Enjoying you sharing the entire process, luckily I haven’t needed to do something like this 🐝🐝🐝 Looking forward to seeing what you do with the comb and how you transfer the bees
Interesting see the girls fanning between the bottom board and hive stand at 20:00 and at about 26:00 the girls above the bottom board and below were both fanning.
Next time move the hive and leave the bottom board, Then use a long bread knife to cut comb away from the bottom board, then you can stand up and use your vac ,
I've seen some that if they are going to put the cone in frames and it has brood on they don't vac off all the nurse bees because that way the brood is still being taken care of and guarded. Just a FYI, do with the information you wish. I was waiting oh so impatiently for this to be taken care of, lol.
Haha. And thanks for the tip! First time for me using a bee vac so I have a lot to learn. The good news is I can happily report that the colony is doing great and the queen safely made the transfer. 😊 Cheers!
@@beesintheweeds my pc and laptop and phone apparently are on mushys. all i get is part 1 labled part 2. id screen shot it for u but you can post picture comments on here

No Q capture?
I’m pleased to say upon a later inspection the queen was safely captured and is doing well in their new home. Stay tuned for a future video!
Why did you wait so long ? That didn't happen over night. 🙃
Just kept putting it off. Lazy beekeeper! 🙃

Something is wrong. Part two is a completely different video. Maybe try to restart the app?
