I’m in the “embryo stages” of my UA-cam business and I am so grateful for your guidance and knowledge! What stands out to me is how humble , kind and generous your spirit is and how that shines through the screen. I believe that is the secret sauce to connecting with an audience. You are are a true UA-cam star and my inspiration. Thank you❤️

Same this is a good way to start off, I don't have any editing professional software, or anything to start a UA-cam channel(Have some editing experience but not a lot) So this is a great video since I have simple devices like iPhone, MacBook, iPad. Now I can optimize iMovie and make more professional videos. Im thinking of starting a UA-cam channel and maybe making a few videos to start off. So I am also grateful for this, Let me know how your are doing. I wish you the best.

There are some people who try to explain what to do when editing but they might not always be the best at explaining it so it can be confusing. You, however, break it down in a way that's incredibly easy to understand! I love your content and thanks for sharing these tips with us!

I thought you needed Final Cut Pro to color correct and do other things. I thought iMovie just lets you put clips together and ick one of their preset color filters. I think you can only do this inns iMac. I do t see these options on my iPhone.

Hey wondering if you might have input with your iMovie background. I have been using imovie with some of my youtube videos. Question for you. I have read that the music from imovie is copyright free. On one of my youtube videos I got a copyright claim on part of the background music I used from imovie. Would you fight the copyright claim? Thanks in advance for your help! 😊

I really love your content - it's what YOU do and what works for YOU and comes across as authentic (unlike others who try to appear at established filmmakers! but aren't!). I would give one tip on your screencast tutorials: drop the monitor resolution to 1280 x 720. This will give a nice large easy to read screen. I watched this on a small ish laptop and it was hard to see what you were doing, on a mobile device it would be impossible at this resolution. only the screencast everything else can be what you want. [I use Final Cut Pro and can zoom in and out, not sure how flexible iMovie is, but a readable resolution works quickly and easily anyway]

Hello, Cathrin's videos and tips are really helpful but to start with you may find ua-cam.com/users/techtalkamerica helpful, some are long but I just pause them and make notes.

You are SO knowledgable! This is definitely helpful. I've been wanting to start making videos but I'm so nervous! I wish I could just have you right next to me to show me step by step how to upload/edit cause I'm struggling lol.

I have been looking for a genuinely helpful iMovie editing tips video for months and this is SERIOUSLY the BEST one I've found! You gave great all-around tips for pretty much every aspect I've been trying to improve on in my own videos. Thanks!

I’ve watched several of these and I couldn’t find anyone saying how to cut out little sections (like the breathing) and it was driving me nuts. Thank you so much!!

Thanks so much for this video! I am currently editing with iMovie on my iPhone 8. This convinced me without a doubt that I need to get a laptop. Maybe I am fooling myself, thinking that editing isn’t as important for my workout videos
