I am a 75 year old mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Instead of sitting alone watching mindless movies on TV at night, I have been watching your unbelievable beautiful creations. Thank you so much for making my life so much brighter!!! Keep creating, as the world needs more beauty and lovely people like you!!!
Wow! Thank you very much!
I am 70 and love watching these beautiful pieces emerge from the resin and woods.
I think it is so funny how many older ladies find this channel fascinating, and I am one of them.
Hi everyone . I'm 50 y.o. italian girl and I really love your creations. Thank you for sharing❤
Ditto from all us seasoned citizens that love watching your channel. Hands down, way better than tv
My Dad purchased a One way Sit Down Lathe for the Senior Community he lived at. When he passes away, the lathe was donated to the workshop at the senior community center so that others in wheelchairs could enjoy the wood turning hobby..
Such a great idea. Thank you.
This was awesome of him to do that! Sorry for your loss! Thanks for watching!
I'm a 57year old lady doctor from India. I don't have much spare time but I find your videos very calming and relaxing. My sons make fun of me saying I am becoming so knowledgeable watching your channel that I can switch jobs !! 😂
Wonderful! Thank you very much!
Watching your channel from 🇦🇺.
Don't take this the wrong way, Jim, but I love watching your work before going to sleep - it's so relaxing and induces the calmness I need instead of mindless scrolling or watching TV. Love your creativity and your allowing the materials to "speak" to you.
You’re apparently not alone, lol. Most find my voice very smoothing. Thank you very much!
Tip number 49 from "Woodturning for People Over a Certain Age:" CHAIRS! So true. So very, very true. Jim, I love this piece! I love how the cherry branches look like they're being stretched and being pulled in the direction of the curves of the hollow form. Very organic with great movement and color! And in the words of almost any great Chinese philosopher you could choose: "None of us are as young as we used to be, grasshopper."
So true! Thank you very much!
Love this one! Ignore the blue haters, the blues are my favorite pieces, especially the sea cave. I also love the collars on your hollow forms. Thanks again for all of the info. And designer epoxy. Cheers!
Thank you so much!
I very enjoyed the shop update - organisation makes me happy!
And so does that silver!
Ha ha! Thanks so much!
Designer epoxy!!!!
I like it!
Absolutely beautiful!😍 Pouring the rainbow blue in with the silver turned out amazing! You never disappoint, Jim!
Thanks so much!
I love the blue with the different branches and the shape of the hollow form!
Your shop looks amazing and I bet having it cleaned up and organized makes working in it much easier and more efficient!
Yes, it certainly does, on the other hand, I don’t know where I’ve put things now, lol. Thanks
That's a typical man's mind set lol
Designer Epoxy ❤
Thanks
ooo a long video. Where's my tea... Designer Epoxy!
Thank you very much!
Good morning to all. A fresh homemade cherry scone and a cup of tea ready to go. This looks spectacular.
Good morning from Australia, although it's very early morning (12:45am) so coffee and biscuits for me 😄. Thanks for showing a more in depth look at your captive system. Very interesting and this hollow form is going to look sweet.
Hope you enjoy! Thanks
I'm so jealous.
"Sharing is caring!" Homemade cherry scone sounds delish!!!
Mmmmm . . . Cherry scone.
Love that classic shape. It always reminds me of a ginger jar. That blue and silver at the top is stunning. I think that would be a beautiful color choice for a giveaway. If you try tis again try it in the deepest green you can get and mix it with the silver.I have to put this one in my top ten. Excellence and artistic vision achieved once again.👍
Great idea!! Thanks
I approve this color choice!
You overdid yourself again this week. So beautiful.
Thanks very much!
Excelent, you are the best in wood work, this world need more people like you. Thank you to have you.
Wow, thank you
This is a gorgeous pie Jim. The resin is mixed as perfectly as it gets. Great color, plenty of shimmer. The shape of this piece is dead on. Super job Jim.
Designer Epoxy
Thank you very much!
You did it AGAIN! AND AGAIN, SHES A BEAUTY!
Thank you very much!
Oh, Designer Epoxy!
Thanks
Another awesome looking hollow form Jim, love the 2 woods with the blue
Thank you! Cheers!
Me, not a woodworker, sitting on my couch eating cheezits: "Psh, amateurs. Don't even know what pith is..."
Anyway, LOVE these branch pieces, they are SO groovy. Absolutely glorious. Everything from the shape, the color, the choices of the wood pieces, no notes.
🤣 Thanks very much! Love cheezits!
Very beautiful piece. Constantly raising the bar! Good luck with your home sale and moving.
Thank you so much!
Once again you’ve out done yourself. Just love it 🥰
Thanks so much 😊
that is Lush, great piece of crafting and beauty
Thank you very much!
Broken record here. But another beautiful piece. :) Branch/Epoxy pieces are always interesting to me. Designer Epoxy
Thank you! Cheers!
Didn’t notice till watching the beautiful piece rotating, there are really cool stars in the middle of the red oak.
Me either, what a neat surprise. Thanks
Jim, if this doesn't draw in subscribers, I don't know what will. This piece is absolutely gorgeous. Simple but so elegant and spectacular. And the shop looks fantastic too!
I got 280 yesterday, so you’re right, lol. Thank you very much!
WOW that vase should be in a museum it is a work of art!
Thank you very much!
Beautiful Hollow Form, Jim. What a completely different look when lit from the inside. Very cool,
Many thanks!
Another amazing turn. It’s one of your best. Beautiful! Designer Epoxy.
Thank you so much 😀
As someone who can't stand and had assumed that meant that I couldn't do woodworking, thank you for telling us about the sit down lathe! It's nice when ppl include disabled ppl. It doesn't happen enough.
I also love this piece. I think the things you do with branches are always interesting. Burl is beautiful in person but it is much more difficult to see the details of through the internet.
My pleasure, thanks!
Good morning Jim! Yet again another beauty being made before my eyes. You work so hard...while I drink my coffee. Love the blue and ALL THAT WOOD! See you next week. Have a great one!
Thank you very much!
Another "Designer Epoxy" masterpiece for sure!
Thank you very much!
I didnt know that Dwaine had a family! Thats cute 😛🤣😆

