You just said exactly what I was going to say! I thought shipping containers was a good idea until a construction engineer showed how they are built and why they are no good as bunkers unless you make extensive modification of the walls and roof. The strength of a shipping container is built into the 90° angles. This is to brace against movement. The walls and roof are the weakest areas. If you bury one under several tons on earth, guess what.....the roof will cave in and the wall panels will buckle. He will need to reinforce the flat surfaces. In other words they are not, as he claims, ready to fit out.

My room is right by my back door so it takes me less than a minute to get out there and turn it off. Probably won't help but it's good to know if we have warning.
It’s not a matter of the world ending. “Doomsday” isn’t literal, just meant to explain a terrible situation. I’m involved in some of this, but it’s mostly just a hobby. My issue is civil unrest and societal breakdown. The economy and ridiculous bs out government is causing and embracing makes it far more likely. The military taught me to be prepared. I live my life, but I have plans and preparations for certain scenarios.
It will be decentralization winning over centralization, nature winning in other words. People who did not prepare by reclaiming their human sovereignty will suffer.

This show/series is one of the best shows National Geographic has ever made. Wish they had every full length episode here on UA-cam. The second guy in New York City should change the storage unit foodstuff to be stored in plastic bins rather then cardboard to better protect from moisture, rodents, insects. Also his wife should learn Krav Maga as well and first aid. The 3rd guy in California should also get a couple pigs and see about buying a little more land connected to the plot. The 4th guy in North Carolina should also stockpile honey and salt. Also should raise some animals as well.
New York City family should move north to a suburb/farm. An apartment can't be built out to stay for months. A volcano can erupt over a month (or more).
NY family is known to prepping community as Angry Prepper. I suggest you go check his channel here on yt out. This is not a fair portrayal of him and his family on this show.
The people who are preparing for the emp don’t take in consideration the fact that the transportation they may be relying on will be disabled since most vehicles are equipped with electronic computers.
Over the next couple of years, there is going to be food shortages. Many countries are paying farmers to not plant anything. Then, in some places, the weather is is causing farming issues. Ukraine, the bread basket of Europe, hasn't been able to do a lot of farming lately and there are supply issues getting out what they do have.
PLEASE KEEP IN MIND: Shipping containers ARE NOT STABLE. Their walls and rooves ARE NOT SUPPORTING THE WEIGHT WHEN STACKED. You MUST frame the exterior AND interior of shipping containers before burying them. They HAVE and WILL cave in. All of the weight when stacked is focused on the CORNERS of containers.
Half of the Preppers on this show would die within the first few days. Jimi from S4 and Craig were among the few Preppers here who actually knew what they were doing.

Some might be living in fear but most are just people with common sense and mistrust of the system, which by the way is collapsing. Could you trust your Neighbour or anyone in your 'Neighbourhood' if you really needed help? would you trust a total stranger in the street when the stores start to become empty of food and goods and your attempting to buy what you can in an overcrowded store with hardly any supplies available? These are issues that are very real and have already happened after recent disasters such as Catrina (New Orleans). I rest my case my lord!

That so called accident was not an accident but a result of a stupid action by the father ,who sums up preppers perfectly, the words " paranoid dreamers " comes to mind.
In 40 years of shooting and hunting with extended family and friends, well over a hundred people, we haven't had one firearm accident. If your drill has your off-hand in front of your barrel, you may want to re-think your drill (or risk loosing a hand or worse). What in the word was this guy doing? And while I love Ruger 10-22's, they are not going to cut it in self-defense situations where many are going to have body-armor and are going to throw 5.56, 6.5, 6.8, 7.62 and other, way more powerful, rounds right back at you.

This guy who shot his thumb doesn't understand about a 'hang fire'. If you have what seems like a miss fire you should always wait 60 seconds even before you eject the bullet and keep the gun pointed in a safe direction. Sometimes the powder is still burning inside especially with a rime fire bullet and you don't know it. He's lucky he wasn't pointing it at one of his kids and got off with a relatively minor wound from a gun.

