- This tent could be a VERY big deal for the outdoor community!
A Budget Friendly 4 Season Tent!
What I have today is one of 3 new 4 season tents from OneTigris which they are referring to as the Black Tigris Series. The tagline for this series says Experience the Mystery, Embrace the Comfort.
I have no clue what Experience the Mystery means but anyways, as soon as I saw that these tents hit the market, I was VERY interested!
Not only do these tents look awesome in terms of design and functionality but their prices are very fair if they perform as well as I hope they do.
This is the Cometa Tent from OneTigris!

I bought this tent off your review! I'm over in the uk and bought it for my North Wales motocamping trip ! I must admit, out off all the tent I've purchased, I must say this was the lightest and easier tent to put up, I mostly used the side entrance, loads of room, bought the optional poles for the canopy, I kept the guidelines taught throughout my trip and didn't see any sagging, very good buy and looking forward to using again ! It did rain through my trip, obviously because it was Wales. ! Kept me dry, no leaks !!!!!
Don’t normally get excited about a tent but this one looks awesome! Looking forward to your further reviews of it!
The perfect pack size for motorcycle adventures. Thanks for reviewing this!
This is honestly the first tent I've seen you review that I've been truly excited about. I'm looking forward to a rain test and might get one myself even!
The only issue I see is black and summer dont match up
I've been looking for a good Motorcycle tent since I can't quite strap my +55lbs Gazelle T4+ to my bike. (easily)
That is a very nice looking tent! I really hope it performs as good as it looks. Looking forward to the next review of this tent. Cheers
As far as i know or seen the tent design comes from a Norwegian outdoors company called Helsport, their tent is called the fonnfjell superlight and weighs only 2 kg
Thanks for this, had no idea Onetigris had released new tents. This model (Cometa) looks a lot like one of my dream tents, the Helsport Fonnfjell Superlight 2, but twice as heavy at 1/3 of the price. Looking forward to more videos about this tent! If the quality is good this will be my next glamping tent.
Thx for some great reviews!
Another good review; you keep tent companies on the run! Can't wait to see the full review,Thanks
the most exciting product video you have released for a long time Luke! This could be a major game-changer for the industry and consumer. I am seeing this and even more excitingly the Stella too, 4 season tents at fantastic prices, made with what looks like premium materials and great workmanship! The Stella weighs less than the Naturehike CloudUp 2!
Very tempted to pull the trigger now, on both!
Very interested in this tent. Looking forward to the upcoming reviews especially the rain resistance. If it passes your real life rain test I will buy it. Appears to be very well designed. Love your channel too! Great job!
Good to see OneTigris bringing good products to the market at as good price, I live in a 2-season country (rain/dry), but I hope the review goes well!
I am excited to see this tent preform. I hope it is what it says it is. I live in the upper peninsula of Michigan and winter is brutal. I would love to be able to extend my camping into the winter, but with the prices of a true four season tent is out of my budget. Fingers are crossed this kicks butt. Thank you Luke for all you do for our outdoor community.
I am a troll under the bridge ha ha! I was looking for a tent to use in the UP as well!!!
@@stizzlesteak atleast you said I didn't have to 😂. We still have winter here that is why I need a great tent for a good price. All kidding aside enjoy the u.p.
For the first time in years I'm impressed with a tent. Outstanding looking forward to the rain test.
Excited for your testing of the Cometa! This would be a tent I would buy, if it passes rain and wind test. Love the mesh and awning.
I'm really looking forward to your future reviews on this and the other 2 tents . Can't wait. Fingers crossed that they're home runs . Thank you .
Thank you for sharing these reviews. As we get older we have purchased a RV but in my younger days this Tent would have been phenomenal.
This looks interesting, love the design. Curious to see how it performs in rough weather. Thanks Luke, God Bless you, Strength and honor!
Very impressed so far, can't wait for the testing. Cheers 🇨🇦
one more time, thanks for your honesty. We all know that you are objective and that's rare.
I sorta tent in my truck canopy, but this tent is without a back up for me. In Canada the weather can be brutal...thank you so much for your work...be safe.
For me, a convertible four season tent is a win. Being able to open up for venting or sealing up completely for harsher conditions isn't always done well and this looks like they took that into consideration. Thanks for the review, I'll likely be checking this out for myself.
Yes. My old convertible North Face sets up in three configurations, and can be set up from the outside in or inside out. Love it.
The music in the intro and at the end of your videos is awesome!
One of the first things I do when I buy a tent is exchange the pulls on my stakes with para cord an ss tie them myself. Never have a issue with them coming undone
Love it❤
Im so glad one Tigris Made them in black 👍
I will buy all of them 👍
Multicam/Operation camo/Pencot Wildwood would also be great tent colors
I'm Stoked....really like the design !!!...... I live in New England and the Black outer shell makes for warmer sleeping in the fall and winter outings !!!,,,,,love the inside space too !!
Thanks for reviewing this. I knew this video was coming and waited patiently. However, I don't think I'm patient enough to see the testing lol. I've already made my purchase from One Tigris. Thank you Luke. Be safe out there
All looks good. Glad you tightened the inner tent. Take care.
