    Using Velocity also helps get some groove and humanize it as well. I still use the standard chord progression and do it that way. Maybe modify the top notes to get creative with it.

    Awesomely useful info, top class video! Using swing in arps seems to be what makes such a massive difference. Game changing stuff!!!

      If your wanting groove then swing is your friend. Even just a smidge will take your track from being ridged also.