I have a lil problem with the 1st guy on this show. That multitool is a good idea, dont get me wrong. Its the idea to use it for when he runs out of bullets is the thing i have a problem with. Your last 3 to 5 bullets should always be used for finding more bullets. There are always going to be people with more ammo than yourself. Once you run out of bullets and start to rely on a tool for hand to hand combat for self defense is just a matter of time before it becomes a death trap in a dooms day situation.

If you switch off the fuse boxes to your house there's a good chance most of your wiring won't completely fry. If the govt. decides to warn us about a solar flare we could have about 8 minutes to get to the box and turn it off. My room is right by my back door so it takes me less than a minute to get out there and turn it off. Probably won't help but it's good to know if we have warning.

Grab the 23 sacks! Timing is everything.
My favorite is the experts predictions. Wow some time later they are all coming true 🤔
Especially the hyper inflation
I will protect my family at all costs!
Sees blood. Passes out.
He'd freeze from someone pulling out a knife let alone a gun.
I love this!! Love the new York angry prepper!!!
It's New (with a capital N) York, lol.
I feel sorry for those who live in such fear, if the world ends, then it ends.
It will be a slow collapse
It will be decentralization winning over centralization, nature winning in other words. People who did not prepare by reclaiming their human sovereignty will suffer.
@@asddfasdqwe7389 It may seems slow but events will turn very quickly.
they think they would survive a modern nuke war kekw
i love the experts opinions on what might or might not happen. would love them to revisit the things now - "EMP not really likely" - fairly certain this would be revised now :)
Also should raise some animals as well.
same
New York City family should move north to a suburb/farm. An apartment can't be built out to stay for months. A volcano can erupt over a month (or more).
NY family is known to prepping community as Angry Prepper. I suggest you go check his channel here on yt out. This is not a fair portrayal of him and his family on this show.
You can be ready for many things but there is one thing which you'll never be able to prepare for it's Death
That's not true you can be ready. You have to put your faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.
@@TracysBees8713 Jesus peace upon him never said he is a God
The third and fourth families make the most sense. If it’s gonna happen that sounds like I would think it would happen.
“Everyone should own a gun!”
*Proceeds to show why not everyone should own a gun*
Putting your thumb in front of the barrel isn't a misfire. It's complacency and failure to follow life or death guidelines you follow with firearms
Jason's bringing a knife to a gun fight literally, lol
Is that the Angry Prepper?
yes
If you're going to fire under pressure het rid of the scope and use open sights
did he really just say "oh it was one of those malfunctions where my thumb went in front of the barrel and it just went off" 🤣
The crovel hitting the pig..
"It. Will. KEEEL"
"every house should have as many guns as possible....." blows off his finger. good parenting 👍
Always my favorite National geographic channel
From India
The people who are preparing for the emp don’t take in consideration the fact that the transportation they may be relying on will be disabled since most vehicles are equipped with electronic computers.
If you do have a working vehicle, better use it only for an emergency because someone will take it from you real fast.
The fact that the guy just throws a hole box of shattered glass into the hall like no one walking by might step on it😂
I wonder what exactly is the point of having shattered glass in front of his door... wouldn't be a problem to anyone with shoes lol
@@sooph1e motion detection when in the dark
@@alstoltz5482 Ohh thanks, that makes sense!
I am super Fan of this channel
Would you really feel like a winner when you emerged to a dead wasteland with 276 tins of beans?
PLEASE KEEP IN MIND: Shipping containers ARE NOT STABLE. Their walls and rooves ARE NOT SUPPORTING THE WEIGHT WHEN STACKED. You MUST frame the exterior AND interior of shipping containers before burying them. They HAVE and WILL cave in. All of the weight when stacked is focused on the CORNERS of containers.
Half of the Preppers on this show would die within the first few days. Jimi from S4 and Craig were among the few Preppers here who actually knew what they were doing.
It’s scary how far off the expert predictions are from what’s happening right now.
