@@MunroLive your UA-cam channel is fantastic for helping get youngsters (like my son) interested in engineering. Apart from that, I personally really like the way how your team and you explain things. Top notch!
Oh my. Watching Sandy get choked up at the end was really heart warming. Sandy (and Cory and everyone at Munro and Associates) you deserve this and much more.
So happy for Sandy, I can't imagine how good it must feel to have the CEO of the company you used to work for, that had no time for ideas and opinions decades ago (even when they were good) to now tell you how much better that company is because of your work. And I know Jim wasn't CEO at that time, but that doesn't make it any less meaningful. Good job, Sandy.
Yeah he definitely just got the highest aware he could ever want, legitimised and shown respect to all the work he has done by the (IMO) the most prestigious auto manufacturer in the world. (Ford is THE car company, regardless of its current position)
Mr. Farley’s visit to Munro accomplished more than what a billion dollars of advertising could accomplish. He put a personal face on Ford, and came off as a very likable person. 👍👍🇺🇸
Absolutely. He was very vulnerable. What’s amazing is how much knowledge Elon Musk has over the entire automotive industry. Clearly Farley did a great job, but he clearly doesn’t know much about making cars compared to Musk. Fun to see this fireside chat. Thanks, Ford!
Likable? Lol 😄 😆 🤣 they got you drinking the kool-aid. American citizens should be throwing tomatoes at Farley and Friends...We should be holding everyone of the elitist of Ford including the senior engineers to the FIRE 🔥. Ford has been a enemy of the people since their inception, THEY ARE THE ENEMY THAT SMILES IN YOUR FACE.. and you people sop it up like a southern fat boy does molasis and biscuits... It makes me sick that the public is letting them get away with murder... These people are not your friends...in fact they are witholding advanced high density propulsion systems in battery electric and hydrogen technologies they haven't even admitted to yet. And won't unless it's FORCED out of their greedy grimey hands... Farley needs to be "briefed" in on a 100 years of secret classified r and d if he thinks that f150 lightning 🌩 is a legitimate attempt at redemption for their 100 years of sins...id spit in all their faces if I could get away with it...
@@GET2222 yes, I ABSOLUTELY think hydrogen is a viable option. Especially if the elitist would release the low pressure hydrogen hydride tank technology and quantum electrolyzer technology. Both technologies FORD AND GM built decades ago and never released to public market. They both did everything they could to keep it off the market. They also had advanced battery technologies they developed. They could realistically put a electric F150 on the market, battery or hydrogen with 1000s of miles of range...RIGHT NOW!!! Not years or decades but RIGHT NOW!!! They keep the public satisfied with 1st generation 1970s battery and solar pv technology never admitting to the public they could advance the tech 60+ years above and beyond anything they have publicly released. All sad attempts, even Elon musk is lying to the public about what is possible RIGHT NOW...
Unbelievable that the CEO of Ford would take EV’s and Monroe so seriously. I own a Tesla but I have no problem at all welcoming this man and his company into the car race of the future. Well done. After Elon Musk, I can’t think of any CEO that has impressed me more than Jim Farley. Very candid and smart. He even dared to say Tesla, unlike Barra from GM. It almost reminded me of “he who must not be named” from Harry Potter, where Jim simply dares.
There's plenty of room for other EV's. I am in deep with Tesla, with well past 1,000 shares. I think Ford has a tough mountain they have yet to climb but they get my respect.
Well said, its good to see humans conversing like humans and not animatrons. Though I'm sure every word was pre-planned it still seemed very off the cuff and honest.
I hope GM goes bankrupt, they are a leech on the Tax Payer. I want Ford to succeed. Ford has a long way to go, but they have a good hard working culture. I respect Ford. I do not respect GM. GM killed the EV1. They deserve to die for that. Profits over consumers safety is not a business model we should support.

