Yes, Arpeggios are a wonderful thing to create. I've gotten fairly good at taking a melodic idea from one source and transposing them into a new scale by finding the half step. Sometimes it doesn't translate across but I do use scales and chords web page to help. Feel free to use the midi I've posted on the FB chat group Demis. Thank you once again for the excellent video.
It’s all about creativity and patterns, simple or complex that does not matter, creativity matters the most in this process.

Very nice tutorial.. I would like to correct you, though, that it is a C minor scale, or Eb major (the parallel major for C minor). You are using Ab in the last bar, that is not part of the Bb major scale. The progression is a typical C minor chord progression with Cm - Gm - Fm
