Matt, I have been married 48 years, my husband has always carried two handkerchiefs one to clean his glasses with ( back pocket) and one to blow his nose with ( front right pocket). I ironed all of his handkerchiefs and folded them, when we got married I did draw the line at ironing the neck bands of his Tee shirts ( like his mother did).
Hello Matt♡, It was all a set up 😅! The chickens knew Grandpa had the day off so they wanted to have a bit of fun with you but Grandpa came home too early 🤣🤣!Thanks Grandpa for helping Matt out❤. 🦋🍎
Excellent video Matt and Grandpa the chickens love too mess with Matt so Grandpa can come to the rescue, God bless everyone and prayers and hugs and love 🙏✝️💜
I’m so glad Matt knows when to call his Dad. Matt you are so smart,,you try to solve the problems first,,then call. Shows you care about your Dad. If one chicken goes to the dogs I know you would feel bad. Your a gem 💎. Thanks for all you do.
Matt, nice job! Always glad to see Ralph and/Leanne come to the rescue or do wormy dance. Speaking of wormy dance, that incredible nephew of yours was a sight to see ( I don't know when it was taped, I watched it Sunday afternoon.). Adler is famous!
Howdy Matt! Ok the Matt shuffle worked with the pigs!!!! Lol. No fun on a farm if you don’t chase a chicken every now and then. Love your videos Matt! Can’t wait for you and Case to do something together!!!! Blessings Matt!! Thx Ralph for coming to the rescue !!!! ❤
Hello Matt! And Ralph who wasn’t really there. Never a dull visit. 😂 They just want to be sure that you know ALL the emergency just in case plans. One at a time. Blessings to you ❤ ~ Linda
Hi Matt!😊 Oh my ! The pigs are on your case! 😂 The huddle of chickens was funny . Safety in numbers girls!😂 Hankies are only for posh people Matt!🧐🤭 Grandpa made a cameo appearance.❤😂 🤟🏻🤟🏻
After my Mom passed away, I took all her pretty hankies, washed them, pressed them and just keep them as a fond memory of her. She never went anywhere without a hanky in her purse. Some of them were embroidered with different colored threads and her initials. I’ll never get rid of them. Daddy also used hankies! Now we all use tissues. How times have changed!
I get such a giggle out of watching you and your dad chat away as you are tending to the animals. Thanks for sharing it with us, Matt! Glad you've made it onto the UA-cams🥳! Heather🇨🇦
Love the chicken run....I could almost hear him laughing out loud. The rest of the girls got together for a hen party and they were enjoying the chase as well. Great job, Matt. Grandpa, I remember Kleenex commercial used to say, "Don't put a cold in your pocket" My Mom used to say, "no just throw your dirty tissues in front of my house, so I have to rake them up." There was a bus stop at the corner of our property, so they got tossed there. Keep the hanky. Y'all have a Blessed day.
Boy I really love that guitar 🎸!! Grandpa, when you were going after that hen, I was thinking of the very thing you said. I thought 🤔 ,oh no! Grandpa just got a few days of rest, and now he's running after a chicken 🐔 Matt, I loved the wormy🐛 dance . Little up step or two from Grandpa's. Grandpa, your's is the original wormy🐛 dance. I loved them BOTH!❤️
Never a dull day on the farm! Matt you called for your Dad, but at the same time you did your best to make sure Riley and Revel didn’t get that rooster. But it was fun watching you both together! Great video! ❤God bless you Matt! ❤
Hey Matt, another great video. Sorry you had to call for backup to rangel the escapee. You know he doesn't mind though. You're doing a great job with the animals, no worries. God bless you.❤
"Here he comes to save the day, grampa Doss is on the way" I've been watching your whole family from before the "beefy boys" and miss Wilma. Long time watcher and have added on each channel. So glad you finally joined the crew Matt. God bless you all.
LOL... all the chickens went out to see the show. They were waiting in the outdoor corner for part II after intermission!! 😂 ... The life of a chicken.
