Im finally going to be moving into my own apartment. Yes it is low income. It was newly remodeled and in a fairly nice place now since the new woman started working there and i am very lucky and greatful to have the opportunity. I cant believe people can be so disgusting like this!!!!
I have never ever been evicted from any residence I've ever lived in, but when I did move out, I had a cleaning party so it was spotless for the next tenant...
I was just taught to never burn bridges like that. You never know when you might need to go back to a former landlord. They should be happy to receive you back as a tenant.
My husband and I rented a house from a sweet couple we knew from church. We were never late on rent. We took good care of the home. We did landscaping, bought a new stove and oven, because the one there stopped working and we knew they were struggling during the pandemic already. When we bought our forever home, a couple years ago, they decided to sell the rental. Our last month living there, the furnace quit. It was December-January. We had to heat our house using electric heaters that skyrocketed our light bill. Still, we paid them full rent. The furnace part couldn’t be fixed quickly, due to supply shortages. Again, that wasn’t their fault. They came by, with their real estate agent, several times. Every time they were there, they’d rave about how we had been the “best tenants ever”. We left the place in better condition than we’d received it. Then, when it came time for us to get our security deposit back, they disappeared. We decided it wasn’t worth pursuing a couple thousand dollars, if it meant that much to them. It hurt my feelings, though. I’d truly believed we’d all become good friends, over those years. It seems such a rare occurrence, to find honest and decent tenants AND landlords. Almost always turns into a battle, when it’s time to move out. One or the other winds up taking advantage.
Yeah, but for FOUR MONTHS, something was chewing the hell out of me at night, I kept saying that from what I saw on the internet, it looked like bedbug bites, he denied it, then one night while drunk (it was a nightly occurrence) we were discussing it, and he let it slip it had happened before. WHAT? The reason they weren't biting HIM was because he was an alcoholic, and apparently, bedbugs don't like to party on high-octane blood! He KNEW what it was, and for four damn months, let me keep getting bitten instead of doing something about it!
Aniyunwiya Ageya Oh Honey, I hope that was the end of him! You deserve better! I have the willies just thinking about you getting chewed up! I may have to go spray and vacuum all the beds in the house today. Best of Luck!
Honestly I don't know why you guys bitch so much when the house is left full of stuff. FREE STUFF. AND IF YOU DONT WANT IT, re sell the shit! Y'all are ruining people's lives and taking their homes, yet you guys are acting like the victims.
Sure, sell things riddled with bed bugs, roaches, and who knows what else. Then there is rat and mice droppings and urine. Then, who knows what. I sure wouldn't buy anything from that place or any like them. Usually when they sell hoarded stuff, it's outside, covered up yet exposed to the bare ground and elements and whatever crawls under the plastic or tarp covering it,and on nice nights, no covering. I know. Where I live, there are hoarders I see doing just that. They are between my place and town which is 10 minutes away. I don't see it, don't live near it, and don't have to deal with it. My place is for sale and with wooded road frontage, you can't see much of anything, except wildlife like deer and beautiful birds.
As a property manager for over 10 years, I've seen this and worse. Tenants can be driving a high dollar vehicle, dress to impress, have a 700-credit score and live like pigs. The most difficult evictions are those where children are forced to live in this shit. This is why management should do regular inspections of units. If you discover a unit that is hoarding/unclean/damages, put them on notice ! A 3 day notice to improve or your out ! And report it to CPS so children are on the radar.
i see this nasty stuff, and im just thinking. i wish i had a small two bedroom place, just for myself. to keep nice. and never let another slob near me.
I just came to the realization that I will never give a hand out to anyone homeless. After watching these videos of what should be considered crime scenes. These tenants that are now likely in some homeless encampment...should be in prison. This house is what the last home before becoming homeless, looks like.
I will NEVER understand how people live like this. My husband and I moved a lot when we were younger, with the Army, and then for school and jobs. We rented and always left places as clean or cleaner than we found them. When he was in grad school, we lived in an apartment complex that had been students, but then went downhill fast, with people like these filthy folks moving in and out. We could not afford to move, but it got so bad that they actually LOWERED our rent! I was so glad that he got and accepted a job offer before graduation, so that we could get the hell out of there as soon as he finished school.
