- Jonathan Reynoso and Audrey Moran were a young Coachella Valley couple that vanished on May 10th, 2017. Two days later, Audrey’s car was found abandoned on the side of the highway - but there was no sign of her or Jonathan. The couple was missing without a trace for three years until the police announced they’d arrested 6 suspects for their murders.

Quite off topic but thank you Josh and Kendall for saving my butt! I recently moved and my anxious senior pup had been howling as soon as we were gone for work every day. We got a note complaining about her howling so I decided to turn on Mile Higher and queue up a few episodes each day so she wasn’t stuck in silence. My idea worked, apparently she is so used to hearing your voices around the house she stays calm even if we leave. 😂 so thank you for saving us from getting any more noise complaints!!
I love that so much and can relate! My old dog got a bunch of teeth pulled. He was in pain and confused because of the anesthesia. I sat with him for over an hour but I had stuff to do. I turned lop and as soon as he heard Josh he snuggled in and slept.🤗

Poor pup. Glad to hear that MHP is helping her. We leave cat TV on for our boys of we are gone for a long time / over night along with t-shirts that we have worn the previous day. Try leaving her blankets that have your scent on. Also, you can get calming plug ins that should help. Congratulations on your new home btw. ✨🏡
You should also try giving your pup some pet CBD from higher love wellness!!! It's helped my critters have less anxiety 😊

Jonathan is my cousin and we grew up together in New York before we both went out separate ways in life & lost contact. Finding out this happened back in 2017 through his mom was super hard on all of us especially Mayra. I'm not happy to know they both gone for real but now Mayra has closure & can start healing process. Regardless of what ppl can speculate if they was doing drugs or deals the fact remains the horrible experience they endured and didn't deserve. Miss you cuz n may you Rest in paradise and I'll be seeing you again when time comes. Xoxo

Usually we complain and agree that the police work in a lot of these cases is subpar, but I gotta say here they actually figured out a lot and caught the guys! though it took a while but they had to do it under raps or they probably wouldn't have been able to put their guy undercover. Lol maybe the police actually doing their job is surprising now...
I think most cops do their job well, it's just not as newsworthy when they do. Unless you're in a bigger city, murder investigations are just a tiny fraction of what most police departments do. But you are right, the cops did a great job in this case!

This just made my day off so much better. Love you guys :-) Btw lots of people still use Facebook. Most people I know in their 30s-60s use it. Me (37) a mom of 4 teenagers I just can't keep up with all the new social media. I use IG occasionally but Facebook on the daily.
I use FB mostly for groups, having my own & joining ones I can learn from I love it!

So sad, I think it’s easier than most of us think to get involved in these situations. You get a little indebted to dealers and then it spirals out of control. She probably thought they were all friends and wouldn’t kill him or her.
Very sad situation, my heart goes out to their families.
The fact he was nervous around the border is suspicious he getting in debt to some bad people.

I benn listing to you for a while I fell bad for the victimes. I do know what drugs can do to people . I now for the victimes theyhave been throught so much I pray that God gives the the sentence that they desrve. you guys are so awesome. joanne
I live in Beaumont and I remember when the car was found, there’s been a few cars found in that area where the owners have gone missing or have been murdered
I think the officer was uncomfortable with the questions, but i don’t think this is they way he talked to the family personally.

I remember watching Kendall's video and thinking that this case seemed cold. I'm so happy for the update and hope justice is served! Just a note about the first clip from the press conference - someone actually asked "how brutal was this murder?" Wtf kind of question is that?! The poor cop was probably caught off guard and had no idea how to politely answer.
I met Jonathon a couple times delivering patients to the hospital he worked at when I was an EMT… He was always very kind…

I'm thinking Jonathan might have been trying to get "quick" money through drugs and Audrey might have been trying to help him by connecting them with those who ultimately killed them. She probably knew about drug deals her ex was pulling. Jonathan was probably a good guy who was desperate and did not know what he was getting himself into. I'm so sad for everyone involved.

I completely agree. This was 100% about money. He was a middle man for these dealers that SHE knew. They were her ties, not his but he was doing the work here and it all came down to money bc that is what it's ultimately about when it's the drug game.

The fact that Jonathan's and Audrey's parents know these criminals from the time they went to middle school, must be so heartbreaking.

the fact that so many people were involved and they were able to evade being arrested for a good amount of time leads me to believe they are more organized and experienced than they claim.

What sounded off to me was when they said Adilene administered CPR. I highly doubt that someone with ill intent would, even in an accidental event.
If Audrey was going to school for RN she was CPR certified. She probably told them to call an ambulance or she would.
I doubt she said she would go to the police. But they couldn't let her go because she literally knew all of them and witnessed the murder. No way they were letting her go 😞

I had never heard of this case. I just went down a rabbit hole and wow. This one is wild too. Absolutely heartbreaking. As a parent, I can't imagine my child missing and not knowing.

