Good video. 1) How to use the control board to tell the camera to begin it's auto tracking function? 2) How to make the M1/M2/F1/F2 buttons do something?
Can you do a video on how to set patrol preset, zone preset, set pattern, and call patrol & pattern, thanks, I have the same controller no instruction on how to do this, I can set the presets positions, just don't know how to transition from one point to another with the presets with the zone or pattern presets
Hello, I have some problems connecting AVKAM 20X ptz cameras with this controller, the first time it connected without any problem, now I can connect them, it sends me the message connection failed, can you please help me
Hi I Bought a Hsility Controller and a Fomako Camera, but I have not been able to connect the two. I am thinking that the Fomako camera works only Fomako board. Can you help please.
Hello, you made a presentation about the FoMaKo IP Lan Controller (some time ago). What do you think is the better choice for controll ptz ip and non-IP Ptz camera's with one device/controller?
I would say the FoMaKo has the edge over this one. We don't use the preview screen on this often and the other has better button lay out. But, it's also more expensive. Either will work fine really.
PTZoptics G4 Joystick Controller will do both. You hold the center button on the joystick down for 6 to 8 second to switch between network/IP/ POE and analog/serial. Note this is not an NDI controller.
Just curious, i saw there is no iris setup in your PTZ setting, are you can a just the iris PTZ camera from the controller? Because in some ptz setting, like minrray i saw there is iris setup in ptz menu/settings.
hi i need help, when i connect my internet to the poe switch and the camera and controller, i am only seeing the camera through the web browser, but the controller wont see any cameras what am i doing wrong?
Are the cameras and controller setup to be on the same network? The controller can be set to use DHCP to join your network, but it's best to give the camera it's own IP address. If they are on the same network you should be able to do a search on the controller then add it to your list.
You can use a cat 5, 5e, or 6 cable and using only two of the wires, connect them using an RS485 connection. This is a serial connection to you can use a budget HuddleCam PTZ controller which only works with PTZ cameras. The wires are connected to the cameras and PTZ controller using the phoenix 3.5mm greenish plugs that should come with the devices. I recommend you connect the PTZ camera to the controller using the DB9 to 8 pin mini DIM port on the cameras and set the visca address for each camera one at a time with the other cameras turned off. The number you assign will be the "Cam" number on the PTZ controller. i.e. Camera VISCA 2 = CAM2 (Since all cameras should be set to VISCA 1 by default, you will not have ot change that one. Then assign the same number to the remote control so one remote can control up to 4 cameras. Point the remote at the camera and press # * F2 . Now if you press the 2 at the top of the remote it will talk any cameras assigned to VISCA 2. (CAM3 = F3, CAM4 = F4)
@@revandrem The controller should have an IP address of 192.168.100.80 Network I/F VIsca (UDP), Target Port: 1259. You may have to set the controllers\'s IP as a static 192.168.100.80, Gateway 255.255.255.1 then use the remote control on the camera. Using CAM 2 as an example: Press * # * 2 This will set that camera to IP 192.168.100.82 (Short cuts are mighty handy!)
I have the same setup and have been using it over a year now. Recently, the IP disconnects and connects by itself. it stays on for about 10 seconds and then disconnects again. this keep happening the whole time. what is wrong?
Hello my name is Bernard, I have the same controller for my PTZ camera in my church and i am having a bit of an issue i am looking to fix if possible you are able to help me. It has been working just fine for the last 1 year now and i like the quality but now i am noticing that for some reason it sometimes disconnects from the IP and the screen turns black and i cannot control the camera during a live stream. When that happens i am still able to see the camera in my preview monitor but not on the PTZ controller. I usually have to wait til the controller connects back to the IP automatically or i do a search of the IP and connect to it again but then after a while it disconnects again. I don't know why it's doint this or what's causing the controller to do this. Could it be a controller issue or PTZ camera issue? I'm not sure. Your help would be much appreciated in me fixing this issue please if possible.
It speaks a couple of standard protocols including ONVIF. So long as the cameras support one of those standards you should be fine. Haven't tested Hikvision so not sure about that specifically.
We have a similar setup for two ptz cameras. The video format is set on the back of the cameras by a numbered dial. The cameras hdmi feed and , a computer display are feed into a Roland v-1hd switcher . A hdmi switch distributes the video to the 7 screens around the church, One of the hdmi distribution outputs goes to our main desktop computer in the sound booth to record the video. Here is problem! With ProPresenter 7 running the video is very choppy. Lots of dropped frames. Cameras are set to 1080p59 so the displays are smooth. If ProPresenter 7 is not running the recorded video is good with ProPresenter 7 it is very choppy. Do you have any experience with ProPresenter 7 that might help? I have set the bit rate to 6 Mbps. Looks like I may have to record on a 2 pc. Thanks
We don't use ProPresentor we use Proclaim, so I'm not sure exactly. I do know, like all presentation software, ProP is a resource hog. So my guess is you hit the limit of either your CPU or harddrive. If you are on PC open task manager before you get started and see what the levels are at for CPU use when it's bad.
Thanks, I have checked disk, cpu, you utilization early on troubleshooting. Did not see significant difference. I will probably have to use a second dedicated pc to record. Thanks for you hard work. I am sure lots of church AC staff need to see you videos. Rwp
@@ADKDIO-Camera. Not sure what you mean. One of these outputs goes to a capture board on a computer used only for recording and streaming. The other outputs go to large hd tv inside the church. Hope this helps.
Great channel. I'm developing a simpler controller for IP PTZ cameras that also use an ATEM switcher.. If you're interested in demoing it and giving me feedback let me know.
You skipped a lot of beginner steps. How do I hook up to the network? Do I run an Ethernet from my WiFi to the camera or from my computer to the camera? Where do you go to on your computer to find the place where you type in the IP address? Do I need to buy a program for my computer to run the camera? Where do I buy the program? The camera manufacturer won’t tell me anything. I’ve looked at 50 UA-camrs that don’t explain these basic questions. I feel like a sinner looking for Jesus, but no one can tell me how to be saved. The best advice no one else offered! Thank you!😅
