Yo, Bro man. This is by far the most complete demonstration/configuration in regard to the controller. Blessings and kudos to you, Brother.
Thanks so much for the clear step by step. I couldn't anything from manufacturer that helped me.
Your video was on POINT!!! My church is building a new building is in need help with A/V. I have been researching myself on how to build infrastructure and your video shows how easy it is to set up!
Just had myself a praise party!!! Been working on my setup for a while, and THIS video got it going!! Thank you!!!
Glad to hear it. 😆
Just got my cameras today (1080). Thanks for sharing this info. I got my joints up in 10 min due to this tutorial. Now I have to figure out how to pull it into VMIX. Thanks a million Bro....
I spent an entire day trying to figure this out from the manual before I found your video. Thank you for this!
My pleasure 😊
I had the same problem. I bought my camera over 6 months ago for my church. I couldn't get it connected over the ethernet so I just used the remote with a hdmi cable. Now I will try this method. Thank you so much for this video.
@@stevehawkins8066 You're welcome 😊
Man I was literally trying to find your company on google just to call and thank you by voice. Great video - thank you so much for making this!
You're welcome 😊
Thank you. The AViPAS manuals have all the tech data, but they don't provide a "how to".
BTW, if someone forgets their password, the fix is to do a factory reset and do all these steps from scratch. I think you can set the IP address of most cameras by bringing up its image on a screen, pressing MENU on the infrared remote, and setting it there, if you don't have a laptop connected to your Ethernet switch. But the way you did it is better.
This video was very helpful in guiding me towards getting the church’s new camera to talk to the controller. Thank you!
Thanks a lot brother! This info was very helpful for our Church. God bless.
God bless you. I have been looking for a video like this for months. Thank you so much.
It's my pleasure. Thanks for watching. More to come, hoped you subscribed to the channel. Be blessed!
I have just started working with AViPAS cameras so this was a great video to watch. You know how to hold your audience. I would like to see a video on how to market yourself, what services do you offer and tips on how to make money on something you and I obviously enjoy doing for work. I would like to start a business like this in the Boston area.
This was a great and detailed video. Thanks for sharing
AWESOME JOB! Very thorough and complete. I especially like that you went through a second time - that really helped things to stick. Kind of a trip seeing your setup - i tried to come up with an ideal portable setup about 5 years ago, but never had a plan that I was satisfied with in terms of functionality and price .Looking at your video - this is it! Exciting to see how it comes together, and to hear that it really works
Thank you Trenillo for this video. Awesome job!
Thanks for all the help, I finally order my gear based on your video. I followed your instructions and nothing but success. Blessing to you my brother!!
Awesome, and enjoy your new gear. 😀
Hey Trinello,
I was think about get this camera for Zoom meetings that my family& I attend and participate in. I like the idea of being able to have preset camera angles. Is this camera compatible with Zoom?
Thanks Trenillo, helpful for setting up our Church Media system
Awesome video. This was very helpful. Thank you!
Thanks for this great video!! It was a lifesaver.
Thanks for Sharing. Setting up the camera for a Church. Great info.
Great video sir. Very easy to follow. Thanks and keep up the great work.
It was a very good presentation. Than you.
Thank you so much Bishop. It was my pleasure. Keep me lifted in your prayers. 🙏
We need people like you. thank you so help full. Do you have any video about audio input? If the PTZ doesn't have one built in.
Thank you very much. Just got the setup done for the church and it works great. My question is there a way to connect to a monitor for the cameras
I'm using the Atem Mini Pro Extreme multi view to see the 4 cameras that I have, via a flat screen monitor. I use the SDI out of the cameras and convert the signal over to hdmi with the Blackmagic SDI to HDMI converter.
Hey, you are the only person I've found on UA-cam that are using these cameras with VMIX. Brother I need some guidance on 2 issues I'm having. I've contacted support and they cant help me. I'm running out of time. If you see this message please write back. I'm willing to pay for some time picking your brain. I hope your checking your comments.. PEACE..
