Excellent report! For some other European trips, Chris, you may want to consider taking a bus. It saves you time of traveling to and from the airports, and definitely costs a fraction of the air tickets!
The air looks so clean... reading about the air quality in Thailand recently which isnt the best. Would like to include Eastern Europe on my bucket list one day.. Thank you for great content
Aloha my friend, Prague looks like a wonderful city. You are correct, lots of history in East Europe. That old Monastery hotel looks interesting, if I travel to Prague I would stay there. Always enjoyed history and historical buildings. yyyuuuuumy that steak with gravy and dumplings looks good. Enjoy Prague. I can see your style of travel, good idea to visit countries outside of South East Asia for a month or two in a year. The world is huge!!!!!!! Mahalo looking forward to your next adventure.
I never ever thought....book Expedia....this idea of yours booking flight and hotel is great! Thankyou...you have a bargain.....enjoy Prague...I've been....I just loved the clocktower and lots more. Martin bristol
We were in Prague in June 2023. I was sick and not feeling well when we were there, so hope to go back some day so I can enjoy it more. It's beautiful!
Surprised you didn't first go by train to Krakow Christopher. You could have continued from there to Prague with low cost airline Ryanair for less than 40$. Decent hotel rooms (eg. Akcent Hotel ) in Prague can be found for less than 45$ a night. Consider more train journeys as you work your way down south to other Eastern European countries. Enjoy Czech Republic.
I agree Krakow is better to visit than Warsaw. Also don't overlook taking Flixbus around that region. They are very good and you can avoid airport hassles
Your next book name should be : “Wanderlust of Aloha “ one day my friend we will meet on one of those countries. With hard work and prayers 🤲 anything is possible ✅
Love your videos and have been watching every one of them! Thank you for inspiring us. I have to say though. I don’t quite like the whole “We got a lot to cover”, “We got a lot to see”. “We better get going”. That sounds like my boss. Lol
You're such a positive guy when it comes to your solo travels - I really admire what you're doing! I'm just curious about the weather in Poland and Prague. From what I’ve seen, it seems like there’s no snow or ice in January? I checked the current climate and weather reports, and it looks like snow and freezing conditions aren’t what is known or expected....as common as I expected or what is seen in your video. Am I off on this? I would have expected to see snow and ice and so on. I hail from Toronto, Canada so I know what winter weather looks like. Thoughts?
No idea how you survived that Mad Dawg of Amersterdam. He was a brute. It was a close call. You were lucky. We need you to stay safe so you can make more excellent videos!!😂
Hi Chris, always good stuff, don't want to go off-topic since you are in Prague, but if you discuss the nomad life again, can you describe how you manage visas in different countries. I know a little about Thailand. Kent
Another interesting video my friend. What do you think is the maximum size carry on bag allowed when travelling in SE Asia? I have been researching this a bit and cannot seem to find one answer. Just trying to avoid a problem as I plan my move later this year. Looking forward to more videos.
@matt - I use a 40L backpack. In my experience, the bag size doesn't matter (in SE Asia) but the weight does. As long as it's not above 7 kg & will fit in the overhead bin, it should be OK. However, check airline rules because for some airlines, the 7 kg is for carryon AND personal item. For some, it's 7 kg plus small personal item. I usually travel wearing trek/ hiking pants (convertible to shorts) which has lots of pockets. I also sometimes travel with a hoodie or light jacket which has pockets where I can hide stuff (battery pack, charger etc which can be heavy). Overnight buses are cold (for me anyway) so I travel with a jacket or scarf. Good luck & safe travels.
@@mattclark7718 you're welcome. I usually travel w/ the 40L backpack plus a small shoulder bag/ purse where I keep my passport & other valuables. It's big enough for a 500 ml water bottle. For men, it's common to carry a smaller backpack (day bag)/ messenger bag (man bag) or cross body bag - like a backpack but it goes in front but has 1 strap only, can fit a water bottle. Bon voyage!
@@RetireandGoMoldova, Georgia & Albania are not included in the Schengen zone. However, if you spend loads of time in Europe & your viewers want you in Asia or Latin America, your views may decrease.

I believe visiting Eastern Europe would be enjoyable, but I would prefer to go during the warmer months unless I planned to engage in activities like snow skiing.
I was there in November and really love it! Although I was told a few times that they (The Czech and Polish) don't like being called "East Europeans". They said they're in Central Europe. Oh well😄
We are neither northern or eastern Europe, completely different cultures and geographical locations. We have always been central Europe and even 40 years of communists in government hasn't changed that. After the Prague Spring, Grandpa Frost came to us from the East and suddenly baby Jesus was no longer supposed to bring us presents at Christmas (he continued to bring them at home anyway, only in public you had to agree with the general narrative, so we're a little touchy when someone tries to force something on us that's not related to us) and yet even the communists didn't try to convince us that we were Eastern Europe and continued to refer to us as Central Europe. Yes we are rather easterners and most people hate "arrogant westerners" trying to convince us we are something we are not, which even the communists didn't have the gall to do, which is the saddest part of the whole thing. Of course, this has nothing to do with Europe, but with the Eastern and Western blocs, where the "arrogant westerners" are mainly people from the USA, which I don't think is in Europe. So I am willing to agree that some central European countries are in eastern Europe, just in case the USA is in western Europe and not on the American continent.
How much is the Eastern Europe trip costing in total? So far I know you spent $900 +$500 on these two cities. How much were you budgeting for food and Ubers and other stuff?
I would research the most popular places on UA-cam globally and visit them to create videos. Incorporating these locations into your video titles could potentially enhance the algorithm’s ranking and attract more views and subscribers.
@RetireandGo Thanks for responding back Chris. I don't know how many people or the percentage that bought it back in 2009 actually held on to it before cashing out up until it was over $60,000 and until now when it's about $105,000 per coin. I have seen a young guy who bought a lot of it many years ago when it was dirt cheap and he makes UA-cam videos of himself driving around Dubai in Bentleys and buying super expensive clothes.
Well, I would say food and hotels are double the price I can live in Southeast Asia for 1500 a month I think I could live in several of the countries I’m visiting for 3000
