For standard range all you do is tap into purple on drivers side and equivalent in passenger for power. U can actually pull out the pins on Hansshow’s plug and slide them into factory harness then shrink seal.
Please note that these lights are not compatible with Teslas that have Hardware 4.0, so all the newer ones. I found that out the hard way. I ordered them and tried to install them, only to find that the plugs are not compatible with newer Teslas. But even more disappointing is the customer experience I had. When I tried to return them, I had to email various Hansshow email address for a week with no response. I finally got a response from a rude employee. At first, she tried to claim that no return was possible unless I could prove that they don't work with my car. Then she offered some very lame advice of how to splice wires to make the lights work, even though they are advertised as "plug and play." When I told her that I was not going to be splicing any wires, she wanted to charge me a 25% restocking fee. I was able to get that down to 15%, but I still had to pay shipping to send the lights back to them. In retrospect, I'm glad I did not install them. They look and feel cheap. The wiring harness inspires little confidence. Also, if you get rid of your OEM lights to install this junk, you will no longer have a side reflector, which is required by law.
Good install. I’ve done over 10 installs of these what I like to call jewel eye fog lights, primarily for Model 3 SR+ owners since they don’t come equipped with fog lights. Much easier to install when the wheel is off, especially for tapping into the side repeater turn signal as you have much more room to work with. But as you mentioned, not everyone has a low profile jack and a torque wrench.
Nice installation. But really not sure about the design - makes me think of the early 2000 audi led-lights and somehow look a bit dated. Dont think "stepped" and separated leds suits the modern stealth look of Tesla.
@@megawatts I talked to a service person at a Tesla service center in Berkeley California. He stated if there is a problem with the Tesla electrical system and they can trace it to that aftermarket part. It will void the electrical warranty on the car. I am going to follow that information up, by talking to the service manager at another Tesla dealership. Thanks for your response. I do not think there will be any problems. but I was curious to see how Tesla would answer the question.

Are these brighter than the stock projector fog lights?
Stock fog lights put out more light
Will the turn signals come on during the daytime when the fog lights aren't on?
hi there....where did you get the front blacklip from....is it painted?
My fog lights was working. After a day. Stopped working. Is there fuse here to replace? Model y 2022. Need help..
Are these brighter than the factory fogs
Very nice look. Where did you get your front lower bumper black carbon looking piece?
Looks like it's wrapped
Nice!
Are the fog lights brighter than factory fog lights?
Yes
Just installed mine and everything is working perfectly except for both my side cameras. They stopped working.
Just don’t do the sequential and revert back should work again after system reset.

Smoke it out
Does this install void the Tesla warranty on the electrical system?