ANGRY PREPPER 👋👋
I thought this would be a new episode.... this is from several years ago.
Not sure if any body noticed but in the beginning the guys time himself how long it takes him to get to his destination. They get in a four-door car, but his jeep is two doors and then, when they get to the destination, he gets out the Jeep haha 😂
“One of those malfunctions, you know.? Thumb went in front of the barrel.” I don’t know if that classifies as a malfunction
To an extent, preparing for events that are unlikely to happen is fair enough. But but these peoples’ lives are determined by fear.
@@iananderson1231 couldn't have said it better myself the crazy people are the ones that aren't prepping right now gass food and wood are through the roof and a good chance of ww3 and yet people are still in denial it's mind blowing to me lol
@@iananderson1231 Venuzuela is also a good lesson, people had to leave the country to survive.
The ones that will be living with fear are the unprepared
Anyone notice them going I a two door Jeep then the next frame it is a 4 door suv
You need a lot of money to prepare past apocalypse but the question is, for how long?
I remember watching this on TV and cringing when they kept showing the clip of him shooting pretty much right by his son’s face.
That *NEGLIGENT* discharge on camera must have hurt his pride even more than his thumb, talk about bad timing! Glad he's alright. Considering guns don't just suddenly go off by themselves, maybe it's time for a bit of a gun safety refresher. On the plus side, I bet he won't make that mistake again lol
Pat and his wife are the most reasonable and most thoughtful.
Or an EMP from a balloon at 60,000 feet. Sound familiar?
My best advice to the firefighter is get an illegal gun or buy a gun out of state and keep for your “prepping” he’s assuming that someone is going to come to his house unarmed, there’s literally kids running around with pistols everyday in NY🤣🤣🤣
Also on the last prepped thanks for showing me your secret location
Thinking a better idea would be get the heck outta NYC. But you know what they say about opinions.
That NYC firefighter is Jason, from "The Angry Prepper" and "The Angry Truth" Channels, in UA-cam.
I couldn't believe it when I heard his voice and then saw him. He is awesome!
Dudes prepping for an emp but his bugout plan hinges on him driving a jeep that won't even start if an emp goes off lol
I find alot of these bugout people spend an immense amount of time and money prepping to bug out of the city when they could move somewhere they can bug in for less money and be far safer if some event does happen cus they won't be traveling through chaos with a trailer load full fo supplies that everyone else will want
Spot on!
Those are the ones who don't want to compromise their comfortable city life.
That so called accident was not an accident but a result of a stupid action by the father ,who sums up preppers perfectly, the words " paranoid dreamers " comes to mind.
The handling of the firearms were so poorly towards the end!!! So many safety violations
I wish they would start up doomesday preppers again. We need it.Disney bought the channel and took it off the Air.
I used to be a prepper like these guys. But then i took an arrow to the knee.
Oh you. 🤭
Make no sense unless he just fell on one somehow.anything possible.
😂😂😂
you should join the Dawnguard
I thought shipping containers was a good idea until a construction engineer showed how they are built and why they are no good as bunkers unless you make extensive modifications to the walls and roof.
Dudes plan to beat an emp relies on a car that will get completely bricked by said emp
I was shocked the first family’s father shot his finger off due to improper handling of his firearm. During filming none the less! Wow
The gas guy is probably having a laugh right now
We're experiencing what Europe has been dealing with for decades. Stop whining.
@@squirrelcovers6340 As a European I can tell you that we have indeed been dealing with this and it's never been this bad before. 100 usd for a full gastank (stationwagon)
Nice to see you on here Angry Prepper 😃
He should have done the Samurai sword scene.
One of those malfunctions where my thumb went in front of the barrel 😂.
A real Prepper preps for all conditions. Not one thing. You singularly minded prep, you're not preparing.
The show makes you pick a topic. Jason has a massIve UA-cam channel called angry prepper
He's not too bright with his bunker choices either. They are no good as bunkers unless you make extensive modification of the walls and roof. Also, in the event of an EMP event, how is he going to get there?