Jim this piece is truly amazing. The mixture of small and larger limbs is great. Love love love it.
Thanks a bunch!
Another stunner!!
Thank you very much!
Oh my goodness, that's gorgeous 😍
Thank you! 😊
Great job. I love this blue. My favorite color. Beautiful wood and color mix. Well done.
Thank you very much!
I love how every week you manage to make another favorite. So happy you took the silver it really was seperate from the rest. The piece is so balanced without it.
Thank you so much!
Love the contrast between the oak and blue. Great piece.
Thank you very much!
Those little bubbles remind me of bubble wrap pops. A popper would have a blast working one of those lol.
Yes, lol. Thanks
Hi, from southern Ontario. I love watching the process. Not sure how, but I'm not a woodturner and knew what the pith was.
Great, thanks for watching!
A striking piece.
Thank you very much!
Bravo! Love the blue of course but it really does compliment the wood.
Thank you very much!
Wow! The blue mixed in with the two different kinds of wood, gorgeous ❤. I think the silver color you added before would look amazing. Another beautiful piece of art ❤
Thank you! Cheers!
Wow! This piece is fantastic!

Me too. Thank you very much!
You never cease to amaze me. This absolutely takes the cake. I love it!
Thank you so much!
One of your best pieces! and the hollowing tool set up instructions was appreciated!
Glad it was helpful! Thank you very much!
Jim, that is outstanding
Thank you very much!
Very very nice piece! I was not sure about the blue at the beginning, but wow! The blue works really well. Again, this piece is awesome. Very well done, Sir.
Thank you very much!
This effort is a beautiful project. Way to go Jim and this Designer Epoxy
Thank you very much!