I honestly believe it's an epidemic at this point. I am a renter, and whenever I've lived with someone else, or when I visit a friend, even the nicest people with good jobs and clean clothes...their houses are basically filthy and disorganized to a greater or lesser degree. I have also experienced this being a housecleaner - "oh it's pretty clean. You won't need that long" - and it's built up with layers of old grime that they can't even see and have no idea what it takes to get to the original surface. It's not everybody, but the fact is people do not keep things maintained and cleaned as they used to. Everybody has so much stuff, but doesn't care for it. I am continually shocked and disgusted
As a house cleaner I used to tell people that when I hear “it’s not that bad” the house is a mess. Those that say “it’s so bad I’m so sorry” their houses aren’t bad just your average messiness but not necessarily dirty. I refuse to step foot in houses like the one in the video.
That's EXACTLY WHAT THIS IS! Property owners /property managers act as if they don't have the right to do periodic INSPECTIONS, like twice a year with NOTICE unless it's an emergency. I don't understand why owners/managers let people move in their properties and don't check on the properties, THEY DON'T KNOW THESE PEOPLE!
Thank you for posting this my dad does this for a living but he has never told his kids what it’s like. I know why he doesn’t tell us now but these videos do give me some insight.
I do this crappie for a living and some of these units are just horrific. one of the worst ones I had it toke 2 big roll off dumpsters (filled both up with. 2 guys) it to me I wouldn't doubt over 100 heavy duty contractor garbage bags. keep in mind this was only a 2 bedroom one bath town house. it was a single mom with two kids( from what we were told). smelt like mold mixed with cat pass mixed with rotting food mixed with stale cigarette smoke. don't know how people can live like this.
For the love of god did this landlord never do any maintenance or inspections or anything at all at his or her property? this has to have take a long time to get this filthy.
I've seen other videos where it has been as little as five months and the place is filthy, especially if they have a lot of people in and out and they also have animals. He said they had other people there and the original people had left.
I once had a construction and rehab business that would send me to section 8 rental units. They were disgusting in need of repair despite tenants living in them (they were the ones tearing the place up), but the landlord only did the minimum because they were all like that. He still got his rent.
Section 8 does not allow the tenants to live like this. The tenant would have to pay or vacate. Section 8 specialist come out to check every year to check their units. I use to be on it and then worked for them. They would be kicked off the program. I know that for several facts.
In NC, I don't have to serve tenants eviction notices in person (I just have to slide it under the door) and the Sheriff only has to post his notice on the front door. Landlord has no need to talk to anyone.
People just DON'T know how lucky they are to have a house to themselves n not worry about other tenants being stupid. I would love to be able to afford a house for my family.
You are right. Many many years ago we had to rent. But in the last 30 years we've had 3 homes. It's much better. No landlords, or other nonsense. We paid off our second home in 2 years. The home we have now was built with cash. We built all 3 of our homes. So awesome to be a homeowner.
You should be able to do quarterly inspections. They started doing them in my apartment complex and I am glad. You could have one of these on the other side of the wall next to your bed!!

CatLover how you think.mental illness.the way it look.the person have a bad illness.dont judge that person.he or she is sick.I hope they get the help they need.
I had a neighbor in a rural area in Spotsvania. The stench coming from their house hundreds of feet away was so bad; we call the sheriff for a welfare check on them. No dead bodies were inside; but the landlord was not in any rush to clean it up. We were stuck smelling it for almost a year. :p. Not even the hoa would help us.
foreclosure that my company did one time we found that the toilet must have quit working so they just kept using it until the toilet was over filled with turds and then they just decided to crap on the floor next to it. I paid our cleaning lady 200 bucks extra that day.
I am an apartment dweller, 2-bedroom, by myself. Watching this makes me profoundly glad that I'm the freak that I am when it comes to cleanliness. God, what a nightmare. :P
I have seen a hell of a lot worse that was considered clean from what I've seen from people I cleared out a house that took 15 other people in two weeks and 5 U-Haul dumpsters to clean the house out
I own my home, but years ago, when I was renting, I kept my house clean. I would never disrespect a home owner by ruining their property in this way. It is simply disgusting. The landlord will have to sink a lot of money into this place in order to ever rent it again.
my company has done tons of foreclosure properties in Michigan, sometimes it's nothing but garbage, sometimes it's meth labs and we have to call the State Police and leave the property and sometimes we hit the jackpot and we find tons of good items to resell.