I'm a Tesla fan boy, but my respect for Ford went through the roof. Jim Farley and his team seem to know where they are in the EV space and are working hard to be the #2 brand, they seem genuine and sincere and Mr. Farley has my respect. He isn't trying to blow smoke up anyone's arse or play anyone for a fool unlike GM and Mary Barra who think everyone is an idiot and believes thier lies.... After this interview, I believe Ford has a good chance of becoming a large competitor only if they can change the dealership experience and model their sales how Tesla does it. Well done...
Yeah you can see the mutual respect and peer relations between the three execs... Each of them is calling in the others to speak to an issue that's their own area... A good team always does that. A poor one looks fearfully at the boss to speak and quickly head nods everything.
I’ll just support your comment. Toyota RAV4 Prime…BZ is my choice simply need a SUV for my work and eagerly await Ford bringing a product to compete, not only as green but resale value.
GM will never be an EV leader with Mary Barra at the helm. She is not credible one iota, and neither are GM's EV vehicles. Making super-expensive EV's for the top 1% is a slap in the face for every average working American. Who needs overweight Hummers and Cadillac's? They won't do one thing to appreciably assist finding an answer to the climate change problem. GM is a sinking ship and reminds me of British Leland in the 1960-s to 1980's: they both have had clueless leadership. The Harley Earl days of putting lipstick on pigs and selling them to unsophisticated consumers are long over, as proven by Tesla.
Glad to see Jim acknowledge Sandy Munro’s influence. Someone needed to be brutally honest with the OEMs and have the credibility so they would hear him. Sandy is that person.
Says a lot that they respect him enough to come in person when they know he isn't going to let them off easy and throw them softball questions. He calls it how it is and he asked some very humbling and uncomfortable questions. How often do you see the interviewer of a CEO look them in the eye and tell them they are obviously number 2? Then he points out how far down they are in EV marke tshare and how Hyundai/KIA are kicking their butts. Lots of respect for Sandy and lots of respect for the Ford team for taking a real interview. Bet GM wouldn't be brave enough to do that...

I just cried tears of joy, streaming down my nose, when Farley praised Munro for his contributions to their company and the industry. It doesn't get much better than that. How far Munro has come with the exposure of youtube is amazing. With all the BS out there we crave arbiters of truth, and 99% of the time we won't get it on TV. It's been a pleasuring learning from the Munro team and I'm very happy for your success.
I agree, it was almost like winning an academy award. Just a few years ago Tesla was just a “flash in the pan” joke to these people. Sorry but the joke is on the rest of auto industry. Jim seems like an extraordinarily nice guy though.
WOW. Thank you Sandy. Not often do you have a chance to see the CEO and top level engineering and design people at a large company discussing their challenges in developing a new product. You and your team have helped educate so many people in how to make vehicles.
So proud of you guys. This has been my favorite moment at Munro Live. I'm just gobsmacked. Thank you Jim, Linda and Doug for making this happen. I've just gained a ton of respect for Ford leadership. Just awesome!
I respect only MUNRO & Tesla . Ford is more than a Decade behind Tesla. and making GAS Platform electric cars wont pan out. IF Ford were serious about BEV , then they would make EVERY one with a BEV skateboard and DELETE all the GAS platform TECH.
I'm just going to add to your comment since I couldn't have said it better. One thing I walked away with is that it appears to me that Ford may have a viable L3 autonomous solution that is more than just talk. I really got a sense that they've got something that they weren't ready to share, plus a backup plan. And way to hold it together there at the end Sandy. I got all watery eyed for you. I guess you're not the enemy you imagined. You're more like a rockstar. You deserve celeb status as the engineer's engineer.
@@FelixTheCat69 - NOPE , Ford does not have the RIGHT Technology & software. Ford has a 500 watt computer for ADAS and TESLA makes a LEVEL 4 FSD w/ only 25 watts power.
Literally chills from the humility Farley showed in his recognition of what Munro is doing to better the industry that je couldn't do as a Ford Employee! I can't describe it any other way that David and Goliath, but even more Awe inspiring, instead of killing Goliath, Sandy's shown the Giant of a corporation how it can be better and a powerful force for Excellence.
Jim Farley is a great CEO to do something like this. I'm happy for Munro but I'm even more happy that the world is moving in the EV direction. So excited for Ford's future 💪😎
At least Jim kinda gets it, but too little too late to keep Fords traditional position in automative. He says he is surprised by the uptake of EV's, surely he should have fully understood what Tesla has done. Ford is probably best positioned in the US but still have massive inertia.
John, I agree, Jim “kinda gets it”. But I think their heads have been in the sand when Elon was off and running. Ford has a winner in the 150E, charging and software may still pose challenges. I wish the best for all the auto manufacturers.
You are wrong John because Ford isn’t late into game especially for pick up trucks. General Motors and other legacy automakers are just getting into EV game as well. Ford is best car company in world especially at making pick up trucks period.
@@johnmqueripel2367 Ford is hurt by the terrible state of CCS charging. Ford is willing to pay testers to drive around and check if EA charger are working. They need to drop that silly nonsense and build their own chargers that are reliable.
I bet Sandy could never envision the day, back when he worked for Ford, that he would be visited by and praised so highly by the CEO of Ford. God that must feel great all these years later. Way to go Sandy !!
They are not here because of the Mach E. They are here because right now they have an advantage of manufacturing a quick to market pickup truck. It will be how they execute and evolve their plan to make efficient BEVs in the coming years
@@CptRameus It might be quick to market, but the design aspects are spot on. Now, as you said, they have to evolve to take advantage of what they've done so far.