Interesting. Has some pretty unique features. I have high hopes for it. This might end up in my collection, at some point. Let the TESTING BEGIN!!! THANKS Luke.
I like that it’s 4 season. The inner mesh door is a win! Looks like it has some good space. Looking forward to the rain test!
I love the bucket floors we do a lot of. Man carrying out backpacking but when it rains it storms and they are the best the bucket tents
What a great tent! I’m looking forward to seeing your testing.
Can’t wait to see how the tent does in the weather! That is a really cool tent at a great price
Onetigris really does do a lot of quality work and is becoming a giant name in the outdoor community
Not really. They make cheaply made products for low budgets. Nothing about their products is exceptional.
They usually manage to have a good balance of price and quality, but that's about it.
You’re contradicting yourself don’t call them cheap then go on to say they maintain a good balance in quality and cost. Are they good or are they not?
So, I am liking this one so far !! Cant wait to see the review !!
That is a beautiful tent, my god. I'll wait for the rest of the testing but for right now I will buy this tent.
Looks like a pretty nice tent. Looking forward to your rain test. I am a little leery about the top without a rain fly but I am sure you will put it through the paces.
Stay safe and God bless.
Most 4 season tents do not have rain fly's. Single wall is how most of them are. It makes them stronger with less fail points to be one piece and blocks wind more.
Thanks, Luke. As far as the tent goes for now, it looks awesome. Will be looking forward to your video on the rain test.
wow, very cool tent man...i'll be looking forward to your other videos on these!
Hello from Nottingham England !! Love your channel , really informative and interesting. Thank you , keep it up my friend. Cheers !!
I really like the design of this tent, big and open. Very nice and even I can afford it!! I can't wait for further testing, especially in the rain and wind.
This looks like an awesome tent. Love the design!
Looks great, thanks for being on top of testing, great job
So far I like what I see, looking forward to the testing phase, Peace.
HI LUKE 👋
LOVE THE DESIGN ! LIKE THE COLOR TOO . IN CASE YOU WANT TO SLEEP 💤 LATER , MAYBE . CAN'T WAIT TO SEE HOW IT HOLDS UP WITH YOUR TESTS & THE OTHER 2 NEW MODEL TENTS . BE SAFE ! HAVE FUN ! ENJOYED 🍨 🍨 🍨 🍨 🍨 🍨 🍨 🍨 🍨 🍨 GOD BLESS YOU ALL ALWAYS ON YOUR ADVENTURES 🙏 THANK YOU 🙏
What was old is new again.
I had an MSR tent, about 25 yrs ago, that was very much like that. It was a favorite tent. I gave it to a friend after switching to a hammock and tarp.
That looks like it would make a good tent for scouts. Weight isn’t an issue as we trailer our gear for most campouts. Looks easy to set up. Would be good for October to April camping in the Midwest. Looking forward to the next review.
I'm really liking this Luke can't wait to see how it holds up
Interesting tent. Luke, I would like to see you review more traditional, mid tier brand tents from the likes of MSR, Northface, BigAgnes, REI, Snowpeak, Nemo, Coleman etc. I like to see you calling out the garbage companies and exploring the low cost options. But also want to see review of stuff someone with a little more disposable income would like to invest in and use for the next 5-10 years. Just a thought. Others: like if you'd like to see this too.
I really hope it tests well, I'm liking the double doors.
That's a good-looking tent. Let's hope they've got the quality sorted. It will be interesting to see how it performed in the rain, but for now, I will stick with Gossamer 2 tent and Crua Modus with culla liner for cold weather.
I like the Russian Bear Tent...It's four seasons and has an opening on the top for a Wood Stove. It is also a camouflage color.
Love the colors 😍
I love that tent , thanks for sharing
Pretty cool. I've been wanting one of these tents. I have seen this design before, but it's not exactly. It's still pretty cool, though. I'll wait for your review. Thanks for everything you do, Luke.
You are the Man.
KEEP ADVENTURING
GOD BLESS YOU
🤗HUGS🤗
LMFAO That multicam markup is hilarious.
Beautiful ⛺ ❤ Thank you Hello to your Beautiful Family
Love this design for warm weather. Maybe experience the mystery refers to the open sided design which allows the user to more easily see and feel like they're not in an enclosed structure more open to environment and vice versa? I see you (nature), you see me!!
Jeepers, now even a week or so is a wait for this gem!
Ok...I am impressed..1st look...can't wait for the test...Plus price is good...👍😎👀
Very nice tent! Thank you...
Great looking tent and the price is unreal! Been looking at the Stella too. I won't make a final decision until you do your stringent 'in the field' testing but I think these could be game changing! I LOVE the black colour, great for the mountains and the white inner give it a classy finish. I'm sold!
I think the Nebula looks interesting. I’d like too see it first though!!!!! 😮😊❤🇬🇧
How black color is great for anything when it comes to tent?
@@1stRanger Many places I wild camp, it's illegal and so having this black tent, especially in some parts of the Pyrenees I wild camp, will hide very well in that Environment, in fact, most places! I've been shouting for someone to make black tents for years and now someone finally has! Once Luke gives this the full test and it passes, I'll be buying this and the Stella tent. Can't wait!
