- 5 New Emotions That Could Replace The Old Emotions In Inside Out 2!
As we see in the first movie, Riley changes into a new person as the film goes on. Although San Francisco isn't her home yet, she must adjust to life in the big city, and from this comes a lot of heightened emotions. When Joy and Sadness finally figure out they can't fight this change that Riley is experiencing, it becomes easier for all five emotions, but even this isn't enough. As seen in the new trailer, Riley is getting more emotions as she grows, and with more emotions taking over her mind, we could expect to see some of the old ones disappear or be replaced by something else entirely. In today's video we will be speculating what her old emotions could turn into and how them doing so would affect Riley!

I love this cause it will make the feeling replace or unneeded idea even better and more interesting
Here’s some evolution idea of mine
Starting with the core emotions
Joy evolves into: Love
This emotion have so much happiness in her and cares deeply about the others so evolving into Love would be a perfect match
Sadness evolves into: Despair
This emotion is unable to control her sadness and because of this evolving into Despair would work perfectly
Anger evolves into: Hatred
This emotion just likes to swear a lot so evolving into Hatred will be a perfect fit
This is also a reference to to a saying from Yoda from Star Wars who goes like this: Anger leads to hate and hate leads to suffering
Disgust evolves into: dislike
This emotion is influencing Riley into not liking certain things and evolving into dislike would work the best
Fear evolves into: Jump-Scare
This emotion is so scared of everything that he never realizes anything so evolving into Jump-Scare can work for him
Now for the new emotions
Anxiety evolves into: Jealousy
This emotion might be a bit jealous about the other emotions being in control so evolving into jealousy will work well
Boredom evolves into Loneliness
This emotion might get nothing to do and never have any ideas so evolving into loneliness will work perfectly
Envi evolves into: urge
This emotion might make Riley overflow her demands so evolving into urge will work
Embarrassment evolves into: Pain
This emotion might be embarrassed i with painful thoughts So evolving into Pain will work perfectly
And the secret emotion is next
Shadenfreude evolves into: Amusement
The cries of pain amuses this emotion so much that evolving into Amusement will work perfectly
Just because there’s new emotions doesn’t mean they’re going to replace the old emotions
They might not replace them, but the Old Ones could become New Ones.

Love is not an emotion its a feeling ppl need to stop thinking love is an emotion

I think if love is a new emotion in the movie,that Joy and Love will be rivals

Both are positive emotions
Both want Riley to be happy
Joy is happiness of what you enjoy doing,and Love is romantic happiness,having someone else that makes you happy

there's already enough other commenters pointing out that new emotions does not mean the replacing or changing of the core 5.