What's your issue 🤔
@@trenillo hey. Thanks for the reply. When I put my Ethernet on static IP, the camera works as it should but my internet won’t go to certain websites that I need one being Facebook. When I switch it back to automatic, I get the websites back but I lose the camera. And #2, is it possible to control the angles (presets) in vmix. I want to have multiple angles with one of the cameras but I don’t see the AVIPAS on the list of cameras you can control. If that’s not an option, how can I go about getting multiple angle for my production. I have two AVIPAS cameras, a C200, and two iPhones in my production. I use the xkeys to switch between cameras. It I can’t figure out how two set a few angles per AVIPAS cameras. FYI, I don’t have the AVIPAS controller. Hope this all makes sense.
Awesome!!! Thanks for taking time and explaining I am a starter doing livestream at my church for my group of prayer every Friday. I have an atem mini pro hope to see more videos like this. definitely subscribing to your channel thumbs 👍 💯
P.s can you do a video on the Atem mini pro with these cameras?
Yes I can do that!
Tree,
You are the best! Thanks for your video on the AViPAS. You are very detailed and clear.
Not sure why your video channel does not have thousands of subscribers. You are deserving of millions!
I am planning to buy 3 of these cameras for my church set up. One question if you could answer, Can these cameras allow for flipping the image for ceiling mounting in the AViPAS software.
I am planning to run our stream through our ATEM Mini and don't want to use any other software , like OBS in the line. I was hoping that the AViPAS could do the flipping within its software? I saw your answer to another previous comment on this but I was not too clear when you said that the AViPAS cameras could work upside down if you were including another software like OBS? Thanks for your help.
Blessing on you and yours
John
Extremely helpful. Thank you!!
my controller joystick will not pan or zoom anymore, how do I fix it? and how do I use the tour, patrol, pattern, run buttons?
Super helpful, thank you!
YOU ARE A MIRACLE ! THANK YOU !!!
Thanks
Excellent Video Sir! Keep up the good work.
Cool Video Tre!!!!!
I love u Big Bro! Thank You.
Thanks 😊
Would you be interested in trying our new PTZOptics Hive Cloud Based controller?
You really did brother thank you!!!
This is an awesome video!!! I would like to see how you connected the Avipas Control to the ATEM Mini.
The controller doesn't connect to the ATEM Mini, only to the remote cameras. Then the cameras connect to the ATEM Mini via sdi to hdmi converter.
Great video...
Really good info. Thanks
Hello, really nice video explaining how to set this cameras up, but I have a question, do you have some footage recorded with them, not just those 2-3 mins from this clip, because I'd like to order some but because we're not from NA we want to check how good the quality is compared with what we have now. Thank you!
Here's a church play that was shot with 4 of these cameras along with the controller and Blackmagic ATEM Mini Extreme ISO
drive.google.com/file/d/1OWgT_EfvX7fcw2Vvk5ar37vFp2In-Nas/view?usp=drivesdk
Thanks for the video. Please, could you kindly explain how you connected the controller to the computer? Did you connect the LAN switch/hub to the computer directly or did you connect the LAN switch/hub to the WiFi modem/router? How is the computer able to see the camera controller?
And the 2nd question is this: those settings like color temperature that you were able to adjust in the web browser; were they from the video switcher or the camera joystick controller?
Email me your contact info trenillo@hotmail.com 😀
Thank you so much this helped a lot
You're welcome 😊
I use two AV-1281 HDMI PTZ cameras with the HuddleCamHD joystick serial controller at my church. I use the browser based setup on the cameras. We may go with the AViPAS AV-3104IP controller. Anyway, I was wondering if you or anyone has a video to adjust color, brightness, and contrast. I have been working with it in our sanctuary but I can't get the colors to come out right.
Man great video but I did the network adapter change and I couldn't access the internet after wards where did I go wrong
You need to change your camera and controller over to the IP of your internet. Meaning, if your internet IP is 192.168.43.1 for example your camera and controller need to be on the same IP except for the last digits. The .1 is for your internet, .10 could be your controller, .20 could be your camera one and .30 could be your camera two.
You need to find out what's your internet router IP and go from there.
