The ones that aim straight grounded with a thick hit box are pretty much unavoidable but you can limit chip by super jumping and then FD blocking the rest if you really don't want to eat any chip damage.
@@imfinishedgrinding638 there's 3 variants of the Megalomania and all of them are meant to be avoided entirely. 1) a line that curves slightly upwards - avoided by staying as far back from i-No in your corner and crouching. 2) a wavy line that curves up and down - avoided by walking up to the middle of the screen and then crouching down as the shots close in. 3) A wide reaching blast completely covering i-No from the front - avoided by getting right in front of her and double jumping behind her just when she shoots.

Gill- Resurrection. (Gill laughs) Ha ha ha ha! Gills finisher moves should be called resurrection, armageddon (rocks falling) and revelation (where gill floats and rises from the ground with his exposed wings).
That's the idea, but it only works on moves executed one at a time. Most of the time it's the sheer rapid number of hits generated that increases the tick damage, and in some rare cases these moves are specially scripted to increase it's attack power against a blocking opponent.
It's damage taken while blocking. It's supposed to be VERY minimal, like blocking a Super move should probably do less damage than getting hit with a Heavy attack. Even the attacks with small chip damage in this vid are absurdly big conpared to how it should be. Though, Amane from BlazBlue is built around chip damage. Those drills of his have to be leveled up, and that game has Barrier Blocking to help defenders, so he surprisingly isn't actually bullshit
Gill's Seraphic Wings doesn't really count, the damn thing already does 95% damage if you don't block, compared to 30% it's a good trade. Besides, if you have less than 30% it's instant death whether you block or not anyways.
