Metadata information such as track, artist, and album name can be displayed. Song, artist, time and album information are beautifully displayed on the 6.2 touchscreen. The system's wired USB connection provides direct digital signal transfer from the device for clean, clear sound while providing 1 amp of current to keep your iPod/iPhone charged.

Disconnect the negative, not the positive. Also when using butt connectors, it’s best to fold a quarter of the end of the exposed wire into the terminal for a more snug connection! Great video otherwise tho!

personally though i usually solder my connections, takes more time but its more fool proof if i install too rough.
I bought a radio, not knowing it uses wires to connect the steering wheel controls, how would I wire that up with the rp5 gm11
I want to put an aftermarket radio in my 2004 Chevy Impala SS, and the problem I see most people have is that the stock radio also functions as the onboard computer to reset the oil change. Would running this interface help with that issue?

i have a rp5 gm11 but its smaller and black. It also doesnt work. the reverse trigger wire always has voltage on it forcing the alpine to display the rear camera. Crutchfield is sending me a new one. I assume the black on is a newer unit
good vidio. My problem is I have the RP5-GM11 for 04 envoy. My new radio is a Boss audio which has no where to plug in the steering wheel input on the back of the radio. Acording to Crutchfeil who sells Boss this harness should have worked. any ideas. This factory radio is not bose, just factory GMC.
I have a 2005 Colorado, i did the harness but i dont have the module, and i dont have power to my aftermarket radio “DUAL”

Why my pioneer keep turning off when I turn the volume up?
I wired it exactly like you did but my head unit turns on super dim and then shuts off after 5 seconds
ehh... still doesnt show on the pac modular how to use steering wheel controls. mine is a pioneer and have to hook up to a computer to set controls

On my after market radio I have a 12volt wire that didn't come with the radio but when I splice it to my 12v cigarette lighter it messes with the gauges and turns on my anti theft system if I use the pac for my car model should it fix that issue

O and if u ground that pink wire to the back of the head unit u can use DVD as u drive just saying
Used this same harness on my 03 Sierra and it cause my fuel gauge and oil pressure gauge to quit working
Honestly it's probably the cluster itself. Gm clusters have that problem

Do you have Bose amp or non Bose amp? You have to put the thing in the correct hole on the unit itself
