- Adam and Norm unbox and review the massive Batwing model from the Tim Burton 1989 Batman film, made by Jazzinc Dioramas! This 1/6 scale vehicle is an incredible feat of toy design and engineering, replicating the filming miniature used for the film with magnetically attached accessories and lights throughout. Plus, the makers of this collectible used reference from a Tested video to inform their paint job and model details. We assemble the Batwing at the Tested studio and drop in a special 1/6 scale pilot!

Adam, you should put it on a 80 pounds test spider wire fishing line & hang it on top of your cealing fan & let it glide or fly by itself in midd air I do it to the STARWARS millennium falcon on a 80pound test spider wire fishing line ?
It's the actual Batwing used in the movie
If you haven't seen it yet, you will love this and it might open your mind to a million possibilities. This kid turned a tiny hotwheels car into a fully functional RC Lowrider. COMPLETE with hydraulics, a trunk that opens and closes with little led spacker rings in the trunk, the headlights work, and the tail lights light up red when you hit the break and everything! And you can drive it on a hotwheels track!!!!
This thing blew my mind and he is the future of innovation on this kind of stuff.
I don't want to spoil how he got the hydraulics to work on a hot wheel, but it's all electric, and I still don't understand how the wire drives work on the front end.
Just search, Hotwheels RC Lowrider. You can't miss it, there's a whole build video too.
It will rock your world and make you want to try new ideas on everything! It's worth it, promise!
My favorite version of the Batwing. So awesome looking. The scene where he stalled it in front of the moon to look like the bat signal he later gave to Gordon....classic.
The only version
Adam needs to make Joker's long barrel revolver!
Bang!
And the incredibly dangerous punching glove gun that he uses to smash the TV.
good shout. that would be a great build
Yeeeeesss
With the little BANG flag
Yep, the best Batwing design by far. This rendition of it is gorgeous.
There is only one speed with Adam. The speed of awesome. Thanks to the both of you for this.
Man I'll never forget seeing the Batwing fly on screen back in 89. It was also the first movie I went to see with my dad.
I've had mine for about 3 weeks now.. every time I see it I'm taken aback by how gorgeous it is!
How much is it? The price?
@@trustnoone3007 2,499.00
@@himynameisjeff Yikesssss!! That's a lot and no thank you lol.
@@trustnoone3007 I find with stuff like this if I have to ask how much it is I most likely can’t afford it
Buy it and dont open it for 4-5 years….thank me later:)
This looks like a movie prop, such an amazing piece.
Thanks
@@JazzIncdioramas your work is incredible!!
Just watching them assemble it, and geeking out all of the while, means all is right in the world for a time
Ironically the animatronic Batman in the screen prop Batwing does the only movement the actual Batman actor couldn't do - turn his head.
My favorite thing ever. Fun fact though! The original script had a variation of what we saw in film: under the parade float, the Joker was hiding a tank. And that's what shot down the batwing. Makes more sense than a pistol.
I’m going to watch this 1000 times in a row
I can feel Adam's excitement from here. When I grow up I want to be just like you Adam!
Bring back memories. I had the OG Batmobile with the pop out machine gun and light up a thruster.
Thank you Adam and Norm for showing us your new toy! I'm so glad a company got to do 1/6th scale and didn't totally screw it up! That thing is massive and I want one but, life happens! Enjoy this like the 12 year olds you and all of us really are!😉
Thank you for your support ❤
@@JazzIncdioramas You're very welcome! It's a joy to watch Adam and whoever he's with or even by himself show such joy and enthusiasm for the new and old! 😍😁 Keep em coming and I'll keep watching! Seriously, Great job crew and keep it up!👍
What a moment when it drops in front of the moon. What a Batman moment! Forever 1989 Batman.
This is what two people totally geeking out looks like 😂 I love it 👍. What an amazing piece.
Wow feels like a Christmas Gift dude, Great
I'm getting my JazzInc Snowspeeder soon.. ordered it 2 years ago. Reassuring to see their other products living up to the hype.
I love watching these types of reactions/reveal videos. Great rewatch value.
I vote that Adam crafts the cathedral and show the BatWing crashed upon it like in the movie. That would be how I would want to display the batwing with the Joker holding that long barrel firearm that somehow took the BW out of the air.
Love It!! My inner kid was drooling, watching this
The excitement on both you guys faces loved every min of this vid ,,,,so so wish had cash my self for things like this i live though the both of you ,,,huge thumbs up
There is such a huge fan base that a company can spend that time and money making these and sell out.
That's awesome.
OMG I Can’t wait to get mine! Should be shipped within a couple weeks. 👍🏻 SO BEAUTIFUL. Congrats to Jazzinc
This looks good enough to actually put in the movie! Amazing!