@@whatsnottohike Haha, I got it.
I'm not here to tell you that breaking the law is bad, so I won't do that. :D
I'm also pretty sure you know that being stealthy is a double sided coin.
@@1stRanger well, it's not illegal everywhere, just some places. But I just like the idea of a black tent, especially in the mountains. I'm waiting for the full test from Luke before I decide, especially the Stella. Have an awesome weekend! 🙂✌️🏕️
Exciting to see part 2 the rain test
I like it, will hold finale for your further tests
Not a bad price and I am sure a lot of people looking at winter camping would enjoy this tent. I still have plenty of time to wait before buying, looking forward to the review and test video.
I'm liking what I see and also dig the series name. Can't wait for the rain test on all three tents!!
for sure my next ( very soon) one..Thanks for the show
LOOKS GREAT
Hey Luke,,,,, I agree,,, Bring On the Rainstorms,,,!!!!!
Many thanks for doing these reviews Luke, I like the colour and the price to start with, this is a tent I will definitely be buying if it comes up trumps on your full testing.
Black is cool! I have been looking at a LOT of mountain top videos with the "F" and "H" brand tents. The aggressive bath tubs are a good thing! One guy had a river running through his tent because the storm changed from snow into rain. Because it was night and the high winds, all he and his dog could do was sit on the mat to stay dry. Also I am wanting to see the ventilation on this tent. At 65mph+ winds snow finds ways of getting in.
I saw that video! His dog is named Blue.
@@markthomas2436 That is the guy!
@@annettemalaski1967 I guess we all saw the same video hehehe!
WOW Great video! Thank you! 😀
"Black Tigris"
I like the branding-invites thoughts of Hilleberg's Black Label tents, without being as good, I'm sure, nor nearly as high of an investment.
I bought their smaller Tetra tipi after viewing your video. It works very well for what I want. Looks like after some misfires OneTigris is becoming a force in the tent market.
I enjoy your review one Tigris cometa 4-season Tent it looks awesome to use on a camping video love to see how it works Luke
That is a beautiful tent, hope it holds up to the elements
I have a simler desind tent. The Vango Delta 200 Alloy Tent is a front-and-side-entry tunnel tent which comes with two canopy poles to create a sheltered porch area
I've already decided to buy one for myself. I'd love to get the camo one, but will settle on the black one based on price. I like the style and the amount of room it has inside. I also like that awning very much. I'll bet that One Tigris has already done extensive testing to assure that it's waterproof. But I'm guessing.
I’d still treat it just in case
@@lavarstuff22 how do you treat it? Never done it.
Seem sealer I believe, but you may want to do some research on your own as I am not the most knowledgeable.
Licensed camo? Gimme a break, I have never seen that pattern before. Not worth the extra 4 bills!
@@spritsfal5088 So true on the additional cost but camo netting adds more weight in your pack which is a big negative. Weight is your enemy when your humping gear.
Looking forward to learning how it functions in wind, rain, wet snow. Price and features looks really appealing. :D
Nice tent and review. Looking forward to the rain test to determine if it's worth real consideration. Thanks Luke.
I'm very excited about this tent. If your testing goes well, I'll definitely be getting one of these.
Great review!
If the actual test/review goes well, I'm getting one.
I’m sure he’ll find something wrong with it
Beautiful looking tent.
Nice design and reasonable price. Excellent video.
Can't wait til next winter when you test it to see how it fairs!
Looks good. Seems well designed.
Looks and sounds good .
Oh, I want to try it out!!
I agree with Luke - this is a sweet tent! I'll keep watch out for the other tents in the Black Series!
Love the black walls. That’s good for sleeping.
Black makes sense for the 4th season (winter) as it will hopefully melt/shed snow quicker. With those 2 doors the venting should be good in warmer months too. The Baker awning is great... but my first thought was how much snow will be trapped near the top during a snow fall. I'm assuming you can just drop your polls or use shorter sticks so snow sheds off without stressing the tent where the awning meets the top part of tent. Looking forward to your follow up vids on this... Thanks, love your in depth reviews!
Looks awesome
Love the tent and your presentation!! Thanks! My wife and I are going to sell a really nice camper and I'll be camping with my son and soon to be Eagle Scout Grandson.
Loving this one...
Looking forward to seeing the test and how it holds up. I have slowly become a fan of their products slowly building up my camping gear.
I like the fact its black and the price is in the ball park of what I would spend.
I really like the design. I hope it passes the waterproof and condensation tests!
I would use this as a Base Camp as in Setting it up, go exploring for the day and return....I surely hope nothing fails. I love Black as well...
wow thats a great looking tent i would consider getting that as a replaysment for the 4 season tent i have now
OneTigris have another tent that opens on both sides and both ends. It’s the Outback Retreat. However it’s not to the same spec as this tent as it’s hydrostatic head is half the value of this tent. I look forward to your reviews as these new tents could be just what i need. Love your channel, keep up the good work.
I definitely want to see you test this tent out to the extreme 😊
