Unfortunately, until we make all homes including mobile homes meet the HVHZ building codes, we will face all this destruction whenever areas outside of South Florida are hit. We either pay for higher standards once, or we pay for lower standards every year.
Yeah. Sometimes that’s all you have. I’m in a mobile home in Bradenton too. I was lucky enough to have the money to rent a house in a safer area about 20 minutes away and come home to only minimal damage. Thank God.
