The Rocky Horror Picture Show was the original cult film that ran every Friday and Saturday at midnight (I have seen the film over 150 times). IMO you should have started with the song “Time Warp”. It would have been a better introduction to the film. But if you ever get to see a midnight showing with a cast acting in front of the screen and the crowd throwing out (extra) lines with the movie, jump at the chance. It really is a wonderful experience.

I was absolutely cracking up at your facial expressions throughout this whole thing. This movie really is a bit out there, but I personally absolutely love it. Tim Curry especially (and yes, he played the original Pennywise, as well as the butler from Clue... and so many other wonderful things.) He's an outstanding actor, and was absolutely perfect in this role. I have always envied the way he could strut in platform heels better than most women. I actually came over to this video after getting the notification that you did Time Warp (technology is really slow in my house right now), thinking that you needed to see Sweet Transvestite, if only to see how utterly talented Tim Curry is. Tim curry was 29 when he played this role. But he performed on the London stages doing this role before it became a movie. You can still find this being performed on stage today. The following on not only the movie but the play is astounding. Tim really put his all into the role and it really is a good movie to watch.

I went and watched this back in the mid 70"s and it was wild. The audience throwing toilet paper at screen, lighting lighters(The whole audience and everyone dancing and singing along with it. If you ever get a chance to see on the big screen during a midnight showing you should go. Oh you need to see the part where Meatloaf sings his song in it.

For 2 nights we used lights to attract and catch moths. Letting them loose in the theater almost blocked the projector, but we were dismayed because we REALLY wanted to catch bats for the show. Maybe this will inspire the next generation of horror-seeking souls out there.

This was one of Tim Curry's early starring roles, and in my opinion, one of his _BEST_ roles. And yes, he played Pennywise in the first "It" movie, never watched Home Alone.
The name of the actress that was escaping your lips is Susan Sarandon. I could be wrong, but I think this is also one of her first "major" roles as well.
"Clark Kent" is played by Barry Bostwick.

I have to loved this reaction 😂😂😂😂😂😂 I loved Rocky horror picture show as a kid - it was years ago. And this sounds mad but I’m a very unique person and what I did on my hen do was wanted to go to theatre 🎭 and if you look it up on theatre people who go they dress up….if you don’t your like left out. So ye on my hen do we did cocktails and mock tails (as I don’t drink) and dance to learn rocky horror (in costume) and then we went to see rocky horror in theatre and my mates a lot of then went dressed up for me and never seen it and they thought it was crazy but didn’t wanna leave they loved it

Honestly, based on that reaction I'm guessing Rocky Horror is something you'd never seek out and go to on your own, but, I'm also betting based on that reaction that you'd really enjoy going to a midnight showing of it with full audience participation. It seems like it's outside of your comfort zone but also a great way to broaden those horizons a little bit, which is true of a lot of people and part of why the show has been so popular for so long.
