Hunter having the most balance of intelligence and empathy is why he was a great leader for the Bad Batch. Crosshair isn't emotionless but he had a significant lack of both that made him a better soldier than a leader.
good soldiers follow orders, Hunter was simply empathetic, and was a good leader with emotional intelligence, and other skills coming 2nd beforehand. whilst, Crosshair the opposite; he is an excellent marksman, and specialized in reconnaissance, and other survival traits, but he isn't exactly the most intelligent emotionally, or maybe just doesn't care and will follow orders even if they are morally conflicting to some.

Shows how physically impressive force users are compared to even trained enhanced humans and regular humans. Kanan as a child just casually kicks a enhanced clone a good distance back and also knocking him unconscious for a good bit. I always noticed people usually think force users are on the same tier as normal humans physically and only have telekinesis and telepathy. Just wanted to point that out.
@Himmiefan Yes, because it's more down to earth, more about family and newer. They knew what worked in CW and used it. Besides, even the animation is way better than the old CW series. But for all the strong moments here, it can't top Ahsoka's departure from the Jedi Order or the epic Order 66 from her perspective. Those were the strongest moments in all of SW. It's a bit of a silly retcon and I do enjoy the concept of the clones betraying the people they fought side by side with for three years. But the chips pretty much just overrode the personalities and wills of the clones. The bad batch were defective and so were their chips so they were unaffected, crosshair even had his removed at a certain point. They didn't even participate in killing the General, they watched from a distance. They're very confused about the jedi committing treason, as they were just talking with the General only a little bit ago.

This clones were ALL grown in a facility on Kamino and were put to learn military procedures as soon as possible (we seen they got different stages of Age so when the Republic got his clones It was a process that required *years* to create that army Battle ready and make the clones learn everything they needed to know. So The Clones Who went through the process ALL had to know by the Age they end up shipped to war what orders they were expected to follow at ANY point. Even if Is Canon now they have chip that let's say "suppress their morality" to make them perform better but they still had to know what they Needed to do. When Cody recieve the order Is not like we have the "come again? We have to shoot Generale Kenobi?" He Just does It because they had to put in motion a protocol the Clones were all trained for. Its a BIT more complicated then that the CIS was NOT yet finished, the command structure of their army was in dissaray as both their political figurehead(count dooku) and Military Leader(grievous) where... not available. However, their armys where still mostly functional, and they still continued their assault on for example Kashyyk and other planets till the moment the shutdown signal was issued. the WAR was not yet over, and the jedi wanted to arrest him on accounts of being a Sith lord. Which technically is not a valid reasson as, as palpatine did correctly mention in the novel, being a sith isnt TECHNICALLY against the law. That said the Jedi had a reasonable suspicion for an arrest arrest of the Chancelor on grounds of treasonous actions against the republic via his role in leading the CIS from behind the shadow. there was also technicaly no law that palpatine had to remove his emergency powers until the state of emergency was declared over(which btw, only he could do and the only way around that was order 65, which required a vote to be enacted)

