      This design is of Tony from @northwestrepair . I used his idea and modified it. The link to his video is below. He shows the diagram as well.

    You have always soooo much luck with your cards! In my case it´s always the VRAM chips ... the GPU ... or very difficult strange issues. Why I don´t get such cards???? 🙂

      I too get cards which have VRAM chips issue. And GPU core issue too. VRAM chips can be replaced and resolved. GPU core issue i also get these where core is dead and it's a NO FIX.

      @@GraphicsCardRepairs-tk7ql I believe you but in my case I do ONLY get difficult cards :-) My last card with a shorted e-cap is 2 years ago. What I get is always a horror story :-)

      @@GraphicsCardRepairs-tk7ql My last one was a RTX 3070. It was bent and underneath some VRAM chips and the GPU I had missing solder pads. It needed hours to replace the pads under the microscope. At the end the GPU was faulty... all the work for nothing. I have a R9 Fury here where I have to program the PWM chip ... I don´t have the infineon programmer and for just one card it´s too expensive ... and so on and so on... only problems 🙂

      @@ch.wey.4406 Just for one card it does not make sense to buy the programmer. It's too expensive for one card. I too skipped it for a long time. its only recently i purchased it after 5 years of doing repairs.

    how can u let card work so long with vcore without cooler?

    • @GraphicsCardRepairs-tk7ql
      @GraphicsCardRepairs-tk7ql  3 місяці тому

      If your refering to when the card is under the microscope then the card is idle so it does not heat up to need a cooler immediately. It is not that it is on all the time. I switch it on only when I am connecting the probe to test the voltage. If you are referring to when the card was on the test bench there was a alluminium block cooler attached to it. 😊
