Hey guys! Emily here... It's not deja vu! 🤔 The glitchy errors in this video were driving me crazy, so we decided to delete it and reupload it. This time, no weird skips and full 4K quality video! Yay! 😁😁 Anyway, we appreciate you guys and hope you enjoy it... PART 3 COMING UP SOON!!
Love the content.. On the silicone when your done put it in a freezer and it stays fresh a old man at a boat shop told me this and it 100% works for years
That’s funny , I kept watching and watching thinking man I was sure I seen this one but they just released it… lol finally come to comments and now I see lol you guys are great …
Those errors were really bugging me! Hopefully I can get the other videos fixed without reuploading like this. We appreciate your support, Andrew!! --Emily
Hello Hugh. I really like everything black also. We have this latest swap and it has a Interstate battery in it that is green and it drives me nuts. Jerry
Hello Sam. Your the first person to catch that. We are only expecting this intake to be on there for no more than 3 or 4 months, so I wasn't concerned with them leaking in the future. I would normally have used liquid teflon sealant or some ultra black on the threads. Great question. Thanks for watching. Jerry
Hey Mendoza! It looks like there are a lot of different names for them... SBC intake adapter bushings, wedge washers, etc. Here's a link to the ones we used in this video. www.summitracing.com/parts/pfs-52110 Thanks for tuning in!
🤣🤣 I knew someone would catch it before I could comment... I was able to reupload this one without all the goofy errors! Glad you're looking out for us! But I haven't completely lost my mind yet... It's around here somewhere. 🤣 Thanks Jon!
Correct. There really was no need for it with the surfaces being as good as they were. If I hadn't put any on I would have gotten numerous comments asking why I did not so I just opted to put as little on as I could. We appreciate you watching. Jerry and Emily
The new TBI intake manifold in 87 was the first aluminum design. It dissipated heat too fast so in order to keep heat, a cast passage went around the plenum of the tbi for coolant to warm the charge. Very cool technology back then 🤗

Hi Alonso!
working on my first sbc 350. this is all very helpful. I’m curious why no thread sealant on the manifold through bolts?

The real question is, how many corns are in a corn dodger? 🌽
Hey Randy. Never had a corn dodger. Sounds delicious though. Jerry
Should I call or text when it’s a goof?

Love your content but I have to say I don't agree with all that silicone around the intake ports.
Around the water ports sure and at the china rails.