Johnathan was at a very low place in his life and turned to drugs. And Audrey had the hook up through her ex. Johnathan didn't have money, Audrey vouched for him and he couldn't come through. Her ex prolly got in trouble with the others for giving the drugs (because he was low in the game) and he had to fix it. So he told Audrey to bring Johnathan to him, she did, they jumped him but did* hit him to hard and killed him. Then they killed her because she was a witness and a liability.
That's how I see it
I also believed this could have happened. There was rumors he was running guns also. My brother in law went to school with her. May their souls find peace 🙏🏼♥️

As someone who trains dogs including training for cadaver/search n rescue, the scent of them from the car probably traveled uphill due to the wind, it’s that easy for dogs to track scents, and wind plays a huge role in where the dogs work for a scent. Then, as a women, you aren’t going to convince me to climb up that embankment. I don’t think either of them went up it at all, unless they were forced

I’m from Brawley & I suspected right away Jonathan was never in Brawley. We are such a small town, everyone literally knows everything about everyone, and I found it odd no one knew or saw anything. This case is so heartbreaking 😔

A version that went around was that Jonathan had been supplied with dr*gs by one of the individuals involved in his m*rder but hadn’t paid, they somehow met up & the rest is history…

Could it be that because he was having money problems, he might have taken on doing some work for these dealers. He could have been introduced to them through her. Him, being new to that lifestyle, might have made a mistake and it all went south from there.

Lot of people I know in their 30s & under that still use FB only use it to keep up with older family members that use nothing else. I've done a total of 12 post this year only to share photos/life events. 😂 I imagine you wouldn't want to put a relationship up unless it was pretty serious, otherwise your family would start asking about the person.

I feel so bad for their families, though I do agree that finally having answers is better than never knowing what happened or where their loved ones are. Also I truly love the way you guys handle these cases and the compassion and empathy you show for the victims and their families.
honestly being from the Coachella valley it wouldn’t be too crazy to hear if Jonathan was to be selling. Most of the people living here especially the younger ones are either dealing, part of gangs, or are buying from these people. I’ve had friends robbed at gun point, at one point a friend of a friend got threatened by the Mexican cartel and told they would cut his head off and put it on a stick for everyone to see. I’ve lived out there for the last 12+ years and the raised violence have gotten worse and worse. I went to school with Audrey’s cousin, such sweet person and always talked highly of Audrey. When the news got out everyone in the valley were so surprised and shocked by the people who had done it.

I’m thinking Jonathan needed money for rent, etc, and Audrey knew/were friends with some of these people and knew they sold drugs. Maybe she was trying to get them to help Jonathan out and he was selling drugs for them, and maybe owed them money. So they killed him, and also killed Audrey because she was a witness.
I gotta stop you real quick Kendall , Beaumont area has a lot , tons of food places to go to I wouldn’t be surprised if someone held them hostage at a gas station and went from there , Beaumont is a bad area really ghetto
I was deep in addiction for many years and was really deep into that world. I was an IV drug used , homeless and sold drugs and I can say that without a doubt so many things can go wrong with a drug deal … at any moment . It’s ugly and it gets ugly really fast. I’m happy to be clean now.

I live 3 exits down from where their car was found it was so odd that the car was abandoned there because there really would have been no where for people to walk. So a lot of local people thought maybe someone kidnapped them and took them into San Timoteo canyon because there’s railroad tracks and a bunch of overgrown brush through there. But off oak valley parkway is a gas station and there were some other restaurants.
It's weird how the target was Jonathan but one of them was Audrey's ex?! Also, maybe Jonathan's friends didn't know about the other group of friends bc it involved drugs or possibly Jonathan selling drugs and he didn't want his real friends knowing about it maybe

@@hannahsevers328 where the fbi stages a death or a murder in order to get rid of someone and relocate them generally very far away from where they lived. Sometimes out of the country. Get rid of their SSN and birth certificates, push out legitimate death certificates and give them new identities. Generally this happens when a witness or informant gives up a lot of information for maybe a cartel or a mob or gang, and they fear for their life if they tell the feds the truth. So they ask for witness protection in exchange for talking.
I don’t think for this case necessarily. Since they had to dig up so many yards and deal with property owners. And they ended up confessing and blaming each other.

I can believe that it COULD have been an accident. If he owed them money, dead people don’t pay up. But to my mind, it makes no difference. Even if they never meant to go so far as killing him, he’s dead & then they killed her to keep her quiet. I have a feeling she DID react to seeing the murder & say she was going to call police because she felt that her friends wouldn’t hurt her… especially if the first death was truly accidental. I’m sure many will call me harsh, I don’t care… I hope they get the harshest punishment possible.
So glad this was solved since when I heard about this case from Kendall's channel it seems so hopeless. When these case get solved it gives me hope for other cases.

Thinking that maybe Jonathon agreed to sell drugs for these guys and he, having owed so much money to ppl, possibly skimmed money off the top and they caught him.🤷🏼♀️ So retribution for stealing... Jonathon was too desperate to earn money.