Jim Farley keeps rising in my estimation. He's the American version of Herbert Diess, but with a far more agreeable and supportive Board of Directors. I don't know whether Ford survives the EV transition - they're awfully awfully late - but he's speaking the right language. That compliment to Sandy at end was classy and well deserved. Best of luck to Farley and Ford.
They even want me to buy a Ford EV after watching this video and I'm not even a Ford Van. Waiting for a 400+ Ford Cargo Van like the Sprinters that can carry 4,000-5,000 lbs. of food stuffs and cookwares in the tri-state areas.
I am surprised at their humility in all this, it seems they truly see their mistakes and are working as hard as they can to do the right things and get it done as fast as they can, but at the same time winning back their customers.
Apparently, you and most of the public doesn't actually have a clue as to the real "automotive history" the one in which Ford and Gm purposely kept battery electric and hydrogen propulsion technologies off the public market for nearly 100 years. Citizens should be locking up these people and corporations not praising them. I appreciate the rc Tonka toy truck but it's a far cry from what they should be doing for us 🇺🇸 Public needs to be holding these companies accountable for taking 100 years to bring the technology to public market and being the sole reason millions have died and suffered...
@@HydrogenFuelTechnologies Nonsense. The batteries that make the current generation of EVs possible didnt even exist THEORETICALLY until the 1970s, and didnt become commercially available until the 1990s, and didnt become energy-dense enough or stable enough until the early 2000s. Not long after those became available, Martin Eberhard infamously approached AC Propulsion with the idea and the funding to put them into the tZero sports car EV concept. When they decided not to commercialize it, he went on to found Tesla. There is no alternative universe where that would have happened faster. There may be an alternative universe where we still have electric street cars in the US or one where GMs EV1 went into full production... but lead-acid powered EVs were simply LITERALLY not able to keep up with ICE powered vehicles for most of those 100 years.