Great video! Can you tell me how you hooked those cameras to the Atem? I don't see a HDMI output on those cameras.
SDI to HDMI converter
www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1607021-REG
@@trenillo Thank you for that.
Is there anyway you can put the camera in easyworship
The video is from these cameras are SDI-HD, which can be converted over to any device input with the correct converter interface. I'm currently using the Blackmagic SDI to HDMI converter and then connecting it to my ATEM MINI PRO.
Hope that this helps you 🙏
Tree, thanks for this video. As a volunteer at church we are trying to make things easy for live stream. I noticed you said that camera 2 is coming through the black magic. How are you connecting it to the black magic? Thanks!!!
I'm using the Black Magic SDI to HDMI converter. There are many brands that are just as good though.
How many cameras does this controller support simultaneously? I need to connect 8 cameras, can I or do I need 2 controllers? Thanks for the detailed video btw, you were such a help.
You can control more than 8 if you wanted to. There are 4 quick camera select buttons on the unit, but you can also assist the other cameras by selecting the camera button and typing in the camera number 5 to 8 and so on. So the answer is yes you can control 8 or more cameras easily. 👍
I tested my system again and you can control up to 999 cameras. Hope this helps you. 😉
Need help! I made sure to follow everything you said, as well as the manual for my specific cameras. Today my MacBook Pro is not able to go to certain websites. It keeps saying “unreachable.” I only changed the IP Settings for the Ethernet only, not the WiFi.
How do I fix this???
Sorry but I'm not a Mac user so I can't help you out with this one. 😔
thanks so much for this helpful video, do you know how far you can place the camera from a person so its still in focus? thanks!
The signal is SDI, which you can do long cable runs. Recommended no more than 300ft.
hello. Are the camera positions saved forever or do I have to reconfigure them every time the controller is turned on? Thanks
The positions are locked in until the next time you save them.
Nice set up!! Really thinking about getting this. How do you set this up on the OBS for livestreaming? Can you do a video on this?
Yes I can do a video for OBS and using the camera via ethernet. Though I personally don't like doing this because of the delay in the video doing it by ethernet. For real time viewing it's better to use the SDI or HDMI depending on what camera you purchase. Then connect that to a video interface so you can bring it into your OBS. But I'll still create the video for your knowledge.
@@trenillo That would be great!! Thank you.
How’s it going sir, do you give assistance to churches, I have the Avipas with IKan Ottica cams and can’t get them connected
Email me your contact info. trenillo@hotmail.com
great tutorial. is it possible to connect 1 PTZ camera only direct to the remote controller without the need to go through a router or ethernet switch?
Yes, but you will need to connect the camera to its own power, as with the hub would normally supply the power over ethernet. But yes you can connect one camera directly to the controller.
@@trenillo not sure if it's my unit that is faulty. My controller tends to switch from onvif to IP Visca automatically from time to time. Have you experienced that?
No I don't have this issue.
@@trenillo Thanks
Thanks for the video. I was looking at these cameras. What has been the max distance that have been able to set these up from the subject?
With SDI you'll be able to do far cable runs, but it's suggested 300 feet.
I did all the steps but then when I get to 18:35 and press Search nothing pops up
I need help set up joystick controller please
Send me your contact information trenillo@hotmail.com
How are you doing sir?
Can you mount these cameras on the ceiling and invert the picture? I’m looking for something new at the Church. We currently use 1 video camera with a video capture card and are looking to upgrade to at least 2 cameras. 1 for the preacher and 1 for the congregation.
Yes you can invert the video with these cameras.
There are instructions on how to control the camera presets via stream deck and obs but I can't get it to actually switch positions when I hit the stream deck key I set according to the instructions.
I've only used the cameras with the AV-3104IP controller, so I don't think I can be of any help for you. But I willing to check into it though. 😕
can I get the link to the firmware upgrade please
Great video. I just got this package for my church. I'm having issues with the camera blurring the bottom third of the screen or even pixelating or freezing at times. Do you why this might be happening? Thanks.
