I am an older (57) woman who wanted to learn how to use iMovie. It was very confusing. After watching your video though, it was the best instructional video I've ever watched on this subject and I want to thank you! It was thorough, easy to understand and I loved the way you visually demonstrated for us. Thank you again!

@@VideoZeus One more (important) question. Before importing them, I view and name each clip with key words for quick reference once they are imported. I am used to working in Premiere Pro, which imports the clips with their names at the bottom of each clip. The names are not showing in iMovie, so I am having to view each clip to find the sections in each clip that I want. Searching "Help" comes up with nothing. Is there a way to find the filenames within iMovie?

@@VideoZeus Yes, that's what I found out after I called imovie customer service! I was using airdrop and they showed me how to access the files in imovie! I'm getting there!

Wow! This was exactly what I needed! It has been so hard to find a tutorial that is clear, concise and easy to follow. Thank you!!! I now have to film videos for work, and was having a terrible time trying to navigate iMovie. You're the best!!

When I add a Title on top of my video, it turns my screen black. Any idea why?

I have a 5 min video that I tried to share with my email and albums but a day later its still telling me, "Downloading Videos, some of the videos in this project are being downloaded from ICLOUD".
How can I stop this action? and is there a HELP place to research issues with IMOVIE?

Best to export your video to a file then upload that file to a software like Dropbox to then share by email.

VideoZeus Good! I currently use iMovie on my phone, but I’d like to use the computer. So this will help me get started.

This was Great!. I use Wondershare Filmora, which WAS very user friendly, until they decided to turn it into a complex and frustrating Adobe clone. I managed to get a download from them for my original version, but will also now use imovie as a back up. Thanks again for this great presentation. I have subscribed.
