Metal Detecting a LONG LOST Frontier Military Camp! Bullets and Uniform Buttons Dug

In this video Tony from 5280 Adventures joins us out on the Smoky Hill Trail to hunt an 1860s frontier military campsite. We found quite a few relics at this site especially once we crossed over onto the west side of the creek. Also included at the end are a few clips of a recent hunt on the Oregon Trail. Y’all do great. I located 7 dragoon buttons at a homesite near the very first ever dragoon deployment at Fort Des Moines on the upper Mississippi River. Trumps all my civil war finds. Excellent 1830s dragoon buttons.