Wow, just wow. The respect that Ford have for Sandy and his team is just amazing, by fronting up with their top leadership and answering some pretty blunt questions honestly and generously. Serious kudos to Ford here. It's impossible to imagine Mary Barra and her team fronting up at Munro like this.
Well, I wasn’t expecting that ending and it looked like Sandy wasn’t expecting it either! Sandy is so humble, he’s simply a national treasure. I’m off outside to continue crying in the rain…..
Ford screwed 10 of thousands of customers over the 6.0 Powerstroke disaster as well as the spark plug issues of the 5.4 liter engines. They were nowhere to be found to help the people fix their vehicles! All they would do is say its going to cost you $20k to fix your truck. They still never were able to do it. Total F up and many customers just left their vehicles for the banks because they couldn't afford to fix them. I feel nothing for them anymore. I was the biggest Ford guy. My great grandfather owned a logging company and hauled logs for Henry Ford in Northern Michigan. Made him wealthy. I'm not rich but just saying. Go pound sand Ford.
Your opinion is valid, but so is being open minded to becoming a skeptical optimist in a company that is very possibly headed in a new and better direction.
Wow, I never thought I’d see Sandy so choked up. He deserved the accolades and it is nice to see Farley taking the time to visit and to lay that truth on Sandy. Gives me high hope for Ford! Sandy needs to realize the huge impact he has had on the automotive world. That’s the best outcome of this video!!!
A few years ago Ford appeared to be dead in the water. But with a CEO in Jim Farley I see them having an excellent chance. It started off polite, but then Sandy started to ask the pertinent questions, and the Ford leadership chose their words carefully but didn't shirk the answers. Respect to that. And Sandy has obviously been a bit of a voice in the wilderness over the years, so to get that tribute from Jim Farley at the end, from a company he worked for and was under appreciated at in his time, obviously meant a lot. No wonder he stumbled through the closure. Well done Munro & Associates. EDIT: Oh, and now we know about one of the vehicles that Munro was disassembling and couldn't tell us anything about.😁
It was a good interview. You could tell the Ford team was just trying to get by with the interview without spilling to many beans. The Compliment to Sandy was well deserved. He has been showing and telling a lot of CEO's and teams out there that Tesla is blowing them away and had been getting some bad press/comments from UA-camrs. Jim said exactly what everyone needed to be heard. Sandy has been the pioneer in the auto industry and he has Woken an industry that relied on Dealerships, UAW's and government officals to finally take a look and see the TRUTH. Great for Sandy...I was tearing after Jim said that to him. He's finally Earned the Respect.....BRAVO...
WOW, Just WOW, I’m so happy to see Sandy getting that recognition from Ford. They did not know what todo with his forward looking ideas back when he was at Ford, and now decades later they look to him and the company he built as a leader.
My Respect in Ford increased very much seeing this Video. Normal, honest People, with a realistic view on the industry, trying to catch the bus of EV transition. And giving Sandy kind of lifetime achivement award by delivering the truck to him in person. Great!

This will be the most memorable video that Munro Live has produced on so many levels this year. Great meeting of the minds. Thanks to Sandy , Cory and Ford Motor Company for making this possible.
Sandy's question starting at 00:06:30 is THE QUESTION every single person should be asking legacy auto when they get a camera and microphone on them. The answer they provide will tell us if they are really taking this transition seriously, but more importantly, if they have the right STRATEGY to do so. Jim's answer IMO was good - he seems to understand why EVs are so game changing. It's not the propulsion - it's everything else that you can do with an EV and the benefits they bring. It's the TRUE differentiation between their existing line up, and the next generation. Great to see it.
After finishing the video - I truly want to say how awesome of a discussion this was, and the props Jim gave Sandy must've been one of the most impactful things Sandy has heard, especially as of late. Munro's work is INCREDIBLY IMPORTANT in order to advance our civilization forward, but to also ensure countless jobs continue to exist. Competition allows all of us as people to benefit from better products, but to also have jobs out there so we can pay the bills and reach our goals. As Jim said - it's well deserved, and then some.
I’m still stunned that Farley and FORD didn’t see there was any value in an EV until they got feedback from buyers about the frunk and auxiliary power for power tools. The 1.5 million cybertruck preorders was all you needed Farley. Admit it. FORD HAD TO MOVE + INNOVATE OR DIE. I HOPE THEY MAKE THE TRANSITION TO EVs. Their ICE business is a dead man walking.
Sandy you deserve the recognition and so much more! The entire automotive industry should give you a well deserved commemoration for all your work and all of Munro&Associates. 🙏🏻❤️

