Hello! Welcome to my first documentary on Mario Kart Wii, for my standards I think this video turned out relatively well. This took about 3 weeks to put together with editing and reaching out to other players. Super pumped to get it done.

What are you talking about, he still completely butchered the French and other European language names.
I dont personally hold it against them since its impossible for Americans or native English speakers in general to get French, or any Germanic language, correct. You need to learn to pronounce those sounds as a child to be able to do it. I just want to officially protest against your claim he did pronounce them correctly, because he did not.
I love that you did not only use this to (deservedly) brag about your own achievement, but also gave a spotlight to the other games and their communities. Congrats on pulling it off!
He has cemented himself into MKW folklore as the first, and yet maybe only player to ever achieve the god standard in its history. I think the entire community tips its collective hat off to you as appreciation of such an achievement.

Some of those final standards were times that took very skilled players/track specialists months (or more) to achieve, yet you banged them out in mere hours/days. Real GOAT shit (irrespective of your WR history). Congrats on the milestone, hope this video pops off for you and sheds even some light to other speedrun communities on how good you are and how skilled top MK players are at gaming in general🤞
Its funny to see a guy complain it took him hours to get a world record when world records in popular, old, hunted games like MKW are generally insane and can take top competitors weeks or months to grind.

Got recommended this after rewatching NMeade's TT lounge series (which gave me some better perspective on the 3 lap times). Amazing job, building this kind of diverse skillset in a game is super impressive. Bit of a shame top players have to make their own documentaries, but you did a great job with that as well, especially doing a full series recap of the concept instead of a quick explanation which would've sufficed but provide less insight/impact towards this achievement. Can't even imagine how many hours went in to everything related to this video.
Ya know, this video made me realize the luxury that is not having to sit and wait for lap attempts in CTR. I have never liked having to do loops in some tracks to cause integer overflow for reserves, or have to drive around the track in general to be able to adequately do the lap, but god damn at least it is MORE engaging than waiting. Although that is neither here nor there, congratulations on this insane achievement! You truly are the goat, and even the goat shepherd who owns that entire goat farm where that goat resides. It's inspiring

Dude congrats on being the first MKWii God!!! That's insane
This video was absolutely incredible. The plot twist at the start that it was your journey to perfect MKW was really cool and got me hype! I got really invested in the journey as I watched along. And one line you said really stood out to me in the Peach Beach 3-lap attempt at 47:07. “How do you overcome it? Just the same old fails over and over again. But you just have to keep pushing through.” I’m a new MKSC player, and I’ve been trying to tie WRs and get god times as well. I’d only gotten like 3 WRs in when my Lakeside Park sc flap was beaten by the legendary iMathII within 15 minutes. It had taken me 5 days to get the tie and the bar moved, and it was so difficult that I began to doubt I could get a 2 millisecond improvement or tie. It’s hard when you fail so many times and begin to doubt your ability to do it at all, but your words really inspired me, as did your journey! If I don’t let the failures dissuade me, if I keep striving for improvement and keep pushing through, then maybe I could (for those tracks within my skill level) achieve the time too! And maybe if I got better, I could expend that too! It was just really inspiring to me and gave me the motivation to keep trying. Congratulations dude, what an achievement. You really deserve it!!

Awesome video Logan! Man, I have a lot to say about this. First of all, the editing in this video was amazing. You could've just showed all your runs, but you instead showed your fails and your reactions. I also really appreciated the explanations you gave for each of the categories, as it is helpful for less experienced players to understand all the components of a run. Also, thanks for going over the godsheet for other games as well. It really helps people not only understand what the godsheet is, but also to know just how rare getting this is.

I was the person who came up with the “rules” for what was short cut and non shortcut on MkSC as the game was so broken we originally couldn’t get a non sc timesheet together.

This was incredible!!! I was viewing for a good part of the end and was cheering you on, and this video put it concisely but still into scale a lot better than just tuning into stream sometimes. Really appreciated the highlight on the other games too, to show how significant the God standard really is to every game (except MK8 lmao)

17:15 As a Mario Kart 7 player I'll clear this up, glitch-only charts have been introduced late into the game's lifespan and don't have overall rankings, but they are currently in the process of being turned into unrestricted standards and overall unrestricted rankings will follow. The reason why jack's Shy Guy Bazaar time isn't glowing is because it's no glitch and combined charts don't exist yet (glitch times link to glitch-only charts). Also that statement about the emphasis being on online isn't true at all, just last month we had 24 WRs which is a lot more than any other game bar MK8DX. This is quite sad because it was a good opportunity for the game's competitive scene to get some visibility but you had to badmouth it instead of reaching out to a community member like you did for the other games. Congrats on the achievement though, I'm getting there myself someday hopefully 🐉