All the grime around the handles in the kitchen & other rooms. I've seen another video where they took a sample of the handles & there was something like 90% of the dirt was shit.
I will never understand how things get this bad in a rental home. Every landlord has the right to go into any of his/her properties to inspect after giving the tenants 24 hours notice. And yet they NEVER seem to do an inspection even if the same tenants are there for 5 or 10 years. The only way to protect your investment is to keep your eye on it. Inspecting just twice a year can catch things like this before they're out of control. If you have a proper lease signed, along with an attached Schedule (rules and regulations of living in the property) - if the tenants are breaching any of those rules (i.e. dog shit inside the house; hoarding; vandalism in the home; signs of bug infestations, etc. - you can start the eviction process while the home is still salvageable. And CHECK REFERENCES - it's very unlikely that this is the first time these tenants have trashed a property this way.
Normally my OCD will consume my life when I forget my Medication but right now I’m pretty thankful I have it. I would be jumping from the roof. I hope you have on a mask. And gloves and boots good Lord how do people live like this? I couldn’t sleep. I can’t sleep if there is a dirty spoon in the sink and the dishwasher is full of clean dishes. I’ll put them away if it’s midnight on a weekday before I go to bed I can’t wake up to a dirty house. But I have to clean every day
If he can't flush the toilet, at least close the lid, open the window and shut the door. Eeww!!! Everything needs to be taken out and burned, fumigate the whole place and that is before you clean up to redo anything. Did y'all see the thick dust on the tile top in the bathroom? Wow. Pigs. You have to be sick to live this way. I mean no one in their right mind could live like this. The filth.Even now with my place on the market, if it wasn't, I would still have it as clean as it is. Faucets shining. I can't stand it any other way. Then again, it's just me now, daughter is married 12 yrs today, husband who was 45 passed from cancer (in a few weeks it will be 12 yrs.), and when I had a family with me our house was clean, windows cleaned, but it was lived in. There is a big difference between Lived In,and Pig Sty.
Ace ArtDepot Thank you for your kind words also. You know,I used to love the Fall, but not anymore. I hate this time of year. My Husband passed in December 2004, so you can see why. You know, I can;t understand why someone would tear another persons home apart while renting. We always treated our rental like we would have treated our own.It is our place as long as the rent is paid and it is our residence. People who do this boggle my mind. A home that is lived in is good, but filth,no way. I used to clean rentals working for myself. The ones with men were far cleaner than the ones with women and if they had kids, it makes this place look about the same. I guess girls aren't taught to clean and the guys don't want to live in filth. I don't know I just know once I did one that had 4 college guys in it,and they actually made sure the sink was scrubbed, and they really tried. I just started with this property management company and they thought that was their worst so they tried me on that one. haha They were surprised too. Young ladies out there, clean and cook, your man will love you for it. Maybe if they do that, the men will leave the toilet seat down. haha Maybe
So what do you guys do with the things you remove? Can you keep things, have a yard sale, donate? Tbh I would trash a good majority of that stuff. So sad.
I would so do a yard sale Auction where folks just hang around out front and wait for stuff to be taken out then bid on it, would recover some funds or it goes in a skip or to charity if it is suitable
The landlord should have checked on his tenants & his property.Landlords should encourage tenants to report needed repairs, other issues & offer cleaning tips. Please double screen future tenants.
My son won't listen anymore on a clean room.. the rest of the house looks good.. his room looks like that.. I go in cleaning and he breaks it up again.. 20yrs old.. what do I do..
I remember when being poor meant you didn't have much. Now being poor means you have more stuff than anybody else. 😳

Rusty Nail only 200?!?
@@T.Sullivan right
I am an apartment dweller, 2-bedroom, by myself. Watching this makes me profoundly glad that I'm the freak that I am when it comes to cleanliness. God, what a nightmare. :P
David Sullivan SAME here.
I have seen places like this, it is unbelievable to see and smell these places
I thought I was messy. This is absolutely freaking disgusting. I don't even understand how a person gets like this
light a match and run like hell!
