      +peffiSC2source I'd guess higher. I'm around 1700 and I wouldn't be a good hustler at all. You can be 1700 and have extremely little theoretical knowledge.

      Bruh it's fine really, Just chill. Using engines or cheating in tournamnet is wrong, but everybody was having fun there. I wouldn't try this on stranger first time I play them, But it's not sth to be pissed about or hate someone for. Pretty slick if you ask me.

    • @pcbacklash_3261
      @pcbacklash_3261 3 роки тому +37

      @@amitbhattrai7038 No, it's NOT fine. Cheating is the ethical shortcut of scammers, losers and the morally deficient. It's basically stealing, but on a smaller scale.

    • @amitbhattrai7038
      @amitbhattrai7038 3 роки тому +7

      I don't like the fact that he tried that on a stranger, but you're clearly overreacting. You can't say that man is a "scammer/loser/morally deficient" person because of this incident. If you're connecting this with online cheating, they're two different things. Also if money was on line, this would be very unethical, but it seemed like a friendly game. But I will say it again, doing it to a stranger is probably pushing it a bit far.

    Had the pleasure of playing Maurice back in the early eighties, and he could trash talk with the best of them in blitz. In blitz he was seeing the entire plan of a game while we were seeing just a move or two.
    A total gentleman in a tournament game. I'll never forget at the Kingsmen chess club they had a tournament, and Maurice was in it. In our game I forgot to hit my clock twice, and he brought it to my attention by extending his open palm toward my clock.

    I watch this video every so often and I just replayed the ending from 4:12 on and its so wholesome. The hustler is extremely impressed and shocked, motioning to his buddys like ''who the hell is this guy, he just beat me with ease and talked the talk at the same time'' And then he finds out Maurice is a GM and almost seems elated to have played a game (you can see it in his smile)
    At the same time maurice is humble but with a devious smile (expecially the chuckle when the bystander reveals his status/rating as a grandmaster)

  • @MegaCon12

    I love seeing the hustler desperately trying to distract the GM from the game by saying all kinds of stuff. Like, really :"Remember what I say!", Maurice asks him :"What?, that dude is like:" What I said was: Aaaaaaa." Brilliant! :)
