I played blackjack in Vegas with Reggie once. He was super friendly showed his cards to help other players and even took off his Hall of fame ring and rolled it across the table for me to see. I left the table winning $500 so the experience was a good one.

George Harrison didn’t send me an autograph but he DID send me a meditation lapel pin. I was choked up and thrilled.
Since you are going to see Billy Bob Thorton, hang out by the bus, if possible. He was super chill when he played my small town and I spoke with him before, during, and after his show. I literally felt like I could have walked to the nearest bar and had a beer with him, He took alll the time needed to just hang with everyone and he treated me like I was a friend. I'm seeing him again in October.
Yep, he is super cool and doesn't hide in his tour bus.

I started writing stars in the 80's. You could buy home addresses for a dollar from some guy in LA. My apartment has DOZENS of signed 8x10's all free as the only ones I paid for were from autograph dealers.....thanks for the video Jordan.

I used to write to celebrities in the 80's the only response was a year later from MJ's people. I was appreciative of that. That's it, no one else ever responded 😞 Very cool Jordan, I'm glad you got some cool stuff!👍💯😎

Just an FYI, I have seen the Boxmasters a few times and they usually got out to the merch table after the show and sign as well as take pictures with fans. Billy Bob was really cool.

I heard Larry Hagman once say in an interview that when people would approach him for autographs , Larry would first ask them to tell a joke , sing a song , or say a prayer , then he would sign the autograph . But he said eventually the jokes started getting too dirty , so he stopped asking for jokes , because some of the dirty jokes were coming from kids .
I used to write baseball players all the time as a kid. It was always 50/50 getting something back. It was fun either way. I remember you had a video with Tony Oliva, I wrote to him several times. I love the old timers.
For my wife’s birthday I wrote from the day after her previous birthday 365 birthdays cards. I sent one out a day. I got probably 100 back. Celebs who do not live in the USA were the most responsive. Richard O Brien hand drew a picture of himself. Terry Gilliam drew a picture of a cake with a candle. Roman
Polanski drew a picture of a candle. I did not ask them to do this. I just wanted them to sign the card. They and others from outside the U.S. went above and Beyond.

I have one from George Strait. It is rhe most cherished autograph I have right along with Jimmy Stewart.

I wrote to Johnny Depp during his trial but never got anything back and I wrote to Robert Redford I did say I was not expecting anything back from RR but then I was told his staff only have important letters to attend to . So you are so lucky to have these Jordan
Johnny depp does respond to mail, but it is apparently a preprinted signature or an autopen..

Goes to show some of the more famous celebrities will sign for nothing. And the not so famous ones ask ridiculous prices. I am sure there was a female celebrity, that use to charge a small amount, but then give the money to charity.

I remember back in school they had the scholastic book order where you would look through the flyer thingy and order books. I had one time ordered a book with celebrities names and addresses.

I used to do this. Mostly sending hockey players pucks or 8x10s to football and basketball players. I got a Steve Martin photo I sent back. Could be a facsimile or secretary graph tho. Gotta watch out for those

In the 80s, I wrote to Charles Bronson requesting an autograph. I got an autographed photo in the mail and I was all happy and then soon after I received another one on which the signature was totally different. I threw them both in the trash. Of course, at the time we didn’t have the Internet to be able to compare them so I didn’t know if either one or neither were authentic.
It's a shame that some of the stars( celebrities) won't sign, or have to pay to sign. IMO If it wasn't for us non celebrities who go see their movies/ concerts, buy the music, etc they wouldn't be famous. Other then me venting 😂😂. Great vlog Jordan 😘
Mainly its because people sell them. They dont want people profiting on their celebrity and not them.

Chevy Chase… I know a few years ago he stopped signing and you would get a letter from his wife saying he is no longer signing bc he was in poor health.
My favorite autograph is scott Michaels ( jordan you know him)
Really cool video back when I was in college I would send a baseball cards to players. I never knew if I was gonna get any of them back but I did my favorite was John Smoltz and Will Clark. I hung out with John couple years before when he was in the minors, his best friend from high school was one of my best friends in college. Very cool guy.

For years Chevy sent secretarial signatures. You got either lucky or Chevy has mellowed in his old age. He used to be a terribly hard signature to obtain.