I was chuckling along as you and your dad were discussing alpacas. I love them! Friends of ours have an alpaca farm near Comox on Vancouver Island, BC. They have 34+ of them and they are separated by gender into to pens. They are great to watch and they can be quite lovely. You will always have a 'spunky' one, but that's to be expected with any herd of anything, in my opinion. My daughter has been spending time with them - they are referred to as her surrogate grandparents - any time we are out there and has even gone for a few weeks during the summer. She's 23yo now, so she doesn't get out there to work very often but she keeps in touch with her 'grandparents' often and gets all the news about them. I mentioned that each herd is going to have a 'brat', well ironically the female one they have is one that she delivered while they were away running errands. It had come out breech so she stepped in and ensured it arrived safely. Her name is Jayde (my daughter's middle name) and is a BRAT! She's the one that you always want to have one arm out in front of you when she approaches. The only people she is good with are the owners and my daughter, despite only seeing her once a year or so. It's strange but awesome at the same time. You are right... they are largely "used" for their fibre. They are great guard animals for small animals... goats, pigs, chickens, etc. Of course they are no match for large predators or a pack, but as far as keeping fox, dogs, raccoons, coyotes, etc away, they're very effective. Plus, in my opinion, they are so cute in a geeky kind of way. It's fun to have them sheered and give them goofy hairdos too, haha. If you can raise an alpaca from a young age, they are like anything else... the more you spend time with them, the less defensive they'll be around people. They do spit (which is awful), but in all the time I've spent with them, I've only had it happen once, and I just kind of caught the overspray as its intended target was another alpaca that I was petting, haha. So, if you don't have a need for a guardian type animal, then there is no need for one, but need and want are different. I'd WANT a few (like Chad has) and let me tell you, their babies - called cria - are the cutest things ever. They are all neck and legs with a fuzzy little face. Ok, I'll get off of here now... I just wanted to share with you what I think of them🥰☺😂 Take care Matt, Heather🇨🇦
Great job Matt. Even though GPA had to rescue the chicken, you did good by keeping up with it until he got there. Maybe he'll share his cheeseburger with you. Glad that all was good with his Dr visit. Always love watching the two of y'all together. Good to see it's warmed up some. GOD bless y'all.
Love the videos...Never a boring day with Matt and Grandpa. Glad for the good news Ralph...Continued prayers for a great healing. Love You All So Much. May God Bless You Bunches! ❤🙏
Another great video! You have been around the animals enough now that I am sure you could have handled the loose chicken on your own. 😊 But it is always nice to have backup!
Thank you for another great video. I am sure your dad and mom deeply appreciates your help with the animals. It's nice to see your subscriber numbers grow. Take care and blessings.
Great video, Matt! ❤❤❤ When Grandpa put the escapee in the pen and it took off running out the open gate, I lost it--alone in my room laughing out loud! Thanks so much for sharing! I'm a 76 yr old homebound widow and mostly watch You Tube. Laughter is truly "good medicine"! 😂❤🙏
Ok mr Matt you outdone yourself this time you really did lol when that bird went a flyin i thought oh no thought the dogs were gonna have chicken for dinner but i'm glad grandpa was there again to save the day thank you again guys for the video as always i enjoyed it and as always much love from Ohio and hope you all had a blessed day
Great job Matt, I know you had to call Grandpa but hey we got to see him and find out he's ok after stitches removal. And of course he caught the chicken and you didn't have to do many laps lol. Xx
I probably sound like a broken record but I love you guys! What a comedy routine. Seriously I have been struggling with some 'rites of passage' and I really needed the laughs! Thank you.
Nice job on feeding the animals. That chicken got out and was hollaring call grandpa.. i need grandpa .. Please get grandpa.. So glad all is well on Doss farms. You are doing really well Matt. My generation has the hankie in the back pocket.. God bless.. Love you too..❤
Matt you’re doing a great job 👏🏻! You kept that crazy rooster from the dogs😊. Super Dad Ralph finished saving the 🐓! Then carried the camera for you😊. Calmed the piggies down with food 😁! The goats got their food and treats! The pups got their treats and broke in your new jacket with some mud😆! It’s a good day 😊. Thanks for filming, take care, and God Bless 🙏🏻🤗💕!
I learned after my first batch of hens never to use a net again. I got all my hens used to me shaking a container of BSF larvae and they would come running. That's how I would get them back in the yard, too. Even though I had bird netting over the top of their yard, I found a few places where they could squeeze through fencing.
Always have to have a surprise visit from GrandPa... BS was just wild today lol...Such a beautiful bird... And Mags he is gorgeous 😍 💖 thanks for another banger Matt and GP

Those chickens were having a meeting when you surprised them. I could just hear them saying, “shush, he’s coming “. They were planning what to do to give you a hard time. You handled it like a champ, call dad. Just kidding. It’s always good to see you. Love and luck from NC.

Matt. My Dad, Mom and Granny said it's all in the way you fold the used part of the hanky toward the inside so the clean areas are outermost. I prefer tissues, like you.
Glad you have fun and you take good care of all the animals. Great sense of humor. Best Dad and Mom in the world, Super Dad saves the day! 😄 Thanks for sharing, love and prayers 😇💜
Hi Matt you are doing really well with the animals. Grandpa thanks coming and getting the escapee chicken, as the chicken was being a pain running away from Matt. Even though kleenex tissues were introduced in 1927, By the 1980s, facial tissues had displaced the handkerchief as a more hygienic alternative.