Awesome model and build episode. I think the batwing is so well engineered that I truly think it can realistically be built and flown. Even with the wing design it can create drag and lift.
I can see Adam outside the Tested offices running around with this over his head humming the theme!!
All I see are two kids getting their new toys. That's the best feeling!
Came here after the flash movie. Magnificent movie !
Mini Adam living his best life in my favorite Batwing ❤🦇❤
My compliments to the chef. C'est magnifique!!!!!!!
Congratulations to JOOST and his Father I’ve been watching their company unfold for several years now, I have their “Iron Scavenger” piece and I really want the snow speeder I just don’t have the room. So cool to see 2 awesome collectors/makers appreciating their hard work
Normally I don't get excited about models. But this one is so incredibly well done with all the lights and everything! If I were a Batman fan the way that I know Adam is, I would want one of those for my collection to! Truly a work of art! Congratulations guys!!
Thank you 😊
Glad I got my order in just before it sold out!
I love that we can live vicariously through Adam and Tested
I still have my old old small Batwing toy from back when the movie first came out in the 80's 😀 this is amazing cool 👍
I've got the BVS batmobile from jazzinc and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! I cant recommend their products enough!!
great!!!!!
expect shot of batwing in fullmoon~~~~
Stunning piece of modelmaking that one could own, and really for what it is, not terribly out of the realm of ownership on the price for what you get. Kind of wish the wingtip lights were yellow, but a trivial detail versus the big picture.
I'd really love to see the Animated Series vehicles at this scale. I've been working on sculpting for my resin printer a decent sized Arkham Knight batmobile that should be nuts when it's done.
While I was a 90s kid, the 89 Batman was my absolute favorite movie growing up. And is still in my top 5! If I had the space, I’d be collecting all sorts of stuff like this. 😁
I was geeking out watching this as much as Norm was unboxing the Bat Wing, love it!
This BatWing looks AAAWWWEEESSSOOOMMMMEEE!!!
The 89 Batman Batwing is such a great model. it's one of my favorite cinema plans so far. Even now seeing it in the movie it makes me smile with joy.
You can tell norm wants to go slow and precise, and Adam just wants to tear into it and get it assembled 😂 love it!
Unrelated to the topic of the video, but it makes me happy to see my laser-cut Millennium Falcon design being displayed on their set. It was fun to design and thrilling for them to appreciate.
I would love to see a sketch where two guys like this totally fuck up the unboxing, breaking things and then eventually turning against each other.
I love that Adam has experience building miniatures for the old star wars movies because he appreciates the engineering of the models that much more.
Oof. You saying the old SW movies but meaning the prequels then me realising even those were a couple of decades ago - makes me feel very old!!
Man, that is absolutely gorgeous
Lol the lil Adam figurine looks so stoked to be sitting in that thing ❤
it absolutely needs to have the moon as it's backdrop. With the things you guys have made, I can't imagine something that simple would be difficult for you.
i saw the film in theater opening day. i so want this! all those wonderful toys!! lol
Please bring back This is Only a Test! 😭
This shows me how fantastically designed the Lego 1989 Batwing is. Awesome.
Keatons batman is the best! Best batmobile, best batsuit, and best batwing
the look is unmatched. but batflecks fights sene was dope...let's how keaton moves in the flash. looks more agile than ever
Can you imagine this thing hanging on a wall with a dimly lit moon as the backdrop?
That's 10000000% how I'd mount it if I had this beauty!
This is an amazing model, and the true energy from you guys geeking out its fantastic!
Thank you ❤
Fantastic model.
For all 89, especially 1/6 collectors of HotToys ,this is the ultimate piece to have...Shout out to Jazzinc Dioramas...❤👍
This is damn near perfect! My only quibble is that the magnet for the lower tail fins may erode over time, but I’m sure one can just glue that on as a hack. Wow, what a model!
I grew up with 90's batman and had a poster of the bat wing as it flys in front of the moon, this model is the best model iv ever seen its so accurate to the movie
You got it all together. Now for the weathering and distressing 😊
I love that Norm lovingly mocks the writer’s choice of the batwing being equipped with a clasping arm and milling saw.
Rather strange to come here on Tested and learn that we in The Netherlands have such a great company 😂
That's amazing. As a child I had the toy and it was all metal.
Thank you Adam these pieces are my childhood you’re content is amazing thank you 🙏🏼
Okay, that is cool. Seeing them flipping it around like kids was awesome! Adam in the cockpit was a great touch. The magnets are wicked cool. Wouldn't it be stellar to have it wall mounted to a moon wall decal or painting behind the Batwing??
