He was in all of them lol) inspired and ruined the lives of many young hongkies trying to emulate him as a gangster lol. I was sent abroad so i can't hangout with my gangster wannabe friends whom are probs in jail or worse.
No, this is Chow’s character. He has a very straightforward character , with no fear. People growing up in Asia in 1950’s to 70’s has a tough life which strengthen their character.

I think that you've been watching too many of Fat's gangster films and literally take them to be how the real world gangsters are! I assure you that it is nothing like real world gangsters and definitely not as romantic and heroic as you'd imagined it to be! Circumstances may have led them into the world of organised crime but no one forced them to stay! Most stayed cos they wanted to for whatever reasons(money, power, fast life etc etc). Only people that have given up will tell you that they had no choice...........there is always a choice, it just depend on whether you're ready to accept and deal with the outcome of your choice!
