I’ve built a couple! I use a can opener to remove the bottom of the can. Works great!

Instead of oil on the neck you could have used the juice off of wire wool soaked in vinegar. Leave overnight before use.

How do you get the internal wood/body to stick in place? I’m just pondering before I start my oil can bass build. Also how do you get the cut off end to go back on…solder? I’m thinking of a brass hinge and cupboard door magnet set up.