Some customers have actually done that. ua-cam.com/video/dsHM2ZaaV2o/v-deo.html
"The Bat Gat"
This video was worth it for that line alone!
HE STOLE MY BALLOONS! Why didn't anyone tell me he had one of those... things? Bob, gun.
.....Bob... dead 😂
Great work on this.
Adam you are fantastic norm sir you are awesome great work sir thanks
This unboxing was so infectiously fun to watch! I didn’t get one due to space unfortunately. As an aside, Norm very carefully taking off the tape from the gattling gun compartment is me, 😂. Adam quickly and almost wrecklessly ripping of the tape from the targeting computer, not me 😅.
Awesome unboxing video guys!
@@BrotherChad true, true
I love seeing Norm so excited and happy. He really knows his stuff! Where is the 6th scale Norm?
Who else has been waiting patiently for this to come out?
I can't wait to get my hands on Jazzinc's Snow Speeders! 😲
The Size of that Box alone is insane lol. Great unboxing! Batwing for the win!
Yeah, a painted moon background with it mounted on a wall would look amazing, especially with clouds airbrushed under the moon like the scene from the movie.
I'm humming the batman theme during the whole video
*As a hardcore fan of this, the finest of Batwing designs... i'm in awe.*
*I wonder if someone put in the work to calculate if it could actually fly if built for real, but probably need to be a larger 3-4:1 scale.*
Flitetest should do one, I feel like reaching for some foam board now.
I'm sure it's been stated that it's highly ineffective and wouldn't fly, definitely a case of form over function.
@@ObsessiveGeek Have you seen flitetest vids? Stick big enough motor on it. Would be fun model on full Moon
@babbagebrassworks4278 I mean, getting it in the air isn't quite the same as having flight capacity.
Bees, for example, are constantly at ends against all other forces working against them to remain airborne.
I would LOVE to have Keaton's Batmobile, and The Tumbler in that scale.
Not going to lie that looks like a really cool model. Thanks Adam, Norm and Tested team.
This is a beautiful moment 🤗🍹
"Batman doesn't kill"
**MINIGUNS AND BOMBS!!!**
Mixing models because they're to scale is always fun.
I’d cry if I owned that, what a cool thing
Also appropriate that an Adam is in the cockpit. The next one should be Adam West.
I almost cried when that canopy fell off the table 😳
I've gotta admit, this is definitely worth $2,500.00! As I watched this video, I thought it would be at least twice that much! Very impressive!
Thank you 😊
I geuss thats personal. I would NEVER pay that for something that sounds so plastic and hollow when you tap it. To everyone their own I geuss. It is beautifull, but man that's a huge chunk of money. Id rather pay that money for something that has mass to it and use actual steel parts etc. Fully handmade. But this? Never.
Wow, i used to have a big Batwing toy, i remember the pincher at the front. The big Batmobile too which if i remember had its own projectile mechanic but not this big. I had all the Batman figures and villains you could think of over a period of 15 years but in all I had accumulated back then 30 year archive of toys. I used to have a Batcave model that opened up with miniature figures inside, in fact i had similar mini city and buildings for micro machines, death star and thunderbirds and others.
The amount of figures i had passed down from the 70s such as Star Wars etc and then all my 80s, 90s toys was unreal. I had a built-in wardrobe full, countless chest and the attic in two properties my mother's and grandparents, a collectors wet dream of nostalgia.
Overtime folk ask do i still have sadly no, as a kid I sold most of it on carboots and when i was in my early 20s i donated everything i had to a charity shop and my dad's partner little boy. I regret it now because there was value, from superhero, star wars, wrestling, thundercats, transformers, turtles you name it all kinds of toys and memorabilia.
Now you need a giant moon on your wall that is backlit
Awesome video 😎👍
The 1989 Batwing is my favorite
You guys gotta keep Lil Adam, in there.
Wow! This is beautiful!
I wish I had the room for this, this is a grail 1/6th piece and I'm jealous you guys have one... such an iconic and beautiful vehicle.
That's why God invented walls and ceilings! ;)
This is insane 🙀🙀🙀 great job you guys !!!
amazing piece of awesomeness .... "let's get nuts!" hehe. I could only drool and dream for that set. For now, i settle with my 64s scale HotWheels diecast edition in my Batman and batmobiles collection. Big fan of yours sir Adam, since your MythBuster days then. This is gong to be 1 of my favorite channels in YT from here on
sweet baby jesus batman!!! thats the most precious thing i'd buy just because i'd have enough spare money
Ok, that's gorgeous 😍
Since they are thinking wall mounted, we need the one day build of the moon
I like how you think, sir.
Bwhoa, this was a thing of beauty to see! I had the toy Batwing when I was a kid and this brought back all kinds of nostalgia.
Wow, I'm in love.
