Thanks. How did it turn out. Just saw this so it's a bit late. Parts: 1 4x8 Plywood sheet 1/2" , (3) 1x4x6', 1 4x8 Foam Insulation Sheet. 3/4" pan head wood screws, 1 fan motor, and 2-3 tubes of silicone/latex sealant. Hope this helps!
Hey, that looks great, exactly what I am looking to do, with a few modifications, im probably going to put a door on the side instead of the end. Was wondering if you have a parts list somewhere, or if you could post it. Thanks a lot.
Why didn't he find a cheap chess freezer on craigslist and turn it in to a refrigerator using a temperature controller? Seems like that would have been easier and cheaper! Plus you could use it as a kegerator or a FREEZER.
Jack Megaro - Agreed. Lot of damn work and expense instead of using a chest freezer. And you dont have to worry about a chest freezer falling apart if you have to move it for some reason. The only time it makes sense to reinvent the wheel is if the wheel doesnt work, then you make it better and stronger, not weaker...
Awesome just got the stuff to do this to my full size up right freezer!

Chest freezer the space is limited to the size of it. This design, you can make the space bigger if you wanted to, so you can hold more.
