riders working on their lap times and I didn't want to get in their way.
whats the s1000 like in a drag race with a hp4?
thanks for putting all the great stuff online
Let me know when you're going to Pitt Race.
LOL. Thank you Sir. I will try not to use the word 'sprinkled' in future videos :-)
Lol...the motor is strong and running well!
I was gonna do that...but I don't think it will sound that much better. I don't know if your familiar with the race fit growler 2 exhaust. Im thinking of putting that on the hp4 with a pcv n a custom tun
Hey good video, I would like to get that clip of me cruising around the track for a few laps. Let me know of that's possible.
I was thinking of putting the racefit growler 2 full exhaust
Yes its a full titanium exhaust. Check out this video on youtube. Suzuki gsxr 1000 k8 racefit growler flyby. Its on a 2 lane highway best sound ever in my opinion.
Its like a wrx vs a sti!

Corey Warner Would you consider coming to Nate Kern's Double R fest in Savannah, GA? It's tons of fun!
Nate Kern blasting Roebling Road Raceway!
I've been to Roebling Road a few years ago when I was racing with WERA, and it rained the whole weekend so I didn't even turn 1 a lap. Track looks amazing though, high speed which I like. Whats the date for the double R fest?
What riding group is it ?
That motor sounds hurt.
GTA SAN ANDREAS, CJ?? Lol