They had to. They are trying to avoid going out of business since Tesla, and other BEV only companies, eat their lunch. Ford is playing catch up while dealing with UAW, dealers, debt wrapped into capital building ICE vehicles.
The friendly professionalism and humility of the people at Ford is very admirable. Kudos to them for being so down to earth and in tune with the industry. And that recognition for the work Munro does was awesome to see

Enjoyed this a lot. Sandy's question about vertical integration was great. They kind of danced around the answer but one of the reasons why the Big 3 went to outsourcing was cost and the other was the UAW could strike one of the small parts plants, it would shut the whole company down.
I remember watching the first few Munro Videos and thinking how amazing of a field this is with lean design. It's amazing to see the growth especially with the visibility from the UA-cam channel. Major props to the whole team. 👏
Very impressed with Mr Farley walking into the lion's den, so to speak. The Munro team is polite, but pulls no punches to save feelings from being hurt. At the end when he said, "is it comfortable?... no". Well that's a sign they are willing to face their problems and fix them, even when they're uncomfortable problems. I bet the mach-e thermal team wasn't happy with Sandy's reaction! Haha.
Kudos Sandy and Cory! Again we thank you and are honored for agreeing to be on the Poseidon AmphibWorks Board of Advisors and we know your guidance will be key to not only refining the design requirements but making sure the design will be able to be manufactured at low volume at lowest cost and highest reliability.
I will say, a lot of respect for Farley and Ford to go in the hot seat and have a real conversation on the future of EV. It’s easy for crappy CEO’s & “leaders” to hide behind buzzwords and corporate offices, but going out in the real world to have authentic conversations with customers where you don’t dodge questions and give legit answers, that counts for something. Still hitching my horse to tesla, but would like to see Ford succeed after seeing this.

The only thing holding ford back is the terrible state of CCS charging. Car companies that are serious need to demand a more reliable connector for any new chargers. Even if CCS has chargers, the plug has sagging issues that cause charge sessions to fail. It is a flaw due to the design of the connector, it is too large which lets the pins separate when it sags.

I am a Tesla owner, but was very impressed with Jim Farley and his team. The F150 Lightning looks like a winner to me and they will sell a ton of them. Much praise for Munro and Associates for telling it like it is and giving much deserved praise for the engineering in this winning truck.
The auto industry needed this kick in the pants for a long time. Now in this time of revolutionary change it’s more important than ever to get this right. I don’t see any other legacy auto company making these strides. Sandy’s wake up call to US companies is really needed.
Wow. I guess 312,000 subscribers and growing fast just talking about engineering stuff is real power. Congrats to Munro Co for this success. You deserve it and I think you make a real difference in the minds and hearts of many manufacturing companies for the better.
I saw the base model of this truck last week charging at Harris Ranch on I-5 in California. The owner showed me the frunk and interior and I was blown away at how nice this base model was. He was charging on an EA station and said that half of the EA stations there were down. All the Tesla chargers working fine. And Tesla is adding what looks like another 50 chargers at the site. I feel that Ford has to talk to Tesla and be able to charge on the Tesla system. They are adding massive supercharging stations along the interstates. You don't have to find a Walmart to charge. Jim Farley should take a road trip in a Tesla and have his eyes opened. A bad charging experience might kill the truck.
I think you hit it on the head. I have a model 3 and I like to think I’m not a Tesla fanboy. I do like the car and it’s great for what it does. My dad is older (72) and decided to go electric. He bought a bmw i4 and decided to pick it up in North Carolina and drive it back to Florida. He helped me pick up my Tesla in Ohio and drive it back and we didn’t encounter a single problem. That was a huge mistake on his part. He wanted to sell the car the second he got home. He almost ran out of charge and couldn’t get the charging working at the very first station he went to. He told me that there was a person towing with their lightning and was bitching even worse than he was about how hard it was to charge and tow and how none of the stations work. His car is beautiful and the interior is amazing compared to mine, but all these non Tesla companies need to figure out the charging becuase it’s going to get worse and worse. The second a new customer has a bad experience where a charger doesn’t work it’s all over. They’re going to tell all their friends about how they can’t road trip the car ever or go on long trips.
@@Grant5321 The guys at Now you Know bought their own Rivian, and the poor charging experience is killing it for them, including having to reboot the whole system twice to start charging - then getting very low rates for a big thirsty truck. While real engineers and designers don't have time to talk to useless people....they are actually doing work.
Agree , it must be a huge honor for him.
Yeah he definitely just got the highest aware he could ever want, legitimised and shown respect to all the work he has done by the (IMO) the most prestigious auto manufacturer in the world. (Ford is THE car company, regardless of its current position)

