Thank you. It would be helpful if you could please explain which way to angle the fingers as you cut and when to over-direct, when to cut parallel to the skull, etc..
I’ve just purchased two of your courses on udemy having got this far in your UA-cam series, absolutely loving your videos. You explain everything so clearly, can’t wait to get started on the courses 👏🏼👏🏼

Question friend, the texturizing razor can be replaced by thinning scissors, maybe, I think that way you can remove a little weight or volume from the hair so that it is light and with successful movement.
Thank you for the video. I'm a bit of a novice and I'm curious... what is the reason behind cutting horizontal sections? Why not do just vertical sections? Thanks!
Two reasons. The vertical sections are a way to take the hair down to a manageable length. Then the horizontal sections can be used to check for imperfections also known as cross checking, or they can be used to reduce length further but in a more refined way as there is not as much hair to deal with.
Hallo saya dari indonesia, saya sangat terpukau dengan cara dan hasil memotong rambut anda, andai kamu tinggal di indonesia pasti subriber kamu akan 100M, thanks you profesioanl
WHQ. You started the top (on the first side), how did you determine where the first section would be? Also, how did you know you were pulling each subsequent section to the bottom fact same spot and not some point just before?
The reference section is something I've used many times, it has to start behind the ear, the further back it is then the more exaggerated the overdirection/graduation by the time you reach the front. Regarding how far back to pull it, the reference section is the length you want so that has to be pulled out and the hair from the front pulled back to it. The reference section needs to be visible as a cutting guide. I'll try and make that clearer on video the next time I do a cut like this.

The course is three hours beginners course designed to build up complete beginners. You can find specific videos on my channel that come with a high level of detail and explanation but it is in a random order.
It really just depends on where you go with the diagonal section. Are you going to overdirect it in a certain direction? How is it joining to its neighbouring section etc.... Does it progressively get longer/shorter
@@theoneminutebarber thank you for getting back unfortunately that’s too short I am more like Johnny Depp hair style without so long on the front maybe just to the eyebrows do you think I could use the Johnny Depp video method ? Or is that impossible and is there anything suggestion to make it easier or less to do?
The shortest hair I can see along the spine of the comb is the guide. That is how short I cut it when debulking so anything slightly longer than the shortest point needs to be matched to the shortest point

I’ve never seen that technique you used in the top. Pretty simple and effective. Will definitely use it at the shop, thank you!
You are so welcome! And thanks for tuning in.
Stellar work once again! Using the razor can take things too far in the wrong direction quick but you did the perfect amount. Great job!
Thank you and yes the razor can take a haircut south real quick if you get carried away 😬
Incredible content as always mate 👏 love the efforts made in the editing process

I cut my own hair and this is very helpful. It's a bit of a challenge to self cut using this method, especially the back
I wouldn’t attempt this on myself. I understand what you mean the back is extremely difficult using this method
@@theoneminutebarber do you think it would still look good if I bought a 3 inch clipper attachment and used that for the sides and back?
Great job as always!!
Muy buena técnica ya la he aplicado , gracias!
剪发的教程真是太完美了,要是这边的理发师能有你一半的技术就好了,每次去理发店剪得都很难看
Question friend, the texturizing razor can be replaced by thinning scissors, maybe, I think that way you can remove a little weight or volume from the hair so that it is light and with successful movement.

You can use the thinning Scissor too. But I would lift the sections up at 90 degrees to the head and cut twice, on the end third and the tips.
Superb haircuting, and stylish effect.
AWESOME JOB!