Holy shit, look at the carpet and toilet! So disgusting! I feel like the I just wanna burn the entire house down, and just rebuild from nothing.
I have seen a hell of a lot worse that was considered clean from what I've seen from people I cleared out a house that took 15 other people in two weeks and 5 U-Haul dumpsters to clean the house out
I feel like my house is clean
I own my home, but years ago, when I was renting, I kept my house clean. I would never disrespect a home owner by ruining their property in this way. It is simply disgusting. The landlord will have to sink a lot of money into this place in order to ever rent it again.
I can smell this house though my phone 😂😂👃😫😫
That looks a top of the line getto house with owners getting ready to move out.
When I walked into that house, I would of just quit period!!
The state they left this home in....walking around in that is a literal nightmare. :)
They should give landlords the ability to treat their properties as hotels. If you trash a hotel room, thats a hefty fine.
Fine? they will be lucky just to collect the rent!
EXACTLY 💯
Mind boggling how they could live in such filthy conditions 😯. They should be ashamed of themselves!!!!
my company has done tons of foreclosure properties in Michigan, sometimes it's nothing but garbage, sometimes it's meth labs and we have to call the State Police and leave the property and sometimes we hit the jackpot and we find tons of good items to resell.
Wow... and I freak out if I see water drops on the bathroom sink. Is that house even salvageable? My goodness : /
I cleaned my entire house like a methhead because of this video.
as a methhead haha
I started itching at the mention of bed bugs. I just can't
hehe
All the grime around the handles in the kitchen & other rooms. I've seen another video where they took a sample of the handles & there was something like 90% of the dirt was shit.
Now that's what I call a 'shovel-ready' project!!
A blue toilet?? Never seen it before must be really old
I will never understand how things get this bad in a rental home.
That is just flat-out nasty I'd be afraid to walk through there and catch something.
But I have to clean every day
well, hell aren't u special! ur medicated. that is to the extreme, WOW
Looks like you need a hazmat suit with some air tanks
How can someone live like that! Good god
It's beyond me why people have to trash a home and live that way.
What happens when bedbugs are found? What is the next step in getting the property back to normal rental?
number 2 or number 3 of the worst evictions? What was number 1?
I don't understand why bed bugs cancelled the eviction. What happens now?
This is why I have a house keeper, she steps in when I’m too busy!
How long have they been living there. Damn, did the landlord ever come by and check them out occasionally?
omg poor landlord. They are the real victims :(
If he can't flush the toilet, at least close the lid, open the window and shut the door. There is a big difference between Lived In,and Pig Sty.
god bless younhelen
Helen Kruse sorry to hear about your husband Helen may God bless you and your daughter
Relan Xybltz Thank you for your kind words.
So sad.
That is awful ... how in the hell do people live like this?
That house should just be demolished.
Jesus christ. I was NOT prepared for that toilet.
I would so do a yard sale Auction where folks just hang around out front and wait for stuff to be taken out then bid on it, would recover some funds or it goes in a skip or to charity if it is suitable
There’s probably nothing of value in all that. I see a lot of clothes but they’re all ruined by the filth, smell, mold, bugs, etc.
ugh,I literally just shivered watching this, like in disgust!
The Toilet is Classic!!!
OMG that toilet.
YUK!!!!
The landlord should have checked on his tenants & his property.Landlords should encourage tenants to report needed repairs, other issues & offer cleaning tips. Please double screen future tenants.
Yoo at 2:12 not even a single step was left without crap. now that's unreal.
My son won't listen anymore on a clean room.. the rest of the house looks good.. his room looks like that.. I go in cleaning and he breaks it up again.. 20yrs old.. what do I do..
He talking needing to have a yard sale but don’t nobody want THAT TRASH🤢🤮
I bet there is new species of Bugs in that house. 🤤🤤
When dealing with strong odors, place vicks salve under your nose and slightly in it. helps tremendously.
thanks, i prefer mentholatum
how long did they live there?
Please can someone please let me know what interior decorator design this,?
I just bought a home and it had a tenant.
I closed on the house and they refuse to leave.
"We have bad credit".
How do I get them out??
go to the sheriff's office & explain.
Wondering wtf the cleaning supplies on the shelf was for
Exactly.
I would burn the clothes and shoes i was wearing in there.
That house is a hoarders paradise
