Nice discussion! Regarding planters: they will *not* prevent Siege golem stone from being placed (although they did pre-Gloomrot, hehe). Their main purpose nowadays is to prevent trees & mineral veins from spawning, while also saving precious "tile-estate" for those squares! Now, negating trees & veins has a two-fold utility: not only does it deny any "shade protection" from your opponents during daytime (greatly increasing the chance of them dying from sun burn!), but it also denies them the ability to hide behind these obstacles and LoS your projectiles as defenders (Chaos Volley, Crossbow, Pistols, Spear hits, Lightweaver & Cleric projectiles, etc.).

As a former hardcore shard holder, I love these kinda vids :) but I think that they will update the cave passages. Playing squads servers with 1-2 hearts allowed per clan we always got the silverlight main farm spot where you easily farm the main city and are near to gloomrot. I hope they will clarify about the move the base before the release, but what I experienced is like people using farbane to farm until T2 and then directly block the endgame base
Yeah I'm not totally sure what the cave situation will be, but I also hope they change them up again. I also think that they should allow frog form to jump up to cave exits, and if they need to make it so you can do that with siege golem stones etc, that's fine.
