If you're going into the red then you need to turn down your gain or volume of your source. Typically it means you're clipping which will make you sound bad, and potentially damage your speakers, especially if you are hearing distortion in your speakers.
Bash me for asking this but is this all beatmatching, or do the CDJ 2000s have a better beat gri- ish kind of thing? I know the new ones now come with beatsync feature so I was just wondering.

Finally some more DJs who can actually use the full features. Most of the DJ sets here could be done with one CDJ500 and an ipod.
