I've been told that by juicing fruit, the sugar spikes your insulin and blood glucose making the juicing bad for you. Can anyone help on this?

I've been juicing/blending for 25 years and my most important advice is honor YOUR body. It's not a "one size fits all situation". I find fresh, unpasteurized juice very healing. BUT I know my body. My body always wants more veggies than fruit. I need the minerals. Soooooo I took today's recipe, put in about 10 times more greens, two whole lemons, added some celery and it was delish. I really like Jason's recipes and find them a great starting point, but I always know that I need the greens. On some of his recipes Jason does something I love, which is to juice some ingredients and then take that fresh juice, put it in a blender with some whole/unjuiced ingredients and create a super smoothie. Those are delicious. Don't be afraid to play and discover what works best for you. And have fun. Good luck!
