Great tutorial! Never realized the 6 bar pattern was the reason the drop was so hard to time. French 79 - Hometown and the intro of that same song are also great arp examples!
Wow this video and channel is a GOLD MINE apparently. Well done man. Very easy to follow and learn from. Have always wondered how Eric made this. Subbed and liked! ❤
The main thing I struggle with when it comes to arp is getting it to bounce/groove properly up and down the scales. I think it's just a sweet spot im missing but either way this channel is great
exceptionally Great video! So easy to follow your train of thought. It's like you know the questions that arise and answer them without being asked. If you would consider a suggestion. Any song by Skrux would be much appreciated. I know he may not be super famous but that's on us. His sound design is truly unique and amazing. I've been trying to be able to re-create those type of textures in bass, supersaws, leads but it's never remotely as good.
it's just tempo automation. You can't do it on the arp timing alone because all the instruments need to match so its easier to automate the tempo of the whole session.
That's a tough one! Mainly the sound, I got the chords and the notes should follow if I can hear past that delay, but the sound is like a 303 but not. 1995? maybe it's an sh101? Working on it. Doing an arp video right now I'll see if I can fit it in.
Hi Sir. I was wondering if you might like to do a class on some psy trance? If not, now worries, just a suggestion. I am wondering if Arps are important in that genre? Thank you.
Good question. As far as I'm aware, a counter melody is more of a general description for any melody that is not a direct harmony to the main melody. It can indeed be made of counterpoint lines but does not have to be.

Nice suggestion. Hadn't heard that track before , now I have , it's reminded me of another great example : stranger things theme!

Wicked!! Can't wait for the next one 🙌
Dude, your videos are soooo good! Kudos my man.
Please remake “touch me” by Rui da Silva!
That track is a masterclass in so many aspecte
Great tutorial!! Would love to see a video on chopping breaks + some groovy patterns
good suggestion. Any particular genre?
@@Bthelick hmmm. Maybe new ukg / breaks - bakey, denham audio, coco Bryce etc? Personally I struggle with getting the breaks sounding fat and groovy
Would love to see this too - Great channel!
Thanks for sharing! Really enjoyed the tutorial.
Thanks Luis
Excited to watch this one. I was gonna suggest you do an arp / melody one…. 👏
Great Vid super content as always ! 👍

Love arpeggios, bit of trance blood in here I suppose 😅
Nice, can we do a Bonzai classic please? The First Rebirth from Bonzai Records middle 90's.
Instantly made me think of William Orbits version of Samuel Barbers Adagio for Strings. Well you did ask for suggestions lol.
One of my fave progressions.
I did a tropical house version of adagio a few years ago under a different name.
Awesome tutorial! Very well explained. Btw how does he speed up arpeggio so fluently? Thanks

There is an arpeggio at the begining of 'Red Herring' by Union Jack . That i would love for you to deconstruct.

Hi, thanks for this share ! can you make this set downloadable? thks
The midi I can , is that helpful?
I can't re-distribute other peoples samples like the drums & fx
@@Bthelick ah ok, no worries, in any case thank you for your demonstration!
Thanks a lot! But how to gain the perfect time of tempo and from what tempo of the arpeggio to the main section? Thanks again
I say at the start it's 34 to 126bpm.
Or are you asking how long does it take to ramp?

tbh I'm not an expert in the current scene right now,.
Can you recommend some contemporary trending tracks ?

Nano records have quite many artists on their label. Thank you.
at 3:50 how do you get the notes to play when you select them? I use Live myself.
It's the little headphone icon at the top left of the midi window
How about "Im b-the-lick, and you've been licked, good bye" 😂
🤣🤣🤣 yeesh I might have to careful with that one!
@@Bthelick 😂😂
Waar moet ik mee kunnen doen op een feest
Can you re-phrase the question please
Want mijn macboekdoet niet meer
Great insight. Thank you .
Also thank you for at last teaching what counterpoints are. Is it same thing as counter melody?
