Appreciate the videos and insights. I found what I'm assuming is headlight glare a bit distracting. Mainly because i found myself trying to figure out what the glare on my phone was 😂 Keep up the good work.
I have been really struggling with a yeasty off flavor which tastes bizarre. I am thinking it is because I may be pulling off yeast too soon, or pulling some yeast into my keg? Completely lost so want to try your way. When you say leave it for a month, do you chill your fermenter to near freezing after fermentation is complete or leave at elevated Temps for the full month? Thanks
@@SomeGuy-dc4ey leave it at normal fermentation temp for a month. Then cold crash if you want, I don't usually bother. Have you tried a different yeast?
I have, omega 113, nottingham, 34 70, cellar science german. All come out with the same issue that I keep running into. I am dumbfounded with this problem and it seems like others don't run across it
I have solid temp control, like you mention i use a freezer with a temp controller. I will try waiting a month and see if it fixes my issues. Thanks love your channel and feel free to hit me w anything else if you have any idea what I may be doing wrong haha
Love the audio setup! Sounds great and you know what you're talking about!
Thanks brother! Nice of you to say 😁 cheers

Probably sunlight. I have drapes on the windows but sometimes sunlight peaks through. Also my ring light reflects in glasses which drives me crazy.
Some good info here. Nice video sir!
Thanks 😊
What's your opinion on kveik yeast and it's fermentation time?
If used as a farmhouse yeast as intended it's fine, but if you try to ferment hot and fast for quick turn around, the beer tastes awful.
i agree, i brewed a Weiss beer kit and i loved it. I tried it again but used a Kviek yeast and its nothing like the original, and not better.
