Seems like we confused people with this video. I apologize for any confusion. I will try and simplify it here. Every coating requires maintenance to stay working effectively. Contamination can build up over time and doesn’t come off with normal washing. Properly washing your car is key to preventing damage from elements such as bugs, bird droppings and other contamination. It will also minimize washing induced damage like marring and swirls. Use M4 to remove this contamination and film build up. Use M2 to as a lubricant when drying to add a layer that will fight against water spotting. Use M3 to remove scale and build up left behind from dried up water (water spots)
Hey guys! Since you're the experts. I just coated my car and two days later when I drove it outside of the garage I noticed high spots. I bought a kit and have no more coating at home. Do you think its duable to polish of the high spots without taking away the coating entirely? I know how to polish and got a machine but first time with ceramic. Best regards from Sweden
Which Modesta product do you use every 6 months or year to do a detailed maintaintenace, to remove any iron, tar, type deposits? I would assume that the process used during this video would be the same if the windshield and windows were coated with Modesta, correct?

I have a crew cab long bed with a modesta coating and I haven't "agitated" smoke and I spray a rag instead of a panel with blast. I'm always getting compliments on how glossy my truck is. Happy I went with it.
I have the bc-04 coating and have not had a chance to wash it properly for honestly about 3 months or so. I didn't want to wash it half-ass with mediocre products. I was waiting to be able to afford quality soaps and some other stuff. Soon I will be able to wash it the right way. The water behavior is horrible just because it hasn't been washed and it's all clogged up. I heard him say that if the water behavior doesn't come back after using smoke then you'll have to use the smoke spray again until it comes back. I was just wondering if I had to wash the car entirely and then use smoke again or if I could just rinse off the first round of smoke, wait a few minutes, and then go again. Thanks in advance!
Wow, I actually love! The way this guy explains to use his products. The right way. And the let me do this fast, but efficiently and still get the most out of the products. Great video!!
One part confused me: you apply M4 after you've soap washed/rinsed your car? Then you RINSE OFF M4? And then spray on M2 and use that like a drying lubricant?
Hey guys! Thank you for all your videos! I'm a big fan. Wanted to pick your brain on Carpro products. I just got a modesta ceramic coating on my car. Can I use the Carpro Reload instead of Modesta M2Blast? And can I use Carpro Spotless instead of Modesta M3Fire or M5Flame? Although I love all the modesta maintenance product, just wanted to see if its safe to use other brands. Thanks again!
@chicago auto pros what compound & polish do you guys usually use for a paint correction. Nothing too bad. Just a regular paint correction with light swirls
There was probably a better explanation available. While it doesn't reflect on the quality of the product this does appear to be an example how to not prepare to answer questions in a video before it is presented to 149k subscribers. Every time I've watched myself in video I realize how much of a challenge it is to put oneself out there. It's not as easy as it looks.
I understood the process completely though I can see how some could have missed something. One question, and maybe I missed it, would this also apply if you have a ppf as well as Modesta?
It’s all to keep your car’s paint protected from harmful elements that eat away at clear coats and paints over time. The bonus is the glossy shine. Waxes are literally short term protections that can come off within 2-4 washes
You’re car will stay cleaner for longer. I did a test on my car where I coated half the hood. It was an eye opening experience after seeing how clean the coated side looked after two weeks vs the non coated side. It also will cut your maintenance time in half and also reduces the amount you actually have to touch the car. The less you have to touch it the better. Many people don’t understand until they actually coat their car. It is 100% not necessary, but if you love your car and want to keep the paint in the best shape possible and make the washing process more enjoyable then a coating is awesome. For me it also adds this glow about the car after it’s coated, maybe no one would even notice, but I can tell the difference when a car is coated.
I agreed Modesta is one of the best product for Ceramic Costing but those little maintenance bottles are one heck expensive that cost $50.00 in canadian.
@@ChicagoAutoPros I just read the description that you placed under the video and that helped a ton. I was not sure In What order or what was needed to maintain. I wash my car weekly so The more aggressive regimen may not be needed. Thank You!

Awesome information, if only modesta wasn't behind an installer wall. I would love to try this product line.
@maru mashi Aenso wash and talk video, they don't just take anyone for any reason.
Can i use a ceramic topper/detailer from another manufacturer on bc04?

Can i use carpro reset on modesta bc04?
While compounding I saw you removing the emblems, would you use the same emblem or buy a new one?
Once I apply M2 Blast how long will the extra water spot protection/sacrificial layer last?

Perfect Timing! I just picked up my car from the Glenview location and it looks amazing. I can't wait to see it in the sun.
Hopefully you will do a video on my upcoming customization!!!

Any chance you guys are gonna start making podcast episodes again? I lose so much time watching the videos 😅🤘💜
Yes, I would really like to get back to doing some podcasts
Can you explain the modesta line up pls

Please do a similar video for BC 06 wheel protectant 👍🏽
I believe the man said anything BC follows this process.
@@fpswick8458 Correct!

Same exact steps if you have PPF.
So if I maintain my car and get a detail every 6 months without a coating, what would be the benefit of getting a coating if maintenance is the same?
The gloss and protection it offers is second to none

Please, test Vonixx ceramic wax 🔥
This rep was all over the place.. 😂

Nobody needs this, just like nobody’s needs a $36 hamburger. If you want the best it’s just going to be more expensive.
I’m more confused then I was before I watched the video
What are you confused about? I would like to help.

Confusing back and forth with the video
A 20 minute video which could be 1 minute of information. 🤦🏻♂️
And this is why I stopped installing Modesta coatings. Yikes.
The modesta guy is shite. I’ve got this coating and it’s great but he’s putting me to sleep
