When I first started color grading raw files I was super intimidated. I would see people using the same camera as me but their footage looked amazing while mine looked like it was shot on a potato. Luts can't save terrible footage but if you learn how to expose your footage properly luts can take your footage to another level and save you hours.

Hope you had a great time in Mexico man! The footage looks great! I use the Neutral about 90% of the time!
Thanks so much man ! It was a great time away and fun. I can totally see why you use the neutral most of the time.
Footage looks incredible, did you do much tweaking? or just slapped on the lut?
Thanks so much ! I’m a few of the clips I brought down my highlights but other than that just applied the luts
Wow. How is your workflow using these? I tend to work in a color managed setting, so not sure how I should use these..
What lens do you use? and do you use a pro mist filter? Thanks! Amazing work!
Hey man for this video I was using the canon 17-50 but I recently changed to the Panasonic 12-35 and love it !
@@justinragsdale4091 love your content man! I’m learning the pocket 4k currently. Do you use any diffusion filters for your lens?
Greetings!!! I appreciate your great time and efforts put towards enlightening us about this career. Thank you for that I sincerely appreciate it. Please I have a request. What’s the possibilities of importing the custom luts from Blackmagic pocket cinema 4k to adobe premiere pro? Like the Gen 5 Film to rec 2020 hybrid log gamma. I love the way it handles a dark skin here in Africa. Or better still if you will be kind enough to share me your conversion luts for film to reasonable color to start with. I’m not a colorist but own a Blackmagic pocket cinema 4k. Please help.