For me this made no sense. I know they were supposed of be the *bad batch* and so not act like the others clones but If he was part of the army and recieve the order 66 (that he should've know about - the idea it was a code word that enabled the clones to shoot in auto mode thanks to the chip in their heads like if they were robots is preposterous. They all knew by training: ok when this procedure start kill all Jedi. Screw morality, if you liked the Jedi general or not. It's part of the job and they were soldiers) if he had doubts about the order at best he should've tryed to captured the padawan (not follow the directive but take initiative in a more hopefull "we followed order 66 the general is dead but this is a kid in training I'm sure the order don't apply to him right commander?" but still act like he's part of the unit in favor of the Repubblic. Not "look kid for no real reason I'm on your side, I'm gonna go against the order and the army I serve from when I was born and save/hide you" 🤷♂️)
It's a bit of a silly retcon and I do enjoy the concept of the clones betraying the people they fought side by side with for three years. But the chips pretty much just overrode the personalities and wills of the clones. The bad batch were defective and so were their chips so they were unaffected, crosshair even had his removed at a certain point. They didn't even participate in killing the General, they watched from a distance. They're very confused about the jedi committing treason, as they were just talking with the General only a little bit ago.
what you think is dumb or not is completely irrelevant, its been canon since the very first star wars movie that the clones had a mind control chip in their brain, they went through with it because of that and only that, without it most of them wouldn't have followed. and no they had no idea of order 66, the chips orders were a secret to literally everyone including the jedi, the clones did not train beforehand to kill jedi
@@XiaoYueMao the idea of have a "order 66" means you have 65 before that and other orders After that. This clones were ALL grown in a facility on Kamino and were put to learn military procedures as soon as possible (we seen they got different stages of Age so when the Republic got his clones It was a process that required *years* to create that army Battle ready and make the clones learn everything they needed to know. So The Clones Who went through the process ALL had to know by the Age they end up shipped to war what orders they were expected to follow at ANY point. Even if Is Canon now they have chip that let's say "suppress their morality" to make them perform better but they still had to know what they Needed to do. When Cody recieve the order Is not like we have the "come again? We have to shoot Generale Kenobi?" He Just does It because they had to put in motion a protocol the Clones were all trained for. The show try to sell the Clones as "unaware" just to give them and excuse and make them appear more unwilling to "kill without motive" that for me Is the Dumb part. They had to follow their "general" commands not because they liked them in MOST cases but because they were assigned to them. I love the Clones show personality traits but try to go beyond and pull the "I'm so genetically superior I Don't even Obey orders I should know about!" And pick sides questioning their whole role Is kinda out there and Is of course Just a personal opinion.
@@maxwell8540 im sorry to interrupt your yapping but again, its canon that the clones didnt actually know what the chips did, the specifics of what each order does was only known to palpatine, kaminoans, dooku, and the jedi council. but even then. they did not know the chips actually did mind control. the clones themselves were merely aware that they had chips that contained orders that would give them information should they be activated but were never told it would force them to carry the orders out nor were they put through training to carry it out.
yet again for the last time THIS IS CANON, its literally why the fives plotline existed where fives was horrified to learn the truth of the chips and he died trying to get that information to the jedi, that plotline wouldnt exist if the truth of the chips were already known, now stop yapping and actually go read the wiki.

This are SOLDIERS trained for carry out orders and If they have a list of procedures they *had to* learn them in training not Just "well seems like I have to carry order 66... whatever that even means" or even think Is a secret Word that activated them as sleeping agents. It doesn't make sense a "they were knowed only to such and such peoples". This were Simply the ones with the AUTHORITY to give out the order (Palpatine had the credentials as head figure of the Senate of the Republic. Dooku made the order of the army with the requirements needed and the Kaminoans carried out the specifics. This meaning: they had a program of studies/training ALL the clone troopers growth on Kamino gone through (for all the years the Jedi were unaware of the existence of such army). Order 66 Is just part of their protocols 🤷♂️ the Jedi were given roles only later as generals by the Republic (meaning Palpatine favored the war with the Jedi taking part in it) and they however never bothered to learn any of the protocols this Clone troopers had. The funniest thing is that Jedi really treasoned Republic, as Chancellor expected, but still. I don't think clones must kill a child (even if he is a Commander, which is strange, but okay), maybe imprison and give to inquisitors. Maybe it's too complicated and the order 66 just tells "kill the ALL Jedi".

ok so spoiler since you are clearly new to star wars, no, the jedi did not commit treason, by republic law palpatines had to give up his emergency powers as the CIS was done for, the jedi went to go ask him to follow the law but it was revealed palps was actually a sith, and a battle ensued, no other jedi except the 4 in that room had any idea what was happening or that palps was even sith.
as for order 66, they went along with it because order 66 was an order for a chip in their brain, it was quite literal mind control, they had no choice, some clones had their chips damaged and refused to follow the order and helped the jedi

the CIS was NOT yet finished, the command structure of their army was in dissaray as both their political figurehead(count dooku) and Military Leader(grievous) where... not available.
However, their armys where still mostly functional, and they still continued their assault on for example Kashyyk and other planets till the moment the shutdown signal was issued.
the WAR was not yet over, and the jedi wanted to arrest him on accounts of being a Sith lord. Which technically is not a valid reasson as, as palpatine did correctly mention in the novel, being a sith isnt TECHNICALLY against the law.
That said the Jedi had a reasonable suspicion for an arrest arrest of the Chancelor on grounds of treasonous actions against the republic via his role in leading the CIS from behind the shadow.
there was also technicaly no law that palpatine had to remove his emergency powers until the state of emergency was declared over(which btw, only he could do and the only way around that was order 65, which required a vote to be enacted)
