I just realized that the sound for this video for some reason turned out super terribly!?! I'm so sorry! I have no idea what happened, hopefully it doesn't ruin your ears too too much 🥲

Thanks for the video Yeonni! Right now, I'm in the process of applying (and have applied) to MSW programs in Canada. I'm currently working in a hospital to gain experience with interacting with patients/different communities. Coming from a sociology/equity studies background, it's hard to grasp what my career with look like, but I want to try pursuing Social Work. I found your channel to be really insightful and your emphasis on care is something I value as well. Keep up your great work and thank you always for your reminders on taking care of ourselves/communities!

I'm not a social worker, but I work in healthcare and have learned so much from your channel. A lot of social work skills is definitely applicable to the job I do.

Hi Hiyeonni found your journey super inspiring I’m a psychology undergraduate in my final year, I’m looking to apply for masters now, I have actually gone through all of your videos and have wondered what’s the proportion of practical resourcing vs therapy is like being a social worker/therapist? As from what I learnt is that, you played both roles in one job, I wish to know is the ratio like 80:20? Thanks love you❤️

Thank you for all the information, Yeonni! I’m currently in the first year of my BSW program & so far I LOVE it!! I’ve had doubts in the past, worrying that this is not the right field for me…but your videos motivate me & make me realize this is a field I am passionate about. Thank you!!

Thank you so much for your videos!
I’m debating about getting an associates degree in IT at a community college then working in tech having a steady job with basically no debt- but I really like the of helping others and learning how to help myself better so I’m considering going towards a BSW instead- I’m just worried about the debt and if I’d get a job that would be able to pay back the debt-