Absolutely gorgeous
Thank you very much!
Love this piece! Great video, as always!
Thank you very much!
You never fail to amaze me with your FANTASTIC color and wood choices .... this piece of ART is truly Gorgeous!!
Thank you very much!
Once again, another beautiful piece Jim. Love the two different types of branches, and the resin colors are amazing. Thanks for sharing. Take care.
Many thanks!
I really loved this piece Jim, & of course blues, purples & hyper-shift pigments are my favourite colours. When you put Dwayne or Baby Dwayne’s on the top to keep the wood from rising, could this be when the tops of the sticks absorb more of the resin colour (when it is in the vacuum pot)? Could this be causing the extra colour absorption on some of the top of the branches? Just a thought, I only know what I have learned from watching your channel. Anyway, another great video! Hope the house sells quickly for you & your wife. 🖖🏽
No, I don’t think so, most of the branches remained submerged in the resin except for the three that escaped. We hope the house sells quickly too, lol. Thanks
Designer Epoxy Its a stunning beauty!
Couldn't agree more! Thanks
I just LOVE how you took some branches from outside and turned them into a "Bring nature inside" piece. Just like the pinecones one you did maybe a year ago.
I wonder how a piece would turn out using lots of SHELLS in the design of a future project.
Designer Epoxy
Shells are too hard to turn even with carbide. Thank you very much!
Yes, beautiful!! The silver pour on the collar, is very subtle, but lovely!
Thank you so much!
Beautiful piece ❤
Thank you! 😊
I'm knot Lichen that wood 😜😜😜😜😜😜 now that's some funny word play 😉😂😂😂😂😂 Cheers to another cool project
Lol. Thank you very much!
The rainbow blue is my favorite of the colors you use! I like how the top looks like a buttercup.
Thank you very much!
Most impressive I have to say.
No - change that to absolutely FANTASTIC!!!!
Wow, thank you!
Good morning Jim, so much for the shop staying clean, lol. Thanks for sharing tips on the cutter, great job explaining the process. Gorgeous piece, as usual. I agree, it's very, very cool. Keep on turning!!! Beautiful pen, lucky guy. Designer epoxy (p.s. still pushing through the commercials on all your videos)
Thanks for that, no commercials equals no Jim on UA-cam.
WOW! Love the blue against the wood! Designer Epoxy
Thank you very much!
Love the blue resin Jim..Thank you for the video! Look forward to it each week.
More to come! Thanks so much!
Top 3 for me. Beautiful piece. Designer epoxy
Thanks very much!
That is gorgeous Jim! The shimmering blue against the wood grain is stunning!
Many thanks!
Blue, wood, a touch of silver. Just how we are making our home. Inside it’s all shades of gray (icky). With chromed silver doorhandles, hinges, and cabinet/drawer pulls. So we are priming all the gray out and will repaint in shades of blue. The floors are solid medium to dark wood. This piece is gorgeous, makes me think of how my home will look when done. 🥲
Should look very nice! Thanks
Another stunning piece!
Thank you very much!
OoooooooooOOOOOH!
SO GOOD!
I adore this look, I love the branches, the colour combo, the collar, the shape, the contrast of the thicker and thinner pieces of wood in different species and hue, EVERYTHING is gorgeous!
I can only offer gushing praise this week Jim, I'm pretty tired so I don't have any interesting questions or observations to offer, but yes, this piece is just beautiful! Thank you!
Thank you so much!!
Very Nice. I love the information on the set up of the boring bar. I love the blue color that is one of my favorite colors Designer Epoxy.
Thanks so much!
Still loving this turning. It's beautiful.
Thanks very much!
God Bless from your Canadian Friend
Thank you very much!
This piece reminds me of art at a Waldorf school or a fairy flower in a Hans Christian Anderson book. Beautiful craftsmanship as always 🥰
Thanks so much!
Absolutely beautiful project this week!

Me too! Thanks
Looks like a work of art.

Thank you very much!
Jim , OH MY GOSH this is just gorgeous ! Wow ! I just love it !
Thank you so much!
Absolutely brilliant, Jim. Although I prefer reds and blacks for epoxy, you hit another homerun with the Rainbow Blue. I am not a turner, I remodel homes and am a USAF vet. Thank you for your service for your country. Thank you for your voice overs. Other channels just can't compare
Wow! Thanks so much!
What an awesome color, shape, and style. Love love love this bowl? Vase? It's beautiful!!
Thank you so much!
I absolutely love this piece. The silver collar just works and the branches just dance. Thanks for all the great work you do.

Jim, an awesome turning! The combination of the wood species and size of branches with the oval and oblong shapes looks great! I will look forward to seeing more in the future.
Designer epoxy
Thank you very much!
Cleaning the shop for pictures should also help when you have to pack it up to move. You've got a head start. I'm only a little way into the video but the thumbnail looks gorgeous; excited to see more.
Thanks so much!