What are you bringing your video signal into? I use the ATEM Mini Extreme ISO PRO. I never experienced any freezing and the only blurring I've experienced was when a light source was pointed directly into the camera lens. 🤔
@@trenillo into my desktop. i5 7300u cu @ 2.60 ghz 2.71 ghz with 16 gb ram. Forgive me, I'm not a computer guy.
@@trenillo Tree, any thoughts? Is there something cheaper I can go into before the computer?
@@erichesselbach8604 these are on the lower end of prices. 🤭
Do you guys think it is possible to use AViPAS PTZ camera with a third-party PTZ controller?
I have and they worked fine. As a matter of fact I was using the Huddle Cam HD controller with my cameras first before I got the AVIPAS controller. But you will need to operate the camera via the RS-232 port, rather than through the ethernet. But yes it will still work.
Would I need a PC driver to use the controller??
No the controller can be setup and used without connecting it to a pc.
Can you make a video on setting them up with the ATEM mini pro
No problem, that's will be a quick video. But I can tell you what I use, the Black Magic sdi to hdmi converter to send the video signal from the camera to the mini. That all it really is. www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1607021-REG/blackmagic_design_convcmic_sh03g_wpsu_micro_converter_sdi_to.html?sts=pi&pim=Y
How do I get in contact with you.
Hello Mr.Walters I wanted to know how I can connect with you I am in the DC/VA border and I am a TD Consultant
Email is trenillo777@hotmail.com
I keep getting an error saying connect timed out when I try to access a camera. Do you know what that means? Or what I can do to fix this?
It sounds like your controller, camera or router is not sharing the same IP address except for the last digits. First make sure your controller and router are on the same network path. Also connect a pc on the same network so you can bring up the controller's setup window in your browser.
We are looking at getting 2 AViPAS AV-1082G. Is the cat5 hub needed or can it be done with the remote wirelessly?
You can use the remote as well. I've done that a few times before.
I am in Maryland and need to contact you. I need your services for my church.

How do I connect 1280”s on MacBook Air
I'm a pc person all the way, but I'll get my wife's Mac and test her's. But as long as you can put your Mac on the same IP address as the camera, then you should be able to use the Safari to connect to the camera.
Do you have to have wireless internet to get a live feed of the camera
You can receive the video video wireless or wired ethernet, and by the SDI output of the camera.
Hey Tre I need your help please I follow your guide on how connect the camera on the network, its work but I have problem , I have 3 cameras on the network but I only find one camera, how can I put multiple cameras please help

Need help! The controller of my church’s AVIPAS cameras stopped working! I don’t know what sharpened. I didn’t change any settings. Not even the “use DHCP” setting on the Ethernet. Right now I can’t access the controller nor the cameras via up in the web browser.
The controller keep saying “network broken!”
If you can't access the controller or the cameras, then they're not the problem. It sounds like it's the ethernet hub or router that's the issue. You might want to check that. 🤔
@@trenillo I believe the Ethernet switch is working. I plugged the video switcher into it and the slot I plugged it in shows that there is power being supplied. We don’t have our internet router plugged into the switcher at all. The person who installed the camera system might have done so during setup, but did not keep the router plugged into it.

Can I use any PTZ camera with it?
This keyboard controller only can connect up to 4 cameras only?
No, you can connect up to 255 cameras.
Do I have to have everything going through a switch to communicate, or can I hook straight the camera
You can go straight into the camera, but that limits you to one camera and you will need to plug in the camera's power cord. The switch would normally send power for the camera over ethernet, POE.
I have the Avipas 1082G and I cannot get it to show a good image. It always looks blurry and the TV display on my stage only shows light with no details of the image on the TV.
How are you bringing your video in, through the USB or ethernet cable? 🤔
@@trenillo I bringing it through USB.
I've never worked with this model but I'm quite sure the camera quality is the same as the one I have. How are you controlling the camera, remote control or web browser? To see all the functions of the camera I would suggest using a web browser to log in. From what it sounds like the focus of your camera maybe off a little.
