The very first shot is the Honk Kong Bank, built just before Better Tomorrow was filmed. It's a groundbreaking work of architecture by Norman Foster, the company where I worked in the UK. Every time I visited HK, I was even more excited to visit the film locales than I was to visit the bank. :) Major props to John Woo.

Masterpiece. Can you imagine this remade these days? They would have to state everything....Ti Lung would tell Chow about that nightmare and how much he cares about his brother. Modern writing is terrible and then there's the box ticking aspect which would destroy a film like this.
