Loving that bumper build . It’s going to look sick on your MK4 . I wouldn’t do anything to the rear of my MK5 R32 as I want to keep it original as possible. They are getting very rare in the UK now . I do have a new set of 18 inch Cruize Blade alloys on it and it looks awesome. Your car is so sweet in the tornado red dude . Looking forward to more content .👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I did this to repair a boat. The real problem with the foam is that it's not high density. I used to make prosthetic sockets and we used a two part high density foam. You won't get the air pockets and it's better for carving.

@@ThreePedalGarage I just posted an Amazon link. It's been like 13 years since I did prosthetics but I'm pretty sure this is the stuff. Just do some research on the weights. The link I sent is 4lb. I saw they also have 2lb. So 4 would be higher density. I'm not sure how hight they go.
It's good that you're not using the original bumper for this upgrade. Nice idea incorporating an F1 style rear light. Personally I would have left off the fins or a least trimmed them down so as not to protrude as much as your initial mock up, but hey its all subjective I guess! ! Hope it goes well 👍
Thanks man! Ya I want to try it with the F1 style light and I am working on the fins now. I’m probably going to cut them back just a little. They were to big before.
@@ThreePedalGarage yeah the overall look with the F1 style light & accentuated exhaust cutouts is a great idea. If you keep the fins really small it'll give the finished look more of an OEM feel. Just my 2cents ! 🤙
Hmmmm. Why not a quad tip diffuser? The idea is nice, but why the subi light in the middle? I like the whole diffuser idea just not the light. Still look forward to the final producy.
Great job bro!!!
Fred Jones thanks bro! Hopefully I can get it finished up in a few days
Andrew Wenman no problem brother take your time get it done right!!!
Really interesting project! cant wait to see how it comes out in the end! will be a cool idea for the MK4 R32
Thank you! 👍🏻🙌🏻
I've been looking, I like

Thank you man! Hoping it’s just a little nice touch people will appreciate
Man, great job so far. All that work to make a mold, you could probably sell that diffuser. I would be interested after the turn out.
I’m going to try and sell it! That’s why I wanted to make a mold. Just need to see how the finish product turns out first.

Where can I buy some? I’m looking into currently redoing the part

Emmanuel Liz thanks man. I looked for other rear lights and they were really hard to find. This light looked the best out of the options I had
That's gonna look sick! 👌🏻 Just found your channel, I have a channel for my mk6r and I'm somewhat local in NJ. I'm interested in those cruises!
Where are you in NJ I live on the border of NY and NJ so I could be really close to you!
@@ThreePedalGarage I'm in central NJ but that's pretty close! It takes me about 90 minutes to drive up to NY
FAZED that’s not bad man! Ya we should meet up sometime that would be good!
@@ThreePedalGarage I'll PM ya on fb 🤘🏻
I'm curious to see how the final product turns out.

@@ThreePedalGarage Awesome! Can't wait to see it. The F1 light will be a fun touch!
