  • This very special One Day Build is an international collaboration with the newest member of the Tested family! Simone Giertz is an amazing maker who builds mesmerizing robots. To build her latest machine, she chats with Adam from her home in Sweden to design a mechanism to deploy popcorn from a helmet. Adam builds some parts in the cave using his trusty vacuum-form machine!

      Si seulement tous ces maker à la noix travaillaient sur des choses vraiment utiles pour aider l'humanité, on pourrait aider tellement plus de gens et aller 10 fois plus vite, mais non au lieu de ça, c'est mieux de créer un pop-corn feeder. C'est nul... Utilisez vos connaissances et votre talent pour faire autre chose que de la hype, utilisez le pour faire des prothèses de jambes ultra fonctionnelles à moindre coûts, des nouvelles méthodes et outils pour opérer, ou diagnostiquer, des chose qui améliore le confort des malades, il y a tellement de truc sur quoi travailler, c'est quoi l’utilité d'utiliser vos connaissance et votre talent pour faire un distributeur de popcorn robotique ? Satisfaire le dieu internet et faire que tout existe ? L'époque post-moderne souffre de ça justement, de ce désirs de faire tout exister. C'est nul qu'il existe et que des gens ait dépensé du temps, de l'argent et de l’énergie à fabriquer un truc pareil alors qu'il existe tellement d'autre problèmes à régler, mais ces problèmes vous permettraient de moins jouer sur la hype si vous vous entrepreniez à les résoudre. Le challenge du 21ème siècle c'est de réussir à alpaguer tous ces talents autodidacte et à les ingtégrer à une logique de progrès technique, parce que pour le moment tous ces gens ne servent à rien, la pop culture on en a assez, il y a assez de film, assez de porno, assez de musique, assez de tout pour un millier de génération d'homme. Quand tu vois un mec comme Mark Robers quitter la NASA à 30 ans pour faire des vidéo youtube et des dispersseur de paillettes pour les voleur de colis, tu te dis que vraiment il y a un truc qui tourne plus très rond dans cette nouvelle économie de l'attention 2.0 On s'en fou d'un distributeur de pop-corn, pourquoi pas faire un robot feeder avec une fourchette pour les tétraplégique ? Ou travailler sur une fourchette spéciale pour l'apesanteur, je sais pas au bout d'un moment il faut se poser les bonnes question, t'as fait quoi de ta vie, j'ai fabriqué des gadget inutiles qui une fois la hype passée pourrissent dans un garage...

    How to make an automatic popcorn feeding machine:
    Step 1: Screw a block of wood to your head.

    • @mjsimons9757
      @mjsimons9757 8 років тому +16

      +darkliberty it's when the snow melts almost completely but it's still not liquid. it's kind of like a 'snow slush' or something, but with dirty brown-ish snow instead. large parts of sweden have 'mild winters' which means that the temperature is around +2 to -7 celsius. whenever it snows it soon melts almost completely leaving slask. then it freezes and you suddenly have a 2-3 cm thick layer of ice on the roads

    • @GH0202
      @GH0202 8 років тому +3

      darkliberty it's really not. the worst thing is that the slask can stay for weeks at a time and once it's gone it's only a matter of time before it comes back again

      @@GH0202 I know this is an old comment, but I never knew there was a decent term for it. Here we just call it snow since it rarely snows enough and stays a cool enough temperature to stay solid for long. The saddest thing is trying to make snowmen out of it still. lol Slask is such a wonderful word because it sounds exactly like the noise it makes when you walk through it. Going to add that to my vocabulary now. :)

    I love how when Adam was "done", he had the basic parts and motion.... then when he's explaining it to Simone he's created all new structure, with spring loaded return, adjustable mounts, etc.