@@trenillo we use the camera through Zoom and stream through UA-cam. The camera is mostly static during streaming so we use the remote to control it. Which is ideal for connection, usb or Ethernet?
Good video, but I suggest turning off the background music. Repetitive and very annoying.
Ernest you're the only complainer. 🤨
@@trenillo His username says it all! Don't mind him/her. Your video was well-enjoyed
Is the hub connected to the internet ?
Yes you can connect it up to the internet, but you need to make sure that you change the cameras and controller's IP address to match that of your router. I use one of these cameras on my local system at home for my personal Webcam and it works fine. 🙂
How to create presets?
Are you running cat5 or 6 for long runs to your POE switch?
I've been using cat5 and ran up to 200', and it worked fine 🙂
@@trenillo thank you! Your videos are great!! Hopefully you will do more.
Do I need to set a static if I'm setting it up on a permanent Mac. It's not moving. Setting up for my church.
I have one connected to my PC for my permanent Webcam and yes it's still setup as a static address but instead of the default 192.168.5.163, my home router third digit is 0. So you need to make sure that your camera's IP address first three digits are the same as your router, then set the forth digit to its own number. If you setup the camera to obtain a automatic IP address it could change everytime you turn the camera on. It's not a guarantee that it will be the same ip everytime.
@@trenillo I'm using the same controller you have with 2 cameras avipas 1281.. tried following your steps but I'm using a apple desktop and it's not connecting to the controller via up address. IPv4
Every device that is part of the internet has an address. A unique identifying number so all the other devices can find it. The address is in the range between 0.0.0.0 and (255.255.255.255) (there are no numbers higher than 255 in these addresses). The addresses that start with 192.168 are reserved for private networks that won't ever connect to the internet.
I know what you're saying. But my computer's address starts with that, and that is connected to the internet.
Sort of.
It isn't really though.
_Your modem is connected to the internet_ and your computer is on a private network created by your modem (or more likely, you're router, which might be built into your modem if you are using the one from your isp (internet provider).
So you're private _intranet_ (internal network) in your home uses the 192.168 suffex to every device. And so does everyone else's, because they aren't technically _on the internet,_ they're being "hidden" behind your modem.
You get 256 subnetworks to choose from, those are the third digit in the address. The: 192.168.xxx. the xxx part. Then you get 256 devices per subnetwork. Those addresses are assigned to the last of the three digit numbers 192.168.xxx.yyy (the yyy).
When you are setting the cameras (and probably the joystick dingus), they probably all need to be on the same subnet. So in the case of the video here, they would all need to follow the 192.168.5.yyy, where yyy is the camera number. 5 is the subnet.
You can use any subnet you want. In fact, if you had a complex multi camera set up, you could probably group them by subnets so the operators couldn't see each other's camera feeds.
When you type an address of a camera into your web browser, it is literally going over the ethernet cable to the camera and then your browser is becoming a display for the little computer in the camera. (It is possible to manage any computer this way so long as it is set up correctly. You could just type in the computers local ip address that you assigned it and use it like it is in front of you (assuming everything on the computer will allow you to do that, that's a-whole-nother post).
Don't worry so much that you get the right numbers in the ip address. Really, it's up to you, the network admin, to decide what the numbers are in the first place. You just need to make sure that they agree on all the devices.
Of you want your camera to be 192.168.69.42, go ahead. You're joystick (and maybe computer) will just need to be on the 69 subnet too... That's what she said.
Ip addresses aren't scary. Don't worry about it.
Hello great video by the way. I actually got my first contract to setup a live stream studio for a client. Since these cameras do not have ndi. How are you adding it to obs with only a Ethernet cable?
Is this through web browser capture option in obs?
Or URL capture.
I want to add it to obs without having to crop it.
I'm bringing my video through the SDI to HDMI converter into my Blackmagic Mini Pro. But you can also bring the video into OBS, via ethernet url address, but the delay was to much for me so I didn't go that route. But yes if you have the ability to go NDI then most definitely go that way. Much simpler setup.
Where to buy in europe?
You might want to check AViPAS web site. They might have that information there.🤔
