I still own the 525i 1979 model today with 280k km mileage, I also own a 2016 7 Series. At one point in 2002, I bumb the front right wheel on a huge brick lying on the road, but, it didn't damage any parts of its wheel. BMW is superior than other Germany predecessor, reliable, solid and robust. That's why I keep on owning the BMW cars. Tq bro..

As he said he was comparing these models based on the cost they go for now. I think this was excellent. I have been researching they type of car i want, and need. I keep coming back to the BMW 5 because of driving characteristics and cost. It is a little higher in cost to own, but if all is well mechanically it shouldn't be too much more than any other car.

The 5 series is in the class with the Mercedes e-class and Audi A6: the MID SIZE SEDAN CLASS
They C-Class and the A4 are in the class with BMW 3-SERIES

U arent getting it he said the entry lvl 300 and A4 for the purpose of saying u can get a mid level BMW for the same price of repairs maintenance performance etc etc for those cars now if u get a e350 or A6 comparable to 5 series u will pay alot more for repairs maintenance etc etc so why not get the mid lvl 5 that's comparable to entry lvl prices of the others?

Oh wow it’s been A long time lol but I ended up getting the car got it Feb. 2017 and I already put in 157k miles on it running smooth the only thing I did was change the valve covers last year. it’s a 535i performance package.

+Alceu Goncalves Jr no question is a stupid question . I think you should get it checked out first by a certified BMW dealer if possible just to make sure you are on the safe side. Otherwise it seems like a good deal. One thing to go by in the future is to drive around with the radio off and accelerate and brake and reverse and test the car and be aware of anything that doesn't sound right. If it sounds off, something is probably my wrong with it.

That according to kbb is on the high end of the range at $21115.00 to $22604.00 for that model but like others have said, depending on the mechanical integrity of the car it may be worth the added price. You could pay less for a car that may need more parts replaced so it depends.

C300 25K on 5 year LOL omg buddy your math is very very bad .On C300 you have service A and service B . Service A is simple oil change with all filters like oil filter cabin filter dust filter you do that on every 20k km and B is brake fluids flush plus service A. Get your selfe maintenance book and it will tell you what need to be replaced every 20000km ! You can do that in your garage it will cost you 200$ Canadian $ material per year . Flushing brake fluids is 150CA$ in MB dealership !!! Tire rotation every 20k is 45$ . I own 2019 MB W205 /C300 and Im doing everything by myselfe simple garage with rhino ramp !!!! 25k lol
