You're wrong, back then many director from Hong Kong are also using mainland Chinese actors and actresses you know many of them are born in china right although they're settled in HK and they're also very talented, as of now nobody says one could replace anyone, it's a new era and it isn't 80s anymore, trend is changing, even now there are a lot of talented actors and actresses in China too, don't try to stir the heat in the internet