Great comment Walter.
Absolutely. He was very vulnerable. What’s amazing is how much knowledge Elon Musk has over the entire automotive industry. Clearly Farley did a great job, but he clearly doesn’t know much about making cars compared to Musk. Fun to see this fireside chat. Thanks, Ford!

Not Marilyn.
Citizens should be locking up these people and corporations not praising them. I appreciate the rc Tonka toy truck but it's a far cry from what they should be doing for us 🇺🇸
Public needs to be holding these companies accountable for taking 100 years to bring the technology to public market and being the sole reason millions have died and suffered...

@@Alexzw92 I could give a google gaggle fck less how you feel bout my "credibility"

Do a response video please
After finishing the video - I truly want to say how awesome of a discussion this was, and the props Jim gave Sandy must've been one of the most impactful things Sandy has heard, especially as of late. Munro's work is INCREDIBLY IMPORTANT in order to advance our civilization forward, but to also ensure countless jobs continue to exist. As Jim said - it's well deserved, and then some.
So true. It’s really the value of the customers time that is the real game changer.

Haha.
Well they did say it was the 2:nd best in the industry...! :)
@@finnurth No, they said it was a distant second best. Big difference.
Wow... just WOW. This is gold! Excellent job Munro and Ford.
Love Sandy’s humility. 👏🙏
Congrats Sandy and Team! U guys deserved that honor from Jim.
Thanks Bryan
Amazing show. Thank you, Jim, Linda, Doug, to deliver the Lightning and sit down for this great interview.
This is the best, honest, most respectfully (car-)business interview I have seen in a while. Thank you for making the world a better place.
What a great surprise for a Monday. Really Looking forward to seeing what Ford will do in the years to come
The "humble" competency of all involved was good to hear. Impressed.
What a fantastic interview!! Ford gets it; you see what's coming and have a plan to get there... cheers! Thanks for sharing this interview with all of us Monro Live!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Sandy and Staff,
Extraordinarily well done!
Cheers,
Eric
Thanks Eric
AWESOME!!!! Sandy, after decades of no one in the industry listening to you or giving you a second thought, at least publicly. You are making a difference! Your perseverance, hard work & long hours has paid off. Thank you Ford execs for having the leadership to give Sandy & Munro Live an hour of your time. This was truly great to watch. Now hurry up and release the Ranger Lightning. It will be a game changer just like the F150-Lightning.
Watching the emotional response by Sandy at the end of the video was PRICELESS!
OMG Sandy near tearing up at the end. How awesome! Congrats to you Sandy and the rest of the Munro team!!
That was frigging AWESOME!!!!.....CONGRATS SANDY AND STAFF!
I give those 3 Execs credit for taking the time to sit and discuss EV’s honestly without the bullshit like we get from our President or Mary Bara.
Thise two are too busy patting each others back , and making false claims .🙄.. 🤣
Agreed! Great to see a few engineers sitting and discussing issues and not blowing hot air
At least President Biden is supporting the ev movement unlike the former president who was only supporting Putin and himself!

What a good over interview! I really come to respect more and more the Ford leadership and how they are trying to see the future, and acknowledging Tesla as opposed and their dominance. Most OEMs pretend Tesla doesn't exist or are afraid to even speak Elon's name in a any positive light.
The tipping point is 5% of EV sales, the tipping point is Jim, Linda Zhang, and Doug from Ford rocking up on Munro channel. The F150 seems a superb Ford product, Ford deserves great success and Doug is so right the frunk followed by V2G changes the product.
The great deal about the EV revolution is there is room for all successful out of the box thinkers and Ford a company that has not take the tax payer for a sucker deserves a future.
Unlike Government Motors
The only thing holding ford back is the terrible state of CCS charging. Car companies that are serious need to demand a more reliable connector for any new chargers. Even if CCS has chargers, the plug has sagging issues that cause charge sessions to fail. It is a flaw due to the design of the connector, it is too large which lets the pins separate when it sags.
None of this is out of the box" -- It's an electric motor and a battery. They had that setup in the late 1800's.
@@calholli that easy lol, sure..
@@FreekHoekstra people don't grasp the magnitude of difficulty that advanced material invention is. Or more importantly how short of a time we have had computers even capable of simulations advanced enough to even begin to imagine what new materials to try and make.
This is really where Tesla and Space X cross paths employing top talent to work in the 'fun' space arena while also advancing the less glamorous automotive materials industry.
Only just caught this today, this is history happening right here as one of the worlds big players is letting the world know that they get it and they’re pushing. Also that they understand the competition and the nature of the global business.
That they are prepared to have this discussion on a public stage and chose you guys to facilitate that discussion while being prepared to face some pretty challenging questions is enormous kudos to Munro and associates. Thanks, I feel this will prove to be a significant moment.
We now have 4 lightnings in house and they are serving us beautifully. Thank you Ford for an amazing product
Well worth watching again
Ford/Jim, et al, great job. I am a huge Tesla and Ford fanboy. You are the only traditional car company that will survive thanks to you embracing EV's earlier than most. And thanks for listening to Sandy and team.
Great interview. Farley's respect and acknowledgement for Sandy and his team at the end was very touching. That clearly was very meaningful for Sandy... well deserved.
Congrats guys! There at the end, when Farley said how important you guys are to the industry. AWESOME! They know what's up.🤩
Thanks Terry
FARLEY and FORD , Dont know what they Dont know.
ELON , read the ART of WAR by sun tsu and has it on his DESK.
ELON, slept on the factory floor to get the Model 3 ramped.
when will JIM Farley ever sleep on the Factory Floor ?
@@markplott4820 Jim was instrumental in helping to make the Mach E and Lightning possible. Well before he ever became CEO. He is no slouch. The smartest thing Ford ever did was make this man CEO.

💯 agreed on praise for Munro and Associates. Loving ❤️ my Lightning ⚡️!
Great interview!! Ford is making a lot of good decisions. Including listening to Munro!! The recognition is well deserved. Bravo.
When castings start getting bigger in Ford products, they will be able to drive profits.
That was one of the best industry interviews on some many levels! Congrats Sandy and the Munro Team.
Wow, a really great interview! And now I understand why Sandy Munro is so impressed by Jim Farley. He gets it. He understands the potential and the pitfalls. And he also allows his subordinates to express their views and shares the limelight. Yes, I think Ford is going to make it through the EV transition.
Great piece. Farley was not short on his admiration for you.
Sandy, I run a small hardwood floor business and you inspire me! Thanks for all the value you provide.
You are so welcome!
Well done Jim Farley. To have the humility to listen and respect Sandy says a lot about your character. You are an impressive leader.
Wow. I guess 312,000 subscribers and growing fast just talking about engineering stuff is real power. Congrats to Munro Co for this success. You deserve it and I think you make a real difference in the minds and hearts of many manufacturing companies for the better.
Thank you so much
Awesome interview. Wow. Sandy asking the hard questions, and Jim's humility.
Tesla chargers are already available for all in many EU countries. Soon in the US I imagine.

They described having a perfect cross-country experience in 2016 with their Tesla.
@@rkan2 No they are not. You do not use the Tesla standard. Smaller, better, lockable. Why you support another standard is just as dumb as it is here. Let the engineers decide not the politicians.
